Alma De Cuba
Real good restaurant. Food was amazing.
We had a great dinner! The ambiance is just wonderful and the setting really makes you feel like you are in a high end restaurant in a modern day Cuba.
Our service was attentive and nice, our food was delicious and we had a great table by the window upstairs.
Mojitos are the best!
Customer service was great ! And food was amazing ! A+
Great service and ambience but wasn’t impressed with the food at all. We ordered ceviche and octopus, which were just okay. Nothing spectacular about either one. Pork empanadas were next and the best thing we ate. For an entree, I got the seafood rice, which was the blandest Cuban rice dish I’ve ever had. Didn’t even eat half. If you enjoy Cuban food, this is not the place to go.
Amazing, thank you guys so much!
A lot of fun. Great food! Our server was awesome and he offered mocktails when noticed my wife was pregnant.
Didn’t get seated until 20 mins after our reservation time. The food was subpar and well overpriced for it’s quality.
Food, service and ambiance were great. Only thing that out did those, was our waiter Tom. Great time.
Fantastic food, and that's coming from a Cuban who grew up in Union City, NJ. The lechon asado was better than even my abuela's (but don't tell her I said that)! Kudos to the chef, can't wait to come back next time I'm in Philly.
Food and service were great. 200$ for two drinks one app and two entrees is very extreme. The “drink experience” for Valentine’s Day was more than my entree...very unnecessarily priced.. would not recommend to anyone, there are other Cuban restaurants in the city that are just as delicious food and service wise but reasonably priced.
Excellent service food and drinks! My favorite place.
It was our monthly date night. Drinks were great, food was really good. The service was phenomenal and I’d rate that the best part of the night. It was a bit louder than I was expecting though the issue stemmed primarily from one table of around 7 guests who were so rowdy that sometimes I could barely hear my date.
Excellent food and service.
if you've never been, it's ok to try, but don't go back. on 2 separate dining experiences, I sat with an empty glass waiting for my server, not cool.
The food was really good. As far as the service it was a bit slow. Our server was very nice and personable and he did the best he can but the place was definitely way understaffed. He seemed to be covering all the tables himself. He was running around so much that he came and asked if we wanted dessert before we even got our entrees. Later it was quite a while till we were able to get the check and then a while longer for someone to come take are credit card. They definitely need to hire more servers in my opinion. A friend who had been there a week before warned me that she had the same issue and I was hoping it was just the night she went but that wasn’t the case.
Terrific meal. Highly recommend Alma De Cuba for any occasion.
We arrived early for our reservation and waited in the bar area. When it was time for our reservation they were very slow in taking us to a table. The hostess staff seems frazzled and unorganized. They do not carry themselves with the professionalism expected for a restaurant of this caliber.
Absolutely delicious! Favorite restaurant in Philadelphia.
Really like this place. Unusual and delicious food. Solid service. Not cheap but large portions and worth the money.
Food and service were great.
The service and food were outstanding! I had the Grilled Mushroom Rice, and a friend had the Seafood Rice. We split the Oxtail Bone Marrow Croquetas. They were having some sort of a sparkling mojito as the drink of the day, and that was very nice. I also had the Black Cherry Caipirinha, which was outstanding. Everything was great. The lighting was a bit dark, so if you have vision issues in low light then you may need to use your cell phone to illuminate the menu. This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back soon!
Excellent food and friendly wait service.
Good was not very good.
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere, overall enjoyable experience.
The food and drinks here are always amazing. But honestly the wait staff bring the experience home.
Alma de Cuba is a wonderful spot for restaurant week. It is in a mesmerizing building. Food was amazing, the only thing is the lighting is a little dark. We couldn’t see our food and the menu.
Visited Alma de Cuba for the first time during restaurant week. Great experience, definitely will return for their Happy Hour and delicious flourless chocolate cake. Yum!
This was my first time dining at Alma De Cuba. It will not be my last. Myself and a friend had the pleasure of visiting during ''Restaurant Week" in CC Philadelphia. I chose it for its location and variety. The dinner was wonderful and the server was upbeat and fun. From the appetizer to the dessert, I enjoyed every bite. I'm not a big cocktail lover but I was impressed and tempted to try a few of the drinks mentioned. That's something I'll have to do on my next visit. I've already recommended Alma De Cuba to several friends and family, now to you.
Great tastey. We got in before the crowds.
Our server, a thin, tall, young woman with very short hair was excellent, attentive, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Found decor a a little dark and until my eyes adjusted, was afraid of falling when en route to the restroom, which was immaculate. Only 2 disappointments: the sangria I ordered was lacking in fruit, almost too sweet, and the flourless chocolate cake, one of the deserts offered on the CCD Restaurant Week menu, while delicious, was not to be found on ALMA de Cuba’s standard menu. Why not offer Restaurant Week patrons only deserts found on the regular menu, such as the chocolate cigar? However a very pleasant night out made even more memorable by the excellent service, kudos to Leanna? Thank you 🙏
Service was excellent not then low mark on Pork chop and chocolate cake Service was fine.
The food & atmosphere is always amazing.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner and stellar service by Juliette.
She was extremely attentive and cleaned off our table more than once and made sure our meal was as expected without spending too much time at the table... a perfect balance of service with a smile and attentiveness.
She was also mindful about my food allergies and helped me navigate the menu. Thank you!
Best service I’ve had in a while ... and I dine out often.
Our server, April, was so sweet and explained everything so well. The food was delicious. I will be returning.
Excellent, efficient and fun
Great service great week, would definitely go back. Ate there restaurant week to try, would definitely go back. Great drinks!!
Really laid back, I enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was amazing the service was great. I would definitely go back.
It was so peaceful and elegant . The workers were amazing and nice !
We went with family and friends for restaurant week. I have been here before. I will say that I am a little disappointed with the restaurant week menu. I didn't chose this place but I know the food is good here. Restaurant week is suppose to highlight your menu so people want to come back when it's not restaurant week. I do not think this was the menu to highlight the regular menu. My husband's regular pork chop was over cooked and dry. I told him to say something. A cuban restaurant should not get pork wrong! I ordered from the regular menu. The service was great and our server was very attentive. Some of the folks in our party complained that it was too dark to read the menu (older eyes). I will recommend this restaurant when it's not restaurant week.
Excellent place for a date - great food, ambiance and service
