Allred’s is amazing, there’s no question about it. My only gripe was that apparently since we booked thru Open Table they’re allowed to bump our res to someone that calls. Had I known this I would’ve just called...I booked three months out since it’s a tradition for us to eat there the last night. They bumped us to 5pm, which rushed us on the slopes to get in to be ready for dinner. Other than that the meal was great as always.

We went for an anniversary dinner and it was almost a great dinner but.... We showed up for our reservation and was seated next to the windows with a great view as the sun set. With this we thought we were in for a great treat but that was not the case. First our server Tom had no enthusiasm to his job and you could tell he did not want to be there. His wine knowledge was ok but you could tell he just wanted to get you to go with the more expensive options. Unlike the other (older) tables around us the sommelier never came over and visited to help with picking out wine for the occasion. The Bison Tartar was a great start to the meal. For our main courses the wife had the cider brine pork chop which she said was good and I had the lamb chops which were good but the parsnip puree was cold. To end the evening I was excited to see the dessert menu but he came to the table and offered us the option of "buying" us a Crème brûlée or chocolate cake for our anniversary. There was no option given nor time to ask since he just walked off. I figured since I had a soft drink it was an auto refill but it was never refilled through the night. At the end he brought us our check by tossing it on the table and saying thanks before walking away imminently. The water refill guy had more personality then our server. I understand young people are treated differently at nice restaurants but that shouldn't be the case. If the food was marginal or the view was sub par than this would of been a 2 or 3 star review.

Nice place but we missed the beautiful view by eating too late. Staff was great but seemed to be rushing everyone to order. Bison Tar Tar was delicious. The Elk I enjoyed but some might not like the slight gaminess. Veal Scaloppini was yummy too. Drinks were ok and desert was average. Next time we’ll go for the view.

The service was excellent, as was the view. The main course was perfect, and the wine suggestion went well. The only minor complaint was that dessert (a fruit cobbler) was much more fruit than cobbler, I was looking for more than a fruit bowl with crust. It still tasted good, but didn't live up to it's description.

For an upscale restaurant with up priced food and beverages, the service was mediocre and several of the meals came out cold. The waiter definitely wanted us on his schedule for ordering. The sommelier was excellent and did a great job of explaining the wines and helping with selection. We had to request a check at the end of the meal and that proved to be difficult. After three requests we finally got the check from an obviously irritated waiter. Then we had to get our coats from the coat check which took over 20 minutes from a coat check that was in disarray.

In fairness, the meats were well prepared and had an excellent taste. The wine that was recommended was great. Overall though a very mediocre experience.

Great view, great food and wonderful service. The sommelier's advice and guidance on the wine selection was spot on. One of our wines was Col Solare and she gave us great information on the back ground of this wonderful wine from Washington State.

Allred’s was amazing. We hosted a farewell dinner for a group we brought to Telluride. Frederica went out of her way to put a special menu together and Katie assisted us with our wine choices. The ambience is extraordinary and we felt like queens!
Thank you!

Allred's is always the first place we think of when bringing guest from out of town. We are always guaranteed the best meal with anything on the menu. Our favorite this last outing was the pork chop and the buffalo rib eye.

Love love love this place! It is hard to be a gondola ride up the mountain in the dark, travel through a stone tunnel and have dinner fireside. Spectacular wine list and incredible service the only thing that topped the foregoing was the food. Save this for your last meal when visiting telluride, nothing else compares

Went for dinner while staying at Telluride. Food was far below the ratings I had read. Veal tastes like it was fried and very salty. On top an saturated arugula salad. I think the views would be great but it was dark. Bread and desert which was ice cream good
