    Very tasty food. We ordered the garlic bread and great lamb chops. When we asked to change ingredients in the salad, they showed flexibility and the salad tasted good, vegetables were fresh and the amounts were big. When they saw in the order that we were celebrating a birthday, they were really nice and blessed us gave us dessert on the house and even gave us a greeting card signed by the employees. Dear team, you moved us. You run a special and excellent restaurant.

    This restaurant really exceeded our expectations. We started off with the most delicious garlic bread with a fantastic tomato sauce for dipping. It was the best we’ve ever had. The vegetable lasagna and chicken parmesan weee also excellent. We will be back the next time we’re in town.

    Overall, this was a very good dinner. Service was great, food tasted wonderful, and it was a pleasant experience. However, I don’t believe it was worth the value. There are a couple of other standout Italian spots in DC where you can get more food for the same price. Essentially, food and drinks were just a little overpriced for the experience.

    My experience at Alta last night was amazing. I went with my friend and we both enjoyed the experience. Their restaurant week menu was very affordable and some of the best Italian food We have had in a while. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating and even sent complimentary food to try. 10/10 experience! Will be coming again

    We had to be somewhere, so we couldn't enjoy the meal as much as we would've liked, but the food was good. My salad was fantastically simple, and the bruschetta was delicious.

    The customer service was exceptional, but the food was bland. I ordered lamb chops, and my friend ordered the shrimp pasta. My lamb chops were over cooked, and flavorless. The shrimp pasta had no seasoning. The Caesar salad and French 75 cocktail were great. I wouldn’t go back for dinner, but maybe for happy hour.

    Excellent food and excellent service from our server Israel. The garlic bread, lamb chops and meatballs were amazing. The only thing I didn't really like were the cannolis.

    The food was delicious. I had to ask for my server- but then he was attentive. My biggest “complaint” the dirty dishes were left on table- way too long and I would have gotten a second glass of wine had I been asked.

    Israel and all the staff were very attentive and professional. The Striped Bass special, the Zucchini Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Milanese and Orecchiette Pasta were great. Starters, drinks and Bomboloni were good, too. Nice experience with friendly staff.

    Excellent selection on the menu.... Incredible attention to flavor detail in execution. Staff from start to finish was courteous, engaged, helpful. Excellent bar cocktails and wine selection. Total win!

    I value 3 things when I go out to eat. Service, the amount of food you get with your order, and the taste of the food. This place hit on all 3. I felt taken care of at all times but didn't feel overwhelmed but the service. Food was tasty and me and my fiancé both left full and happy. Will def be back next time!

    Very nice staff and service. Small and quaint neighborhood feeling restaurant. Pasta dishes and garlic bread were great. The broccolini appetizer was just ok. Could use a larger by the glass wine selection. Kid friendly.

    Super casual, people eating dinner in t shirts and shorts. Garlic bread was the best dish on the menu; wish the rest of the meal equaled it. Loud party of 16 dominated the restaurant during the first half of dinner, but the place was much nicer when they left.

    First time here. Good experience and would return. Food excellent. Service outdoors on a Sunday evening at 8 PM was slow but friendly when server did appear. Three entrees, three salads and three glasses of wine for $200 before tip seems a bit steep for casual dining, even in the city. Will try again in the near future.

    This is the best rating I can give. I’m being nice. I was sat near a table of ladies yelling. Food took 45 mins to come out Food was average at best. Place was like eating in a barn Place was just not great. Won’t be going back.
