Aliotta's Via Firenze Ratings and Reviews
Aliotta's Via Firenze is unique by staying true to Authentic Italian Cooking while ensuring quality, freshness and innovation meet the highest standards.
The Service was impeccable, the food Delicious, the tables are spaced allowing conversation to flow with the wide choices of wine. Highly recommend Aliotta's Via Firenze.
Don't be put off by the parking lot but the restaurant inside is really nice and simple but elegant while rustic and clean, very encouraging.
The menu is excellent with lot of variety and some nice specials and our server was excellent explaining these and answering questions and providing recommendations.
The ambiance was somewhat spoiled by a very loud pair of couples not close to us while restaurant was otherwise quiet so could be very loud when busy (no sound deadening).
Food was average at best and certainly not worth the prices, pleased with flexibility to make substitutions but didn't come out great, had to redo one dish which wasn't much better second time.
And being a quiet sunday night when another 2 tables turned up we had to request water several times and ended up pouring our own wine, not great.
No plans to be back eating in the area and debatable if would go back to give a second chance, as little else probably would or more likely drive a bit further away.
And all such a shame, this is an excellent restaurant with great character and ambiance and can be service but just needs to step up in kitchen.
I've eaten here a few times, and have never failed to be amazed at the quality of the food.
They do have a lot of variety, and are very accommodating for customizing dishes. Sometimes this bothers me as a few things done fresh are better than say, something like at the "Cake" factory where you figure everything is frozen.
After having said that, everything we had was fresh and delicious.
I had the salmon Risotto and it was superb; my date had the chicken Parmesan. Both were delicious (hey, I occasionally take a bit of something non-pescetarian).
The calamari appetizer was superbly seasoned, although it could have been slightly more rare I think.
I'm amazed there weren't more people here. You wouldn't think it was located where it was - inside it is quite delightful. Parking and access is easy.
In the words of my date this is a "Do over"
Foods were good but a bit pricey for the value. Good ambiance. Since there was only 1 waiter who took the order, we had to wait a while for our turn. When I ordered a glass of particular pinot, the bus person brought the wine in a small carafe and poured it into the glass. I wondered if that wine was actually what I ordered because I didn't see the bottle itself. I don't think I will go back there again.
I forgot about this place. Until my girlfriend and I were trying to figure out a place to take our mother's for Mother's Day. Everything about this place was amazing. They had our reservation. They seated us right when we got to the restaurant. Then, the service was great, and the food was even better. I will go back in a second. It is a great restaurant with great food.
Although I usually go to Via Firenze for dinner with my husband alone or with friends, I chose it for a business lunch on this day. The atmosphere was conducive to good discussion, as the space is not noisy even when several tables are occupied. The service is as good as it gets and the menu has something on it for everyone; comfort food to healthy options with protein and vegetables being the components of many offerings. Everyone loved it and we really appreciated the owner's graciousness when we overstayed to talk business.
Been coming here for years. I believe they've upscaled the menu and service and now in addition to being just a good neighborhood place, it could be considered a special-occasion restaurant as well. Excellent Nirtgetn Italian cuisine and service is friendly and a touch of elegance.
Highly recommended. Feels like you walked into a cozy place in Italy! After seated, the owner personally came by to greet us and described what was his recommendations for the evening. Appetizers - outstanding flavor and presentation. Main course meals (owner's recommendations) were excellent!
Unfortunately, the kitchen was experiencing a gas leak when we arrived, and we were not able to eat there. The incident had just happened so we were not forewarned, but Aliotta's had left a voicemail on my homephone. Sorry that we missed out. My son and his girlfriend were visiting from Phoenix, and I had wanted them to experience the ambience and good food at Aliotta's Via Firenze. Maybe on their next visit?
My rating is based on my previous experiences at Aliotta's.
Went at 5:30 on Sunday. There was no one to greet our party of 5 at the door and a bus boy passing buy got us seated. There were only 5 other diners in the place. Service was awful. Food was below average. We will not return.
Came here for lunch. Looks like a local place. But white table cloths and excellent service. The pastas were very tasty as well as the bread.
The lunch menu was the same as the dinner menu so the volume and price was a little high for what we would normally spend for a lunch. But it would be fine if we were there for dinner.
I went here with my boss for a business lunch at 1:00pm today. We were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. Who knew we would find an amazing Italian restaurant in the South Bay. We had a burrata appetizer, which had sun dried tomatoes on top and proscuitto on the side. The burrata was creamy and delicious. For our lunch entrees, my boss had the chicken saltimbocca and I had the gnocchi in the Gorgonzola sauce. If I could eat a meal for the rest of my life it would be the gnocchi. The Gorgonzola sauce is so creamy, and the gnocchi is homemade. Our server, Juan, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We were very impressed with the food and the service from Aliottas's. I am definitely recommending this to everyone I know!
