We enjoyed ourselves so much. The staff was accomodating and we got to sit next to the fireplace and comfortable seating. It was perfect! My partner and I had a great time!

I celebrated my birthday here. The food was reasonably priced with beautiful presentation. The drinks were good and priced on Chicago downtown price range if you get my meaning. The show was an added bonus with some audience participation which made it fun. I’d go back

My family celebrated my daughter's birthday. We loved the ambiance, everyone was friendly, our waitress was informative and patient our food was superb! We brought our own cake and it was brought to our table and cut for us. We had so much fun. The entertainment was very professional, high energy, engaging and family friendly. The other guests were interactive and
enjoyed themselves. The event hostess was amazing, entertaining and interactive with the crowd. Thank you all at Alhambra Palace for an wonderful experience.

the waiter still did not know how much we were going to order when he was already telling us that we had to spend a certain amount of money, she also did not ask us if we needed anything later until we called another person

I made reservations for my family and I on a Friday night. Little did I know that there is a $38 pp minimum on Fridays because of the live entertainment (music and belly dancing). As it turns out, our selections along with the imposed 20% gratuity for our group of 5 added up to about that much anyway.

I was here to celebrate my birthday, and the bartender had no one else to serve but me and my husband and took over 20 minutes to even address us. After I went to go sit down and my husband wanted to pay the bar tab, he had to wait an additional 10 minutes while the bartender was cleaning up. The hostess forgot that I had a party of eight and just seated my husband and I on our own when I had specifically made a large reservation. Our bill also came in separate checks and as I was leaving the door. The service is extremely poor and I would like some kind of compensation as I was here to celebrate my birthday

Disappointing experience - I have been looking forward to going to Alhambra Palace for sometime. I had high hopes based on reviews. Our experience was disappointing on multiple levels. The food was bland and offered no flavor. The rice was hard and crunchy. I had to send back hot tea because it was cold. The entertainment was sub-par. Some acts were good others were just terrible! The service was slow and the restaurant was not packed at the time. I would not go back or recommend to others.

I expected more from this place meaning better entertainment and food. They had belly dancer which started like 9:30pm when they told me around 8:30/8:40. The dancers were alright. They needed more dance moves.

The place had a smell like if they cleaned with a dirty mop.

The food and drinks were pricey and didn’t live up to the price. It not the worst tasting food but not great.

I’m super disappointed.

Overall experience was great except for the valet their attitude was horrible . I don't know if it was because they were overwhelmed but that did not give the valet guy the right to throw the keys to my husband . Just for that I doubt we would ever go back.

My husband and I met here in 2013 and it was so magical and special to us. We just moved back and went the other night and it seems that some of the magic has been lost. Disappointed but understood about the “no hookah” due to changing Chicago laws, but that seemed to make it a big draw for people because after 10:30 on Friday it was almost empty, and we remembered it being packed all night! The new belly dancer is absolutely precious but performance and production value has definitely suffered since the loss of Surayah. This is including the music as well, I also noticed that they were playing an odd mix of Pop and Rap music at the beginning of the night which made me scratch my head and wonder “why?” In short, our friends who had never been had a great time but we were a little disappointed, my husband is from Jordan and this was a place that was a little slice of home for him with great live Arabic music, hookah, and atmosphere but now it seems like a half-hearted version with same price. Hoping we just caught a bad night, and maybe we will try again in the future.

Over all it was great , what i didt like was that our table for 2 was attached to a table with a group of people almost like we were part of their party...it was a date night so we would of liked more privacy

The show was later than we were told when we made reservations, so we were done with our food almost an hour before the show began. The show was pretty boring, and the emcee was not good at all. The food was great, though.

This place is beautiful! The food was delicious and the cocktail menu was on point. We came for Christmas Eve and it wasn't too busy so service was pretty fast. You truly feel like you're in a Middle Eastern palace. There is no restaurant like this in Chicago.

I would only recommend this place to my worst enemies. Hostess and waitresses were extremely rude. Bus boys were nice. Entertainment was subpar. Food was not authentic. Fattoush salad was lacking flavor and falafel was hard and dry. Eggplant dip was tolerable. My friend only had two bites of her shawarma as she said it was also tasteless. When I read the reviews it was interesting that it was mostly local guides that gave it higher review. Wonder what incentives they were given. I can’t believe it this restaurant is still in business. What a waste of time and money.

We went on a Sunday night before a show at City Winery. Food was great and the service was attentive, but not in-your-face. Prices were reasonable and the portions were ample. We enjoyed the experience and would definitely return.
