Great service and ambiance. Food was delicious, especially the ravioli!
Great service at standing food simply marvelous
Absolutely amazing! Our first time here and now my favorite restaurant! If you have not tried it you absolutely have to
We celebrated my Birthday here with friends! Everyone loved it! From the delicious appetizers: empanadas and gnocchi; the grilled caesar salad; fresh baked bread with seasoned butter; to the wonderful entrees! My Argentinean skirt steak was delicious and full of flavor. Very good wine list too! Service was good for a busy Saturday night. I've never been disappointed here and we will continue to come back here! Great for special occasions or date night.
We came here to celebrate a new job and try a new restaurant. Our server Sarah was fabulous. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and made our experience great. The food was delicious! My fiancé got an apple old fashioned, and he loved it. We both left feeling satisfied and had to take the rest of our bottle of wine home. We’ll definitely come back and check out some more fun cocktails!
Best meal I have had in a long time. We had the fried zucchini and empanadas as appetizers which were delicious. For dinner we split the shrimp and scallop speg and the choose two raviolis, both were wonderful. Definitely will be back!
The food, service and ambiance of the entire establishment was outstanding! Absolutely loved everything and will most definitely be there again! I have told many others already about how wonderful Alfio Buon Cibo is.....thank you!!
Celebrating a friend
Excellent, as always!
A hidden gem in the Queen City. Amazing food and five star service.
Always great food! Love the half price Tuesday Ravioli night!! well worth it but every night is worth it!
Birthday dinner in one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is to-die-for! The ravioli are their trademark dish - prepared with various fillings (the short rib is the classic) and sauces. VERY rich dishes (not complaining) with the sauce. Italian/Argentinian is it - wonderful Italian dishes and well prepared steaks. Service is great. The only issue is the acoustics - depending on where you sit and the number of other diners, noise becomes a problem.
Salad was a little disappointing but everything else was very good!
The best italian I have had in a really long time. I will be going back!
Awesome as usual! One of our favorites. We'll be back.
We went for Cincinnati restaurant week. The goat cheese salad, chili, and mussels appetizers were delicious! The duck ravioli was amazing but you couldnt really taste the pumpkin in the sauce. Everything about the pistachio crusted salmon entre was delicious. We had the tiramisu and cheesecake desserts; they were good, not great. Probably wouldn't order those 2 desserts again. Drinks were great and so was the service. We will definitely be coming back for future date nights and will be coming back with friends
This was my first time visiting. It definitely will not be my last. Ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. Everything was DELICIOUS! 😋 Spinach and cheese empanada, harvest duck ravioli, brown sugar goat cheese cheesecake! Do not worry about not having salt or pepper shakers on the table. Everything was seasoned perfectly! Fast, friendly and attentive service! My compliments to the entire staff!
We visited during Restaurant Week and the food was amazing! The short rib ravioli and the filet were outstanding - can't recommend enough! Great atmosphere - cozy and welcoming.
Restaurant week and my birthday!
The food was amazing and the service was above anything I've ever had. It was an overall wonderful experience.
Empanadas were very tasty and duck filled ravioli with white sauce was superb. Great atmosphere.
We went for restaurant and tried a couple of different things. We got the empanada, steak chili, steak, pistachio crusted salmon, bread pudding, and goat cheese cheesecake. Everything was very good. Although I have other favorite restaurants that are a bit cheaper for the same great quality. We would definitely go again due to the ambiance and it being reasonably quiet. However, there is an incense smell that was a little distracting. I couldn’t tell if it was used to infuse something or not. 🤷♀️ overall it was a good time.
Appallingly, offensively loud. Everybody was shouting to be heard. Ceiling design meant we could hear other conversations pretty clearly.
Excellent service only to be outweighed by their extraordinary food! Restaurant Week brought me back again this year because it's such an incredible value for the meal and experience. High recommendations all around!
Cincinnati Restaurant Week!
We love Alfios! A little expensive so it's our special occasion spot or Restaurant Week fav. This time the special menu only offered 1 empanada & no Cimichurri sauce, but fortunately our server brought us the sauce upon request. The short rib ravioli is incredible! Service was friendly, but slower than usual. The restaurant was packed, to her defense. Butternut Squash soup is the best in town. We will be back.
Marco was an excellent server, food is always fantastic. We came in on Cincinnati restaurant week and ordered the special. Food was fantastic, only complaint was the size of the, literally, bite sized dessert. I’m surprised they’d served such a tiny tiny piece, they should have described as a mini goat cheesecake
We love this restaurant. And, Ally (i believe that is her name) is exceptional.
Very good food. Kitchen was a little slow and the service lagged.
It seems like this could be the type of place where it's hit or miss when you order from a menu you don't know, which is why I'm glad I came during restaurant week. Some of the dishes were divine and spot-on, others were a just okay. I've had better cocktails (specialty and otherwise) around the city, but the brown sugar goat cheese cheesecake was truly inspired. The chili was the surprise dish of the evening (super-hearty, great full flavor and just the right vegetable balance), but the veal ravioli was a let-down. SO much cheese, so little veal. So would I recommend this place to a friend during restaurant week when you can taste around and afford to turn your nose up at pricey dishes? Absolutely. Would I recommend this place to a friend on a regular day knowing there's a 50/50 chance a random dish will be outstanding? No. So yes and no. (You should maintain a regular tasting menu)
Excellent meal. Would definitely return to try other menu items
I really enjoyed this place. My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and we will definitely be back. It's an adorable place and pretty authentic in terms of ambiance. The food was amazing, from the herb butter and bread, to the duck ravioli - omg heaven. Then I got to the goat cheese cheesecake and just could not believe how delicious it was. The service was great too, I like more of a relaxed server, and someone who doesn't over crowd or over check but keeps everything going and that's exactly the service we got. Overall, outstanding and I was very pleased. Wine selection was excellent too! Brava!
Legitimately, some of the best food I've had in all of Cincinnati. The sauce on the Veal Ravioli is to die for, and the goat cheese brown sugar cheesecake is one of the most creative desserts I've had in years. Will absolutely be coming back.
Excellent food. We had the Veal ravioli and the salmon. Both were wonderful. The bread pudding and the tiramisu were both excellent also
Everything that we ordered was amazing and our server was super friendly and attentive! We will definitely be going back!
Excellent food as expected!
my girlfriend and I received excellent service. We wanted help deciding on wine and the manager was kind enough to walk us through different options. We asked about two different wines and then the manager came back with 3 bottles she thought would pair nice with our meal while being considerate of the prices of the wine we asked about. Great experience.
Special cocktail was expensive. Lamb chops had good flavor but were very tough. Risotto was outstanding. Brussel spouts were not eatable
Always a great experience. I’ve never had a bad meal or even an average one. Thx!
This was a wonderful setting for a family get-together. Quiet enough that people could actually converse. Food was fresh, served at the appropriate temperature and beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety which pleased our carnivores and vegetarians alike. Excellent service. I'll be back.
