Altura applies the focus of ingredient-driven Italian cooking to the natural bounty of the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on wild foraged products, pristine Puget Sound seafood and locally raised heirloom meats and vegetables. Each day we prepare a menu that strives to elevate the ingredients we have found to be of the best quality. The price of our menu is $137 per person (price may vary on holidays).

Being a foodie and dining often, I would not say this lightly....Best meal you will ever have! The presentation, preparation is unlike anything you will ever experience! Amazing and best dining experience ever! Definitely do the set menu and If available the valentines upgrade is well worth it! I’ve been to Canlis many times and after eating at Altura I could never go back to Canlis for food. Altura is in a league of its own for food. No view (Canlis has the best view) but when I dine out I am going for food not a view.

No point talking about the dishes because the menu will be totally different by the time you read this. Just know that I've been to Alinea, Per Se, Grace, EMP, and French Laundry. This place is one of the three best meals of my life. And for the quality, an amazing value.

Excellent food as usual.
They accommodated and adjusted the meal for our gluten and wine allergies easily. They had called a couple of days in advance to make sure that they had everything.
I didn't know this, but after you've been there a few times, they have notes on you so that they know your preference (counter vs. table) and any allergies so they can be prepared.

Our group traveled from the San Francisco area to celebrate a milestone birthday and Altura delivered a memorable dinner as I knew it would! Every course brought exquisite taste and thoughtful presentation. Our wine pairings worked very well and I would highly encourage future diners to give serious thought to taking advantage of the pairing option so that you can get a balanced dining experience throughout your meal. Well done Chef Lockwood and staff. We will be back again soon!

Last night, the Altura team were on their game once again. We brought some friends who had never been to Altura, and they’re still reeling. It’s been a while since my wife and I last dined at Altura, so was our first time seeing the entire menu pre fixe. It’s an excellent step! We always enjoyed the pre fixe option, but it seems to have only become more adventurous and surprising since we last visited.

If you have not yet gone to Altura, go. This is an extraordinary chef with an extraordinary team around him. Everyone is focused, warm and top notch, from the dishwasher lady to the bus staff to the sommelier to the kitchen staff.

Chef, well done, and we will be back!

We have always wanted to try Altura and I am glad we went. It was an experience! But honestly, I thought the food, while insanely imaginative, did not actually taste that good. Additionally, with an 800+ price tag, I think I would rather just go somewhere else, get something yummy and buy an epic bottle of wine (and probably save 400 dollars). I appreciated the amazing service and the creativity. Perhaps it’s a little bit like haute couture? It’s meant to be celebrated on the runway as art, but you wouldn’t actually wear it? I still had a fun time with the experience of eating!

I took my wife to Altura on a Tuesday night for our 30th wedding anniversary. We wanted a unique experience and a setting allowing for good conversation...we got exactly what we wanted!

Out of this world experience. Nathan Lockwood is a highly talented chef that deserves to be mentioned into the top class of international chefs. From the finger foods such as Venison Crudo with black trumpet mushrooms and white truffle snow, over to smoked steelhead Zabaglione, goat cheese Gnocchi, Ravioli with black truffle, and a further highlight the 6 week Dry Aged Duck.

Paired with the perfect wine, all delivered by a very pleasant staff - this made for one of the best food evenings in a long time.

After this one ascends to food heaven.

Thank you to the team of Altura.

If there is one negative remark? You are in the wrong town, wish you were closer to the Silicon Valley area. When are you opening up there? (LoL)
