The highest altitude, gourmet dining spot in the US (the world?). James and Charlie did a great job hosting our family for Easter brunch. Easter brunch was a little more casual than you might find this restaurant at night. We were the only ones in Easter attire - and a lot of people in their ski clothes. No worries though. A good time and good wine was had by all.

The food was really amazing and the service is awesome.
Location is beautiful and the views are breath taking.

We sat at the Chef's table and they were super professional and friendly.
Loved the menu.

Will definitely recommend it to friends and family and come back!

This was a mindblowing experience, especially for the friend I took. The gondola ride was obviously very memorable, but what was most impressive was the quality of both food and service coming at a cost comparable to a high end restaurant at sea level. With no view. Thanks for that. I can afford to come back every visit.

I've always had a great experience here. I ordered the rabbit as my main entree, for $44 I got 4 bite size pieces of rabbit paired with about 8 gnocchi bites. It was disappointing for the amount of money I paid for a dish that was so small. I wish they told me how small it was going to be, or I would've ordered something else. I'm also not one to complain about what I eat, but the dish was also not every warm, I didn't say anything. I should've though for the high standards of the restaurant. Do not order the rabbit, the amount of food served was meant to feed a small rabbit not satisfy a human's hunger.

The Alpenglow provided us an enjoyable evening in a fantastic environment. Service was excellent. We were allowed to linger without pressure, but the waiter and bus staff never left us waiting if something was needed. The bread and salads were very good. However the main courses and deserts did not quite match their high price. The food was good, but not exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions because the location is so great.

We have gone to A/S for years. This year the Sunday brunch was disappointing. The brunch buffet had fewer items. The wild boar BLT was skimpy on the boar and heavy on the bread and lettuce. The server brought the next course without removing the previous course’s dirty dishes. Overall, the meal was not up to par with previous year’s meals...(seemed skimpy)...and the service was sub-par except for the pre-lunch cocktail at the bar.

We loved the ambiance and the details
It is really cool to open your menu and find your name there
The courses were just the right size
We also found a reasonable bottle of wine that was very nice
We are looking forward to coming back for another dining experience

We had a lovely lunch on our last day at Keystone. We took advantage of the coat/boot/helmet check to offload our ski equipment, and put on the comfy slippers. It made for a relaxing break in the middle of a day of skiing.

Great beer selection, wine list seemed diverse although we did not order any wine...will save that for next time when we visit for dinner. The food was good, fresh, well prepared. The service was fantastic. Michael, the bartender was very friendly and conversational. As was Charles our server.

The lifts and gondola closed for a period of time due to weather, which could have been an inconvenience. But the staff took good care of us, providing complimentary drinks and desserts, and great conversation while we waited to be allowed to ski out.

We look forward to coming back next year.

Getting there was a great opening highlight. Two gondolas in the evening sun were fabulous! Alpenglow had a lovely ambiance and excellent service. We decided to try the tasting menu and was not disappointed. Our sommelier help us pick a lovely wine and the evening was perfect. So perfect, we were the last to leave the Alpenglow. Our dinner with wine was over $300 but worth the experience.

The restaurant was nothing but helpful as far as wantIng to make our experience a good one but fell short. Small ok portions. Our server was slammed. I really don't see the hype other than the obvious appeal of it being at the top of a mountain and taking the gondolas up.

We had a wonderful brunch last year. This year the food was less than impressive. Ambience was great as usual. Broccoli soup was not worth eating. My boyfriend's french toast had raw egg still on it. My BLT was not anything special either. We were going to bring another visitor with us in March. I think we'll pass on doing that.

Our review is mixed. Our party of 6 came prepared for exceptional dining and we somewhat disappointed. The rabbit was dry, the steak was grisly and the scallops were undercooked. Sitting near the kitchen we saw the waiter take the rabbit back for more Sauce to help with the dryness. He rolled his eyes and appeared offended. In our experience, a chef should take constructive criticism. Our waiter was excellent and the beet coconut soup was very tasty. The rest of our evening was less than we expected.

This is one of the best all-around restaurants in the world. The exciting two-gondola ride to the 12,000' mountain top location is the beginning of a memorable experience. Extraordinary menu that is gourmet and comforting at the same time couples with amazing drinks and wine list. The ski-casual blends with the Swiss elegance in a unique ambiance. Truly remarkable service - authentically caring and a great sommelier.

I visited Alpenglow Stube for my birthday dinner and had 1 of the best dinning experiences of my life! The aproach to the restaurant includes 2 gondola rides through snowy alpine wilderness and on arrival the restaurant glows like its name. The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. I highly recomend this place for a special dinner or a unique dinning experience!

My husband and I took our 3 daughters (10, 10 & 12) for a 5:30 dinner. Every bite was better than the last and the service was top-notch. The bill was steep, but so was the entire trip to Keystone, and this is not your everyday restaurant - it's a once a year kind of meal for us. Everyone loved the slippers and blankets.

The ride back on the two gondolas was less than exciting for our girls who were freezing and terrified with the wind in the dark, maybe something to consider if anyone in your party is afraid of riding the gondola at night.

Will definitely be back when we visit Keystone again. Service was just as outstanding as the food. Many thanks from New Orleans, LA!

This is an exotic experience, to take two Gondolas to the top of a mountain and find a first-class restaurant. The three guys are skiers, but our wives have never had the mountaintop experience. We were treated like Royalty and our waiter, tall and fifty and a skier, made terrific conversation and was very attentive. I left a large tip in appreciation of his excellent service. I would return again for some special occasion.
