Food and soup were wonderful
Love the quietness of the restaurant. Service couldn't do enough for us.
Sunday brunch is OUTSTANDING
Regular menu for lunch is great too
After many years in the area, we decided to try Allgauer's for Valentine's dinner. We were not surprised by the utilitarian layout of the dining room - typical for hotels! But we had expected better service! Our waiter was clearly occupied elsewhere and was inattentive throughout the visit. At the end, he completely ignored our coffee order and brought us the check! The evening's savior was the chef who did an outstanding job with the food. The dishes were well prepared, beautifully presented and delicious.
We may give this restaurant another try just to taste this chef's creation! Hopefully we will get a more attentive waiter next time!
I have lived in the area all of my life and this was my first visit to Allgauer’s. We went for Sunday champagne brunch. It was amazing. Well worth the money. Seafood, breakfast foods, desserts, pasta and all you can drink! It was wonderful!!
Service was very good. The food was delicious. Nice variety on the menu and the lunch buffet
Able to accommodate large groups of people. They have a lunch buffet with different selections. Soup. Salad. Chicken. fish. Steak. Rice. Mash potatoes, etc. They also have different dessert options as well. Cost is around 16 dollars and it's all you can eat.
The brunch is outstanding!
For the price they should have more selections of food items. Crab legs were not that good. Prime rib was very good. Cold shrimp very good too.
The quiet ambience and relaxing view out the glass wall made a great setting. The buffet lunch was first class with excellent selection of seafood, chicken, pork, and beef. With a large selection sides, salads, and desserts.
Champagne brunch is definitely worth the price. The food was excellent as always and the service was great as well.
Went for Sunday Brunch and it was great. The unlimited Mimosas were amazing. Our glasses never got more than half empty and they were filled. Noted in the reservation we were coming for my sons birthday and they brought him a cake and sang. We do brunch often and for the variety and service this was up to par. We will be back!
We were getting together with friends and wanted a quiet place to chat. We got it! It was great. Service was delightful, food was delicious.
Good Friday evening buffet selection and the prime rib was excellent.
Awesome food choices. There is some type of food for everyone. Great seafood choices!
The prime rib roast was great! The crab legs were good, but they were chilled, with no drawn butter available. They were fresh, not salty as some are at buffets, sweet and tasty, but if they were warm with butter that would have made a better experience. The peel and eat shrimp were also very good. The oysters, unfortunately, were not fresh. You have to be very careful with how long a shucked oyster sits, even if it is on ice they do not hold freshness for a long time. Sushi is the same. You simply cannot allow sushi to sit on a buffet too long. They had a couple of good salads. The rest of the buffet selection was not great. Simply not enough to choose from that suited my taste. For the price I would not return. I did have a slice of cheese cake, and it was very good.
Food was nothing to write home about. There are many selections of seafood and salads. But the taste was just fair. Not worth the $$.
