Alhambra Palace Restaurant
THIS WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR MY FAMILY AND I. WE VISITED THEIR ESTABLISHMENT ON MOTHER'S DAY ALONG WITH ANOTHER FAMILY TOTALING ROUGHLY ABOUT 40 PPL AND WE REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW AND THE FOOD WAS OKAY. IT WAS ACTION PACKED, FAMILY FRIENDLY AND TE PERFORMERS WERE VERY VERY ENERGETIC, EVEN THE CHILDREN ENJOYED THEMSELVES. GREAT JOB ALHAMBRA!
We love the food, but the entertainment is AMAZING & that’s our main reason for always going back!!
Amazing service, beautiful ambiance and environment. I can’t wait to go back!
Not worth going other than weekends. It was dead on Sunday and private event going on in main area. Food was not impressive. Had better food at food trucks.
Great ambiance and program. I love the interior decoration. Great place to have fun and belly dancing. There was also Latin music today.,we had a great server. She was pleasant. Will come again
Great service orchestrated by their skilled GM and maestro , Nahmoun!
Cool place that I had never heard about. Entree was very average; lentil soup, falafel and salmon tartar from the appetizer section were awesome.
Saturday evening is a fun time to be there as there are dance performances/music shows happening. They start at 8.30 and go on for about 2.5-3 hours.
We enjoyed are first experience, slightly disappointed with the food and wine options but overall it was good. The events made up for it.
Definitely recommend people to try the restaurant at least once.
Our waitress didn’t know the menu and it would also take her about 30 mins every time we ordered a round of beers. Gratuity was also forced at 20% for parties of 4 or more. The entertainment didn’t start at 8pm as advertised and around 9:30-10pm the turned the dance floor into a night club with blasting music. We will not return.
Very fun place but very loud!! Unable to have a conversation when someone is on microphone or music playing.
Alhambra Palace is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and vibe. Service is average at best, the food (especially the lamb) tastes a little bit too gamey for me. Not really seasoned great either. Drinks for overpriced and didn't exactly taste that great either. Wouldnt go back.
May be willing to try it again. When i made birthday dinner reservations i should have been told it was a fundraiser happening on the night of my reservations and my spouse was set on trying the food after graveling over the menu. We stayed but atmosphere wasn't pleasant it felt as if we were eating in a xloset only time we seen other guest was when they were going to use restroom which happened to be in the area we were in.
Its a nice place and restaurant if you never been before but little too loud if you want to have conversation. Way too loud the music, otherwise the show is same as few years back but like i said if you never been its good to see it.
Amira the waitress was friendly and welcoming. As well as the overall atmosphere. Very beautiful place with great food. A very comfortable place to be.
I would rethink going here ever for lunch.. place was empty and service was slow
Well, the food was not what I was expecting being I had heard about it from so many people. The pita bread was store bought & not made there. The food did not seem authentic. I am used to more authentic food from Detroit I suppose. I think the restaurant is more about the experience on a Saturday night.
Food quality has fallen dramatically, service not what it used to be, and was far too loud to even speak to the person next to me.
Alhambra is my favourite spot to spend a good Saturday night, the food is good (not the best in Chicago but very decent), the Music, the show, the friendliness of the staff and everyone coming to spend a good time is worth giving it a try.
I am a faithful customer and will come back to spend a good night dancing and having fun with friends, releasing stress, celebrating a birthday or just breaking up the routine.
Great food and interactive entertainment!
The flavor are excellent! Great music and ambiance!
Waitress was awful and not knowledgeable of menu. Waited a very long time. But management was accommodating by taking 30% off my bill. Best for banquets not for date night.
The food was horrible!! The singer was terrible! We were very excited to go to this place and left very disappointed
Entertainment in the form of dancing and singing, and guests get to participate in the belly dancing which is fun to watch and get involved in. Food is decent, but combined with the atmosphere, worth visiting at least once.
Saturday was disappointing; our waitress seemed as though she was fresh out of training(even though when asked, she said she wasnt) and she struggled to tend to us and 1 other table. After we ordered our food and waited a long while, she comes back and says that what we ordered(NY strip steak), they didn't have and gave us the option of filet mignon instead. I was EXTREMELY disappointed that at the end of the night, I didn't get charged the price of my original order, but charged the cost of the replacement(which was priced higher). Good business would have still charged me 28 for inconvenience. Never again. The ONLY saving grace for that Saturday night was the host for that evening; she is amazing and entertaining. But I wont dine there again.
Food took a very long time and there were bugs in the room.
It was a beautiful venue with great service. The food was good but not great. An awesome place to have a party and/or celebration. The wait staff could not have been nicer. They were awesome!
Best place to dine, great entertainment, food delicious.
Servers need to do a better job at visiting tables for needs. Otherwise everything else is great.
We had the duck and a lamb dish. The octopus appetizer was as good as the meal. A very attractive setting as well. Easy street parking [at least at 6:30 pm].
They mess up our food order and this is not the first time
Even though I rated the service at 2 I would like someone else to experience the show and the food. I did wait over 40 min to get my appetizers and food. At that they wanted to serve me my appetizers that have been sitting by another table unsupervised. Granted the manager did comp me a bottle of wine I ordered and the desserts for myself and my husband. But the wait I had was no excuse even if ot was a full house as the manager explained.
Alhambra is a great place to celebrate birthdays or other special occasions. There are 2 shows on Saturday night and each is different, so plan to come in for dinner before the 1st show starts and plan on staying through the 2nd. They do a fantastic job of integrating the diners into the show and overall ensuring that everyone has a good time.
My boyfriend and I were there to celebrate Valentine's day. The food and drinks were good, and the show was amazing. However, I didnt give it 5 stars because of our waitress. Half the time, she didn't know what we were ordering. She would also pass by our table and constantly rearrange our menus. I honestly don't know for what. When we asked for our check, she brought us the wrong one. I tried telling her this, and she argued with me that it was ours. I guess she finally got frustrated and left and brought us OUR check. She apologized, but hey, she was the one who wanted to argue. Also, we didnt like that we had to leave 20% gratuity that was already included on our bill. When you have poor service like that, you shouldnt have to leave that much.
Amazing place and really good food and the atmosphere is perfect 👌🏻👍🏻😎
It was Friday night outing. The dancing show was OK, but singer not so grate. Food was good but nothing too special. We had good server though.
Very beautiful decor inside.
Restaurant look nice but prices are not matched. Servant charged us 300$ for alcohol that we bring inspite of saying 25$. Manager was rough and aggressive during conversation . Will not recommend to others but show was nice. Will not come again .
Food is kind of pan-middle eastern cuisine, not just Morrocan or Lebanese. Food was quite good, but not memorable, distinctive, nor exceptional. Drink were fairly priced. Food was higher than average prices, but fair considering you get a stage show and DJ for dancing. Would go back either for the week-night lower cost menu or for night with a group which seems to be their core customer base.
Excellent food, very attentive service, nice ambiance, reasonable prices. Very enjoyable meal!
Not impressed, show was okay but the food was horrible and the service was even worse! Waiters don't care because the gratuity is included in the bill. The drinks tasted like medicine, All of them. Dont waste your time and money!
Celebrated my birthday here, worth the moment.
I love everything about this place!! My very first time coming!
We went for an early dinner and had the place to ourselves. First dinner show started later. Service was great and server was knowledgeable about the menu.
Liked the venue and atmosphere and would go back for the show.
