If you’re looking for All American cuisine, this Las Vegas restaurant’s name speaks for itself. Featuring mouthwatering Angus steak, fresh seafood, Angus burgers and everything rich and filling, All American Bar and Grill satisfies even the heartiest appetite. The chefs prepare all steaks, burgers and fresh seafood on the open mesquite wood grill.

This is one of those restaurants where everyone can find something on the menu. Appetizers range from American favorites like sliders and chicken fingers to other popular favorites including quesadillas and shrimp scampi. Find all your comfort food staples rolled into one menu – this Vegas restaurant has it all, from steak and eggs to homemade meatloaf; chicken fried steak, baby back ribs and deviled eggs. The question is, what don’t they have?

The comfortable atmosphere makes it easy to linger, while fireplaces and a waterfall add pleasant touches. There’s also a sports bar offering more than 10 flat-screen TVs.

The menu changed. It is now just regular bar food. Horrible decision on the part of management. Use to be a nice steak house. I definitely won’t be going back unless I’m in the mood for a sandwich and then probably Port of Subs can fill that void.

Sorry, this was a bad TGIF I'm not sure why they'd take reservations, it's just not that kind of place

Food was okay, waiter was very nice. Ordered a Mai Tai - undrinkable!! It was re-made, and was only terrible the second time. Rather stark atmosphere.

We were all in town for a yearly convention and had made our reservations a few weeks prior knowing it was a busy weekend.
8 friends from all over the US meeting for our annual convention and we all make a point to have at least one "special" dinner, so we chose American Bar and Grill because I recommended it knowing we've had some memorable dinners there in the distant past; like 5 or more years ago. Since it had the same name we thought it was the same but we were wrong.
Our group was seated promptly and asked for our drink orders, no issues with that. The issues didn't arise until we had one of our party ask about an "ingredient" menu due to some food allergies she had (she is allergic to lemons and citric acid as well as vinegar.) She was told by the acting manager that there was no "ingredient" menu and the server could help her make choices. However, our server was not confident in his descriptions and admitted he didn't really know what was in the dips/breadings/etc. He asked the chef working and didn't get great responses either so our one friend was reduced to ordering the chicken finger appetizers. But she felt rather bad about it and was also feeling bad because her requests were not really taken seriously.
The rest of us ordered various items and the food items and drinks were good. The noise level is very loud even for a Vegas casino restaurant. The menu was rather limited and given the choice I would have left the hotel and eaten elsewhere, I for sure won't eat there again based on this dining experience.
I know things change and restaurants switch things up but this place didn't change for the better and it was a disappointing experience overall.

We had show tickets to see Penn and Teller and were interested in an easy meal beforehand. Our server was named Darcy and he was the least welcoming server I have ever had in Vegas. He responded like he was put upon for the smallest requests. The food was mediocre and a bit pricey for the quality. I would not return.

We were beyond impressed with the food, service and moderate prices for a high quality restaurant in a casino. We will definitely make this our go to spot when we are near the Rio. Managers were friendly and attentive and our server Richard was the best.

This is a perfect spot for a casual business dinner. Their are a wide variety of food choices as well as beer selection. The service was fast and attentive!

Burgers and fries were excellent. Every fry was crispy! Caesar salmon salad was average-above average. No kids menu but manager obliged with pasta only servings at $12 per plate. Sports channel change request was honored. Waiter did not refill waters and overall service was a tad bit slower but we were not in a hurry. Would return.

I have eaten at this restaurant ever since it opened. It used to be a fine gourmet restaurant. That is no longer the case. I ordered prime rib—-rare to medium rare—-and there was only medium + available. This is very poor planning to overcook all your prime rib in the restaurant. I had to order a steak which was quite good but not what I wanted for dinner.

Was good, this was the second time we went. Honestly the first time was better. It seemed that no one wanted to work that day. Some of my food burned, no apology. And I asked to be charged to room and they used my points instead, ugh! Someone was not awake that day.

I have been coming to the Rio hotel since 1989 and absolutely still love it to this day. You cannot go wrong with having dinner at the American grill. It has change some over the years but it's still a great quality for the money you spent. In all honesty I cannot wait to take my family and friends back once again

This dinner was a DISASTER! We went for a birthday celebration, and I checked the menu on line to make sure crab legs were still there as they have always been excellent. Imagine our surprise when we sat down and it was a completely different menu. No crab, lobster, and truly bar food.
Our waiter was very apologetic (not his fault) so we ordered some shrimp and I had clam chowder due to the fact it was too late to go elsewhere. When I asked if I could get some bread to go with it I was told they don't serve bread any more but they could make some toast.....REALLY?? The place was 80% empty and now I know why. Use to be a great restaurant now just cheap and plain.....We would of been better off going to McDonald's for a fish sandwich!

We were staying on the strip and mozied to the Rio to check out their table games. We were looking for a casual quick place to eat that was still sit down. The food and service did NOT disappoint in the least!!! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our server Tony was outstanding!!! We are from FL and was having a hard time adapting to the dry atmosphere. Knowing this- he kept our water glasses full the entire evening. Never had to ask for a refill. The World Series was on, so we dined with a very rowdy crowd (which didn’t bother us in the least- but if there is a game on it won’t be quiet) .

If Applebees was in a casino, it would be this place. Food was mediocre at best. Only ate there because we arrived early to catch a show at the hotel (P&T). Should have gone with our instincts and opted for one of the finer dining establishments.
