Great local restaurant. Soon to be transformed into another Asian restaurant. What a shame. The classic italian restaurants are dying out.
I love this place. Never had a bad meal. Older dinning room, but warm and cozy. The staff is great and professional. Great price. Too bad it's closing to become a Chinese restaurant. It will be a true loss to the Quincy community.
Good as always, I always have a fish dinner and my wife Italian, never disappointed
This is definitely Italian comfort food . Portions are large and their homemade pastas are on the heavy side. Expect to take some home for the next day.
Have been here many times, the fact that we keep returning says it all
Had a lovely evening! We were greeted at the door by the manager and female hostess. Both so personable. Our server was so wonderful and attentive. We got the chicken parm and the Marsa
la. Both were great. Truly a great place. Both management and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful! Will always be our go to.
Walked in and restaurant had a very fish odor. Cramped and dark, didn't stay.
I always enjoy meals at Alfredo's but this time the chicken carbonara was a little watery.
The service is always good and I will go back.
Our server, Kevin, was very good and the food was excellent.
Oh my, we stumbled on this by mistake looking for another place, and boy, what a gem. We liked it so much, we went back three times during our week-long stay in Quincy for a convention. Great comfort food, casual and friendly servers, big, big portions, and they kept the drinks coming. We loved it.
My daughter lives in the area and we do not. Went to Alfredo's for the first time on Mothers's Day by his dinner was to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The service is always attentive, friendly and efficient. The food is delicious! We will go back again.
Have been going this restaurant for quite a while. That said, it has always been consistantly good. We will be back for more!
Excellent food. Price was very fair and our server was super
The food was just average and I was disappointed by the Alfredo super bland. The same thing for the service. Huge portions though if you find something you like
My husband took me here for Mother's Day. I've always enjoyed the food here. Never had a bad plate. Service can be great, but then it can be iffy. This Sunday, we had Kevin, very nice, but one of my pet peeves is bring over the dinner while you are still enjoying the salad/appetizer. A food server should know how long it takes a meal to be prepared so the patron can enjoy a well timed meal. Nothing ruins a good meal, for me, like having enjoying a good salad/appetizer then having the wait staff drop the meal off in the middle of it. Otherwise, Kevin was great, the food was outstanding and had a great time.
Our first time here to celebrate Mother's Day. We were very happy with the service and the food! We would definitely go back again!
We met friends for dinner and got exactly what we had in mind, really good food in a comfortable place with attentive service and time to enjoy conversation. We had been here together before and were all smiling when we saw one another as we knew we were all going to be happy.
Here for a late lunch with my daughter. Debbie our server did a great job with the pace of our meal. She allowed us to take our time and we never felt rushed. The fresh bread that they serve with the oil and garlic is a very nice start. We both ordered a cup of minestrone soup to start. Believe me when I tell you that it is some of the best minestrone soup I have ever eaten in a restaurant clearly made on site. For our late lunch my daughter went with the pasta bollinesse and I went with the Caesar salad and ask for it with steak tips which they were happy to do for me. Pasta was served piping hot and the meat sauce was full and flavorful. The steak tips had a great tasting glaze on them and were very tender. I don't get here as often as I would like but when I do I always have a great meal and today was no exception, thanks
Nice table to start the night! House wine (Cab okay! Waitress was great, very attentive but not intrusive! Food was good, hot and cooked as ordered! Everyone very friendly! Definately will return! becoming our favorite neighborhood restaurant! tHanks for a lovely evening!
Went early on New Year's for a queit dinner the food was good, the service was quick. The entire staff was very intentive.
I ordered the chicken parm with eggplant and she brought just chicken parm. NOT a big deal but she did not check in a lot. The bus girl was more helpful. She asked and also asked again if needed anything. She is the one who brought extra sauce. NO sauce was on the chicken so kind of dry. Portions are huge. Sauce is very good. Wish it had little more ambiance like it's sister restaurant - Amelia's . The bar is outdated - the back bar an old men's bar should be done over to private room or make a nice round bar like at Amelias - we could use something little nicer Quincy/Braintree line.
good food in a casual setting. service was also very friendly. new place to added to the list.
We went to Aldredo's with friends and all enjoyed our dinner. We have been there several times and have never had a disappointing meal. We look forward to our return.
most of the time the food and service is excellent, not this time .My fish wasn't cooked and had to ask the server twice for bread and again twice for water, hpefully this was a one time glitch
Food is exceptional! It's like being in the North end, but much more affordable. It is our go to place from the city when we want great food, at a great price, in a comfortable setting just a short drive from Boston. We were celebrating a birthday and had the Chocolate Lava cake....generally we don't have desert but if you are going to thats the thing to get...yum!
Food is delicious and affordable - good sized portions. Really enjoy it!
The food quality is consistently good, can always depend upon the wait staff to be friendly and attentive, they act as though the customer is most important, and plenty of free parking.
Very attentive staff, good food, huge portions, decent prices, nice atmosphere, and killer freshly baked bread with a delicious garlic dipping oil. Definitely a winning combination! We'll definitely go back!
I recall going to Alfredo's years ago, before they banned smoking and before the place was renovated. The food was great, but even in the dining room you could smell the smoke from the bar area, and we stopped going there. Now that has all changed and it is a much more pleasant dining environment. My companions had the chicken parm and shrimp scampi; I had the "surf and turf" special (two baked stuffed shrimp and bacon-wrapped steak, which came medium rare, as ordered). Two of us had glasses of house wine, no dessert this time. Delicioso!
Great place. Great food. Excellent staff. Everyone should try it.
Alfredo's is storefront Italian. We had Capresse, chicken carbonara, fried seafood, a liter of Chianti, and two coffees. About $75 with tax, before tip. The Capresse was good, vinegar was excellent. Enough for 2 to easily share. The carbonara was enormous. A bit overwhelmed by noodles and sauce, but tasty. My wife said it would feed a family. (And we did take home 2/3 of it). Fried seafood was HUGE. Very fresh, many clams, 4 large chunks of fish, 3 shrimp, lots of fries, at least 10 onion rings. Outstanding Cole slaw. Coffee was good but pricey at $3.50. We took home a ton of food. Very very cheery waitress.
Soup was flavorless. Service was excellent though (Kevin). Veal parm was reasonably good
Very good food, nice atmosphere and exceptional wait staff. Very nice, not always the case in most restaraunts?
Once again Alfredo's shines. The food was excellent and the service we received from Casey was outstanding. This insured the birthday we were celebrating was great. Thanks!
Classic local Italian restaurant offering good food at a good price.
We took our father out for Father's Day. He was happy we picked it, even though I had never been there nor knew anything about the place. And boy was it a find! Great service, easy to get to. Food was excellent. Definitely get the chicken alfredo (a little cliché? Worth it!) And save room for the canoli! Will definitely go again for another sprcial occasion. Experience was just awesome
We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate my elderly father's birthday that wouldn't be too loud or overwhelming for him. Alfredo's was a great find! We were seated at a nice table by the window and our waitress was the best of the best and so cheerful (unfortunately I do not remember her name but her sweet smile made us feel very welcomed and she was very attentive to our every need). There were 8 of us and we all ordered different meals for dinner. Everything came out piping hot and tasted delicious. We had brought in a cake for my father which they brought out to him and sang happy birthday and the waitress asked if we'd like pictures taken. Not only was the staff very hospitable but others at the restaurant joined in on my father's celebration by stopping by our table to wish him a happy birthday like we were all old friends. What a great friendly neighborhood restaurant! Thanks for making my father's birthday a memorable one!
Consistently good food, great portions and good prices.
Waitstaff always attentive and helpful and pleasant!
Food was good, prices were very good, service was very friendly. Will definitely go back
As usual a very nice dinner experience. The food was excellent as always.
