About Allegro - Wynn Las Vegas
At the stylish Allegro, chef Enzo Febbraro brings a lively new approach to classic Italian-American cooking, merging old world tradition and new world innovation to perfect effect. Located at the cornerstone of Wynn's Theatre Row, this bustling modern trattoria features a wood oven hearth, convivial bar and lounge and ideal proximity for dining before or after the show. The Naples born chef has crafted an ingredient driven menu that salutes Italian cooking in a very approachable way, focusing on dishes with flavor and tradition, as well as timeless favorites. The bill of fare offers the comfort and familiarity of such dishes as veal chop Parmigiano, osso buco d'Agnello, chicken Francaise and baked lasagna Napoletana. By turns elegant yet rustic, Allegro provides an exuberant chef with a theatrical stage from which to cook up his own delicious Italian aria.

Allegro - Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Right after introducing himself the waiter asked did either of us have food allergies ; most restaurants never ask this question and when someone in your groups order is delivered everyone's meal and evening is ruined because one of the sauces or a non listed ingredient that they are allergic to is used and they have to reorder and either delay the others food delivery or end up eating the main course while others wait for you so they can order dessert (My wife is highly allergic to shell fish) and on many occasions she has been subjected to this ordeal. My wife and I both had the Salmon which was excellent. The service was very customer friendly, timely and was of excellent quality. On special request they served us a dessert that was very low in sugar content which my wife requested because of medical issue. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, groups large or small because as we observed the staff was very efficient in meeting all needs of everyone; and there were, singles, couples, groups and business dinners being professionally served without any change in the ambiance or quality of service even when unplanned group sizes were being accommodated.
Our sever was great. Very friendly and attentive. My main drawbacks for this restaurant are 1. Way to compact inside the restaurant. I felt like I was sitting at the same table as the group beside us. 2. The menu was a little on the smaller side for my taste, but the restaurant was accommodating in mix and match to my taste. But the biggest problem I had was 3. The noise level of the interior. There were people shouting and a small child( about 2) crying for what seemed like forever. I can tolerate the noise for a lower scale restaurant, but for these prices, I would have thought it would have been a little more of an Adult atmosphere.
Not a very good Italian restaurant by any margin. Fortunately, was not very $$ otherwise I wound have rated much worse. Menu is thin and sauce for an Italian restaurant is awful unless you like spicy tomato sauce which for those who have ever been to Italy or have strong Italian heritage would laugh at. Frankly, seems like a "chain" Italian restaurant, even though I don't believe it is.
The food was excellent. Butternut squash ravioli were perfect and the Veal Chop was Hugh but very good. Our server Taylor suggest a mini caprese salad with prosuto on the side for an appetizer that was just enough to share. The only down side was the price of a glass of wine and I did not see the wine list or prices, it was $17.50 per glass! Took the good feeling out of the dinner when the bill came.
Being a huge fan of Tom Colicchio we were beyond excited to go for dinner. We loved the way we were greeted and the waitstaff was unbelievable. We felt like their steaks were terrific and a few of the sides were absolutely amazing including the potato purée. We were very disappointed by the desserts that honestly, felt as if they came from the MGM buffet. The restaurant felt a little tired as does the whole casino, but all in all it was a very nice evening and the important stuff, the steaks in the service where beyond reproach.
Staff was excellent. We ordered the chef's sampler and the abundance of food was overwhelming. All of the food was good, but none of it was outstanding, save the Tiramasu. Ambiance was crowded but pleasant. Steak was cooked very well, flavor wasn't as good as others in the area.
Service was poor; I left without dining.waiter served other tables while we sat there despite my request for the same treatment of the others. Interpersonal skills and customer service were severely lacking. Did not think that manager intervention was what one would expect from a manager. Did not show the desire to make it right.
Went here before LaReve food and service was great. Check in was not. Used open table for reservation, but when we got there after letting them know i had a reservation was asked if I was staying at the hotel. Odd I thought then was told to wait. After seeing other people seated who WERE staying at the hotel was started to get a little angry. Was finally seated an got to show on time but then got email from open tanle saying I missed my reservation NOT COOL!!!!! Now whats up with that?
We booked our table for 5:30 pre show dinner. Food was okay. The bread was very tasty. The bar was full and loud but the football was in so we didn't mind it. The service was superior. The Wine list was overpriced as were cocktails. One captain and diet in a small tumbler. $15.50!
Good location in casino as it's very close to show room.
