Food and service were excellent!
Enjoyed everything..friendly service, the food was amazing. Nice wine selection.. Family friendly.
Great place! Original drinks , original appetizers , and original main courses.
Did not save room for desert . Great place . Was about $100 for 2 for a special night . Ordered too much food . Could have spent $75 and been full including drinks . Loved it !!
Great place! Food is delicious and the service is excellent. We had the shrimp and grits and the scallops with peas and carrots dinners. Completely satisfied and will come again.
Kadj was very nice and attentive. We really enjoyed our experience. The food was well plated and delicious. We live in Savannah and this has been added to our favorites list.
Service was spot on — attentive and friendly. The place was full but the noise level was very controlled and quite— something different for a full restaurant. Would return for sure
It was our 55th wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday and the staff made us feel like royalty they were great. The food could not have been better.
Our dinner at a Lure was excellent. All of the food was delicious. Our group had a cross section of beef and seafood. The wait staff was super friendly and the ambiance was very nice. Very good spot in the historic downtown.
Awesome meal and cocktails in an inviting spot!
Some of the best food I had during my trip to Savannah. I cleaned every scrap of food off of my plates kind of tasty. Super friendly bartender too, definitely recommend.
Took my son for a mother son birthday dinner. Upscale environment with tasty, but reasonably priced offerings. Something for my pallet and something for my son's. They were very accommodating and professional and friendly!
We had a large party and everything was spot on. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server was excellent.
Dinner was great. The rabbit ravioli is a must try dish!
This was a favorite meal in Savannah. Being a solo traveler, I sat alone at the bar, where the bartender was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The rabbit ravioli was amazing, as was my accompanying drink. If I have any regrets about my whole vacation, it’s that I didn’t get back to this restaurant a second night to try the meatloaf. That alone warrants another trip to Savannah another day...
The service was friendly, the food was good and the prices were reasonable.
The food was awesome and beautiful. Would definitely eat there again
Everything was top-notched food was great
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a fabulous meal and they even treated us to champagne! Very attentive staff and nice atmosphere.
Our waiter was great, he was a little slow, but his attitude made up for that. The appetizer Fried Green Tomatoes and Open Ravioli with Rabbit were superb, The house chips were a bit salty and the deviled eggs were bland. My daughter is a vegetarian and one of the reasons we choose A lure is the website stated the Chef would make a special vegetarian dish which didn't happen and her food was unseasoned. My other daughter got the Shrimp and Grits she said they were good but not spectacular. I had the meatloaf which was awesome, could have used a little less salt but I loved it. It's a one and done for me, probably not one I will frequent again but not totally terrible. P.S., we ordered a cheesecake to go and sit to have a drink. After getting in the car we realized they never gave us the cheesecake. I think our waiter was a little overwhelmed. Oh and keep your cocktails to the basics because not sure if it will come out right. We were told the bartender was overwhelmed which is why we had issues with the drinks.
Kit was an amazing server
For my first time going, it was an amazing experience. The food, service, and the overall was experience was better than most restaurants I’ve been to. I will definitely be going and bringing more people with me.
Our server, Kaj was informative and friendly. Unfortunately the food didn't match the service. The Tomato Bisque was very heavy with black pepper; which overpowered the flavor. The chicken breast was overcooked and dry; the hash that accompanied it was greasy and lacked flavor. Then there were the miniature crab cakes. I had the crab cake appetizer with the Caesar Salad as my entree. There was very little crab in the cakes that were slightly overcooked. The lettuce was soaked with dressing and parmesan cheese has yet to be found. When asked about our dinner, we told the server the above details, and she went to get another employee. Not sure who it was... hostess maybe? When we told her that our dinner was not memorable and maybe she could pass our information on to the kitchen - she asked if we wanted another entree. Really? A second entree? No thank you. For the prices that we paid - this was definitely not a good value. Quite disappointed.
Food was tasty. Wine menu not exciting. Service was told n point and friendly.
Crystal was our server and was absolutely wonderful. From her knowledge of the dishes to keeping our wine glasses filled, she made our evening as memorable as the food.
We will definitely be back on our next visit.
The food and service were excellent.
Good food but I was not used to that much butter. Ordered Grits and loved it.
Great service, food superior quality and meticulously prepared.
Great food and service!
Great menu and wine/drink menu. I had trouble choosing, but got the daily special, swordfish cooked to perfection!
Lovely experience, delicious food and attentive service. We couldn’t ask for more!
Great service, but food was very average for the price. Also, don’t get seated in the back room it feels like a cafeteria, we asked did different seats, front is much better.
Our waitress was very courteous and food was great!
Although I have not dined in all of the fine restaurants in Savannah, I know if I am looking for a classy décor, a place where I can have a pleasant conversation without raising my voice, outstanding variety and quality of entrees, and very knowledgeable and attentive staff, a.Lure would be my go-to place.
My latest dinner there was the Low Country Boil served by Kristal. Both were easily Savannah's finest! Kristal was our talented dinner consultant, and my Low Country Boil was far and away the best ever.
Wonderful sauces/flavors on all dishes ordered - rabbit ravioli, seafood pasta, "peas & carrots" (a scallops/risotto dish). 1st time here, but we'll definitely return.
Service was great, food was great and location was awesome.
I had the meatloaf and my wife had the scallops. Our kids had pasta with chicken and they loved it.
We also had the fried green tomatoes as an app.
Absolutely DELICOUS food and drinks! Would definitely recommend to someone who is seeking superb taste.
The mussels were absolutely delicious and a fabulous way to start our dining experience. The scallops were wonderful and the mushroom risotto was very tasty. My husband had the meatloaf and it was delicious but the blue cheese potatoes were off the chart! Everything was perfect!
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. The servers were very professional and helpful. The atmosphere lovely. We like that we could bring our own wine and pay a reasonable corkage fee. We would recommend it and will eat there again.
Fried green tomatoes and low boil were fabulous. Relaxed chic ambiance. Friendly , knowledgeable staff. And! Located on a very lively evening street.
