All American Bar & Grille - Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Ratings and Reviews
Burgers and fries were excellent. Every fry was crispy! Caesar salmon salad was average-above average. No kids menu but manager obliged with pasta only servings at $12 per plate. Sports channel change request was honored. Waiter did not refill waters and overall service was a tad bit slower but we were not in a hurry. Would return.
I have eaten at this restaurant ever since it opened. It used to be a fine gourmet restaurant. That is no longer the case. I ordered prime rib—-rare to medium rare—-and there was only medium + available. This is very poor planning to overcook all your prime rib in the restaurant. I had to order a steak which was quite good but not what I wanted for dinner.
Was good, this was the second time we went. Honestly the first time was better. It seemed that no one wanted to work that day. Some of my food burned, no apology. And I asked to be charged to room and they used my points instead, ugh! Someone was not awake that day.
I have been coming to the Rio hotel since 1989 and absolutely still love it to this day. You cannot go wrong with having dinner at the American grill. It has change some over the years but it's still a great quality for the money you spent. In all honesty I cannot wait to take my family and friends back once again
This dinner was a DISASTER! We went for a birthday celebration, and I checked the menu on line to make sure crab legs were still there as they have always been excellent. Imagine our surprise when we sat down and it was a completely different menu. No crab, lobster, and truly bar food.
Our waiter was very apologetic (not his fault) so we ordered some shrimp and I had clam chowder due to the fact it was too late to go elsewhere. When I asked if I could get some bread to go with it I was told they don't serve bread any more but they could make some toast.....REALLY?? The place was 80% empty and now I know why. Use to be a great restaurant now just cheap and plain.....We would of been better off going to McDonald's for a fish sandwich!
We were staying on the strip and mozied to the Rio to check out their table games. We were looking for a casual quick place to eat that was still sit down. The food and service did NOT disappoint in the least!!! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our server Tony was outstanding!!! We are from FL and was having a hard time adapting to the dry atmosphere. Knowing this- he kept our water glasses full the entire evening. Never had to ask for a refill. The World Series was on, so we dined with a very rowdy crowd (which didn’t bother us in the least- but if there is a game on it won’t be quiet) .
Our evening there was great! Our server forgot to bring us our apps before our meal (Which happens sometimes) so comp'ed them and we had them for free! He was lovely and came over just the right amount of times and was very quick to fulfill anything we needed! Would definitely recommend!
It was a difficult decision to make because everything that came out of the kitchen looked so tasty. I enjoyed the fact that you can see your steaks being prepared and as you walk in you can also see the cuts of beef available. The steak was amazing and the price was reasonable. It is worth taking the time to either have a nice dinner or enjoy the sports bar and have one of their amazing burgers. I have always enjoyed this establishment.
I found the service to be excellent. The prices were moderate for a Las Vegas strip hotel restaurant. I had a house salad with bleu cheese dressing and the fish and chips for a combined $26 as part of a pre-show special on a Tuesday evening. The salad was surprisingly large and very good, as was the dressing, and there was plenty of the latter. The fish was burned on the outside, but palatable, and yet the "chips" (fries) were far too salty for my taste and limp. Overall, the serving size was more than ample, as I couldn't finish it all. There was no pressure to purchase anything. I also ordered a double gin on the rocks, which was kind of pricey but more generous than I expected. I have to say that the steaks I observed at a neighboring table looked excellent and I would order that if I ate their again. I would recommend this restaurant as a good place to catch a meal before Penn & Teller.
We were staying at the Rio so booked this on our way in from the airport. There really isn't a need to book a reservation as they weren't terribly busy and didn't really acknowledge our reservation anyway. We still had to wait in the regular line to be seated. The food was very good and nice portions. The pricing is reasonable for Vegas.
Excellent food and good service! There were 8 of us and we ordered both the bucket of shrimp and cheese curd with pickled appetizers- both fabulous! Some ordered steaks, which were perfectly cooked, others had pasta or chicken fried steak. Everything was really good and very reasonable for Vegas. Also, we didn't have to wait long for our orders.
The wait staff was rude. My waiter only came over when he took the order. The bus boy was clearing off a table & saw that my glass was empty. He asked if I wanted a refill brought it to me several times. Waiter nowhere in sight. The bus boy gave better service than the waiters. The only other time I saw my waiter was when I asked the bus boy if he could get my bill. I observe the waiters being nice & friendly to the white customers but other race was a inconvenience. I would never step foot in this restaurant again or recommend anyone else. The food wasn't good.
