Fantastic experience all around and easy to see why it consistently ranks in the top restaurants in Calgary.
Save room for a cocktail, appetizer, main, and dessert. Every bite is a treat and the range of flavours in one meal excellent. The gnocchi is so amazing and the new to me tempura shrimp is now a must have. Even though a menu item may sound familiar to you it’ll have a twist you haven’t tasted before. Always a pleasure. Thank you Alloy. 💕
We have been to Alloy a few times and it never disappoints. Food and service is excellent. Look forward to going again once it reopens.
Everything we ate was exceptional. Service was great. Will go again
Excellent service, excellent food and wonderful ambiance.
The best destination culinary experience in yyc!
This is my favourite restaurant and once again it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and efficient, and it felt good the be eating at Alloy again. So good!
The food is out of this world!!!
The service is top notch
I’d recommend this elegant restaurant to any and all
Always a nice ambience and the food as usual...fantastic. Alloy is a hidden gem amongst the Manchester area industrial busyness.
This place is the BEST
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Every dish was delicious and the service was top notch.
Lovely dining experience and great food. Disappointing when people bring crying babies to an elegant restaurant.
Delicious food, attentive, great service.
The short rib was delicious as was the tempura shrimp
Lovely evening, each course well timed, food was fresh and the combinations exquisite. 'D' was our waitress and she was 'D'-lightful!! The tempura shrimp appetizer was fantastic and the pork striploin delicious - would highly recommend ♥️
This was our third visit. Three meals out of four were very good. Fourth meal ( pork ) was extremely over cooked. The server removed it from our bill. The meal took a very long time to come. Overall we were happy but find it wasn’t as good as the last two visits.
Hasn't lost its touch! Amazing food, great "Covid set up", not a single complaint
Is a delightful change from the largely undifferentiated Calgary food scene. The dishes were sophisticated and delicious; and the wine list sufficiently broad and notable. Without doubt a Calgary top 10 pick....
Loved the deco decor! Food was fabulous. Our server was very friendly however the timing of drinks and food was poor. We were 65 minutes dining for our anniversary, that was disappointing. That aside, would I go back, yes I would for the food.
Everything was amazing! Service was on point and food presentation and flavors were wonderful.
The appetizers were by far the best part of the meal! Amazing!!! The main courses were just okay but had very tasty sides.
Floored every single time we go here. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are always just so amazing.
Excellent food (European design cuisine) in a fashion restaurant. Service was nice and very helpful.
Nice venue and delicious food. I recommend the beef tenderloin and the truffle gnocchi.
Very pleasant servers who were friendly and professional. We were greeted and seated in one of many splendid white leather booths with plexiglass. The white wine was flowery and aromatic.we were celebrating a birthday and had an appetizer of humous and pita. We split tempura prawns. Our entrees were salmon and short ribs.
A complementary cheesecake was the best I have tasted. Lovely, airy atmosphere.
This 14-year old restaurant was built as an adjoining office owned the Eau Claire Lumber company. The first lumber company in Calgary of that name was originally purchased from Peter Prince, the 1886 historical figure of early Calgary by descendants of the Guinness family.
Chose this spot for our weekly date night and my girl loved the esthetics of the venue. Great food as expected, cocktails were decent (we tried every single one on the menu). We wanted to end the night with some shots of Hennessy but they didn’t have any left unfortunately. Would definitely recommend Alloy to friends and family.
Great appetizers and wine.
I know it looks cliche, but this place was 5's across the board. We loved everything about it. Owner and manager very visible; modern contemporary feel; food is as good as any other high end restaurant we have been to
Dinner at Alloy is one of the best dining experiences I have had in Calgary. Its tucked away in a very discrete and unassuming location. Despite what you may think from the outside, you are in for a treat once you open the main door. Expect excellent food, drinks, and dining atmosphere!
I treated my best friend to a dinner and this was the perfect spot! Dinner was so delicious, our waitress was personable and attentive and the environment was classy. Just the experience I was looking for.
The slightly higher prices are 100% valid as the food was delightful.
We loved our date night at Alloy. The food and service was exceptional. The only thing that I would have changed was where we were seated. We were directly in front of the kitchen door. It would have been more intimate for a date night to be on the other side of the restaurant but we know the social distancing makes it hard for restaurants to accommodate everyone. We will definitely be back!
Was very much looking forward to going out for this meal but it turned out to be disappointing . The red wine we ordered for 88 dollars was so chilled that it didn’t taste very good until our last glass . The food was mostly ok but no wow factor , especially when the mains were 48 dollars each . We made a couple of comments about these issues but nothing was done . It was interesting to note that the complimentary hummus , usually the best I have ever eaten was terrible, new chefs maybe , hope it gets better really love this restaurant
Really outstanding food and service experience. Traditional menu items served with a twist. Nice mix of guests there for date night or special occasion and those just there for a great meal on a Friday night.
Alloy is our favourite restaurant in Calgary--no, Alberta, for good reason.
The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the decor is elegant. This is a first-class restaurant and we have dined all over the world.
During this time of Covid, they have put up what seems like floor to ceiling clear shields between the tables. It looks beautiful and it made us feel even safer.
great food and great ambiance, made my birthday dinner special
Best dinner I’ve had all year. Greta service and talk about make you feel at home. Thanks guys!
Food and service was impeccable as expected. We always enjoy our experience at Alloy.
Our table was by the bar. My view was of empty boxes and dishes in the blue dishwasher carriers. Not what I expect from a high end restaurant. Very disappointing as it spoiled the ambiance.
The service was amazing as usual and the setting was very good. My food tasted perfect however I found that my veggies and sides were at a weird lukewarm temperature. My meat was perfect in flavour seasoning and temperature. Would recommend it and go back.
The food as always is phenomenal. It was the service and the overall experience that left us feeling so fantastic when we left for the evening. Our server anticipated our needs and ones we didn’t know we had. The conversation was light and on point and incredibly personable. I would go back for the service alone but it also helps when you have some of the best chefs in Western Canada. I will definitely be back for both business and personal. A solid 10/10.
