This was my 1st time to the restaurant. The service was impeccable. Miranda and Norberto tag-teamed to take care of us at Table 107 in the front row of the 2nd room with a full view of the piano bar. Miranda was very pleasing and candid with us. When asked, she said she’s the rookie of working there 5 yrs while others have worked there 20 yrs!! In my opinion, the ambiance was authentic Italian. We were the only table that got to try the crab stuffed portobello mushroom appetizer before they switched it. They should’ve kept it as a Special because it was delicious. I had the Scallop Milanese- Diver scallops topped with walnut parmesan crumbs, baked, served with mushroom, sweet pepper, spinach, pasta and garlic wine sauce. Just the right portion of everything. There were so many other entrees I wanted to try. The restaurant was deemed as a place to have to come back to. I shared the NY cheesecake with whipped cream, a fresh strawberry, and a strawberry drizzle. My friend had the Linguini Ala Pescatore-A seafood delight, shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari & clams simmered in tomato marinara sauce, with herbs and wine. Served over linguine. In my opinion half the bowl was pasta with all the seafood delights on top. My friend took home the remaining pasta. We also ordered a cup of The Soup of the Day- Pasta E Fagioli. I didn’t see in the vague description if it had beef or pork in it but asked Norberto if it did when he served it. He replied, “it has ham.” I asked him to box it up for my friend to take home since I don’t eat beef or pork. I was offered a salad but I don’t eat salads either. The mini bread bites were good when we asked Miranda to bring us some olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. The night we came was Randy’s b-day (piano player). We also listened to a pleasant regular singer (can’t remember his name but sings on Mon. & Sat.). He was so good he had people dancing on the floor. We will be back and will bring some friends on a different day.
Friends from Florida joined us for a great evening of dining and enjoying the entertainment at Altobelli’s
Our son in law was celebrating his 30th birthday. The band was fun and sang to him. We all enjoyed the music during the evening. Our food and service was great. We will return for dinner in the near future.
Easter buffet was excellent, first class all the way
Food was superb! Service was a bit slow (which we liked) but it was very professional and friendly! We were just within earshot of the piano and singer and certainly enjoyed it! We will be back!
The food was great and so was the atmosphere and service. We loved the live music!
We were promptly seated and one of our two waiters greeted us right away. This was our first visit to Altobeli's, and right away we realized that return customers are loyal for a reason. We will return and try some more items on their menu. The salmon special was perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the piano music and the singer who started later when we were finishing our dinner.
We had a fabulous time. The food and wait staff was outstanding. We gave not heard Randy and Adam together for many many years and it was marvelous! We will be back again soon!!
Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Usual wonderful food and great service that we always find here.
Always a great dining experience.......the owner is always there greeting and attending to us.......
We had a wonderful time both times we have gone. Piano player and singers were terrific, Italian food was comfort food good and plentiful, ambiance was warm and inviting.
Awesome restaurant with outstanding entertainment. Great service and enjoyable atmosphere.
Thanks for all the attention you gave us Al. We'll be back.
Pete and Lynn Kleifgen
The food was outstanding and the service was wonderful!!
The music was a little too loud which made it difficult to talk with our friends.
As always good food, nice ambience, special entertainment. Specials on the menu are always well prepared and are delicious. One of our favorites for many years.
I took three people who had never been, and
they really enjoyed.
perfect for celebrating birthdays anniversaries and dining with friends and family. The music gives the restaurant a special ambience. Sometimes the music was a little loud for conversation. The food was wonderful and the service even better!
I met with five other folks for a casual meeting at Alotobeli's. It was not very crowded at 6pm so talking was easy. The wine we ordered were generously poured and the food was delicious. The clams and linguini were my favorite taste. One notable feature of the restaurant was live music by Micheal King. It was great listening to him and enjoying our food.
This is a very good restaurant. The staff is great and so is the food. If your lucky to get Adam as a waiter he is top notch. Would Definetly recommend this place.
Altobelli’s is amazing. Highly recommended for any occasion.
Food and event was fine, but our waiter was very unprofessional in conduct and appearance
We always enjoy dining at Altobeli's. The atmosphere is terrific, quiet for conversation and the service is exceptional. Miranda did a great job servicing my wife and I on Valentine's Day.
Great service, food and live music! Always a great experience.
The food, atmosphere and service are EXCELLENT! We love going to this wonderful place! You will not be disappointed! We took the garlic bread home! It is a pleasure from beginning to end!
I had close friends in town and decided that this restaurant would be fun. The food was awesome. Service was super.
The singing made for a lovely background. Love this place. Never disappoints.
This is truly a neighborhood gem. They have live music from a wonderful group of musicians and that contributes to a very special ambiance. The food is very good as well.
Never having been to the restaurant previously in the many years since moving to Atlanta, we decided to check it out because of the live entertainment. We were pleasantly surprised by both the food quality and the multiple singers that shared the stage. For a neighborhood locale, we had a great time and the entertainment was wonderful. We will be back.
Nice live music. Food was very good and so was our wait staff.
Favorite dining in all of Atlanta. No other restaurant compares to food quality, value, friendliness and efficiency of staff. And the live entertainment makes the package almost unbelievable. Thank you!
Great food...great music...great service! Couldn’t be better!
Been going to Altobeli's for about 28 years. Use to live nearby, now we get there about twice a year. Unchanged and comfortable.
We love Altobelis - entertainment is excellent and service and food is amazing. Have been coming for many many years and are never disappointed.
Wonderful food and entertainment. Got to sing The Piano Man with the piano man. Wife and I enjoyed our time.
The servers were very attentive...too attentive. They tried to clear the plates prior to us being finished with the food. You can usually tell if a person is finished by observing them. It was almost like they were in a rush to clear the plates even when a small amount of food was still remaining. There is no need to hover. This is a small point but you don't want someone trying to tidy up while you're chewing your last bite. Give the guest a little more time.
Overall, a wonderful dinner. Sat next to the piano bar and enjoyed the singer. A great night. Good atmosphere and the chief's special was excellent. Recommended.
We came here on a Tuesday night for our anniversary dinner. It was our first visit and we loved it. Very attentive staff, fun performer singing jazz and Motown, hearty Italian food. We'll be coming here on the regular now that we've discovered it.
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner. I had the Trio Picata which was excellent and my wife had the Scampi which she liked very much. The service is always excellent as the staff works to make the experience most enjoyable. There were two entertainers singing that night which added a nice touch to the evening. We have been going to Altobeli's restaurant for many years. The food is consistently very good and the atmosphere makes this THE restaurant in Atlanta we go to to be "comfortable".
One the great places to eat in Atlanta. The owner and staff make you feel special every visit. The food and drinks are awesome
The food was excellent. I had the Salmon al Forno. The piece of salmon was generous and prepared perfectly. Several people at our table had various veal dishes and said they were excellent as well.
We had a really nice time at Altobeli's Restaurant and Piano Bar. We went to an early dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday and we had an amazing time. Our waiter was the best, he helped to make this a birthday my daughter will never forget. As for the food, we really like it. The Chicken Parm maybe was the best we have ever had.
We are a picky family and we had a lot of special requests which for the most part were not "up-charged". As a family we believe it is hard to mess up pasta, so we judge Italian restaurants by the bread they serve and their bread is great.
My only negative was the Soup...they only had one and it was NOT Pasta e Fagioli how can an Italian restaurant not have Pasta e Fagioli... Crazy.
overall... really pleased and we will definitely go back
