Fried scallops were small, oily, and rubbery. Chicken Parmesan was dry, and served in a pool of water. Service was slow, despite the small number of patrons. Maybe just a bad day, but I cannot recommend Alfie’s.
Service was great. Meghan was our waitress and she was a pleasure. Been going to Alfes for years and never had a bad meal.
We have been going to Alfe's for a few years and the food was excellent as always. The last few times we went to Alfe's, the wait staff was wonderful. They were entertaining as well as professional.
We went early and everything was delicious. Alfie’s is one of our favorite places to dine at down the shore.
We always have a delicious meal at Alfe’s!! Never are we unsatisfied with our food choices.
Alfie's may not look like much on the outside but what exceptional food. A wildwood favorite.
The salad and bread were very good. Our entrees were also good. The restaurant however was so dark you could barely see. The restaurant itself hasn't been updated in decades.
Love Alfe’s, always recommend!
Have been going here for 30 yrs, always consistent. Food excellent & so is service!!!!
We were 6 in our party and the overall dining experience was terrific. Our waiter Stephen was outstanding. He was very efficient and paced our food orders from appetizers thru dinner in a timely fashion. The food was absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong dining at Alfe’s. One of Wildwood’s Best.
Pat, our server was wonderful. Some of the best pasta sauce I've ever had.
I had the special that was mahi-mahi with their Jacki sauce which is delicious! Our waitress was Pat and she was excellent...super friendly. I will definitely request her my next time there.
Need to have reservation system updated. We made a 3:30 reservation for a Sunday and got there a few minutes early and all doors were locked. We waited a few minutes trying to decide what to do and while doing so a family of 4 showed up who had a 3:15 reservation. While discussing what to do the bartender opened the door and said they didn’t open until 4. Because of the weather he let us in to get warm since it was a cold/rainy afternoon. Within minutes we were seated even though they weren’t quite ready for us. We shouldn’t have been able to make a reservation for a time that they weren’t open. Despite all of this service and food were excellent.
Michael was pleasant but waited to long for food. We were 6. No bread or salad for a long time.
Always great food with a good wine list at reasonable prices.
Excellent food and service by Kadie.
Always great food and wonderful drinks
We always enjoy Alfe's with great food, drinks and service. I'd go for the salad alone but of course we keep going until we roll out with belly aches because we keep going....and going.....
My mom’s birthday!
Service is always great along with the staff and food. Been eating there for years and never had a bad meal or anything. Will always go there and will recommend to anyone that this is the place to go.
I would have given an even higher rating if the hostess at the desk was friendly and attentive to the customers. She was borderline rude and disinterested in us.
We arrived Saturday night at 5 and it was nice and quiet. Perfect doe a romantic dinner for my husband's birthday. By 6pm it was packed and quite loud with many conversations. The food was amazing!!!
We dine there at least once a week. Love the food, always consistent and the service is great.
Alfie's is one of our favorites! Always great! Two in our party had veal Francaise and they said it was the best they've ever had!
Worth the drive from Somers Point! Four of us had dinner - all with excellent food. Service was good, and fairly attentive; although seating was rather clustered when there was room to spread the table sitting out a bit.
Will definitely return.
Excellent food as always and Steve was great too.
Took friends who had never been there for Christmas dinner. They were pleased and surprised by the quality of food and service from Patricia. We will definitely go back soon.
Alfie's serves good southern italian food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the food is indistinguishable from the myriad of other similarly priced italian restaurants in the Wildwoods. Their "Jackey sauce" is a differentiator on their seafood dishes; however, not enough of a differentiator to make me want to return frequently.
The crowd is generally older (50s and 60s). There is ample dress parking . And, it's connected to a bowling alley if you're so inclined. Alfie's is a solid alternative for taking out the whole family out for a fairly priced Italian dinner. Make sure you leave room for a cannoli or tatufo for dessert.
The food and service were great. The portions of food were appropriately sized with the prices. I got two drinks which were okay-- nothing special. We sat in the dining area which was more quiet. There were two bar areas that seemed pretty popular. My only complaint is that was a very strong paint smell in the room. It was so strong that we almost left. We were glad we ended up staying because we all enjoyed our meals.
from the moment we enter this restaurant,(the hostess) all through our experience, the bartender , waiter or waitress til the time we have completed our meal-it is a wonderful experience. friendly, never waiting for service, helpful, will explain all the ingredients if necessary=
just a class act and consistenly excellent experience.
My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing dinner . Food was awesome . Mahi Mahi was so fresh. The veal very tender. Alfies has become one of our very special and favorite restaurants.
Enjoyable evening, good food and good service. Iwould recommend to friends
Shore. Can't go wrong at this long running wildwood icon Italian. Long hots stuffed with cheese and Italian ham are a winner. Clams and linguini also very good. Others enjoyed their meal as well. Extensive menu which will please every palate out there. Prices are reasonable including the wines.
Every year we look forward to visting Alfe's! It's the highlight of our dining experiences!
Have been going here for 20+ years. We specifically order either the Veal Patricia or the Veal Jackie. These are two signature dishes. The veal is always very tender and the seafood topping is delicious. Both dishes have a seafood topping containing shrimp and scallops cooked to perfection. The Patricia sauce has tarragon (my favorite) and mushrooms. The Jackie (my wife's favorite) has tomatoes (diced), mushrooms and basil. We don't care for the tomato (marinara?) sauce here, it is too acidic for our taste. The wines by the glass are quite good. The prices are under $25 for the veal and less for other dishes. they also offer several fresh fish dishes every day. We are told they are very good.
Alfe's never disappoints. Food is great. Service is great. Weekends are alway lively with entertainment.
Have been coming here for many years, have always liked it here. Was in wildwood for the weekend. Came to ladies and they hit it out of the park. Best meal I have ever had here. Good job.
The food was really amazing! It's hard to get in in the summer with the crowds. Very good!
Our service was wonderful! Food fantastic. I had Veal Scallopini and my husband mixed scallops, clams, shrimp, calamari over linguine. Portions were large with a delicious homestyle salad. For groups of four and under, we were seated in a very romantic, quite room, decorated in grape vines and a
real Italy feel, white table linens, candles, dim lights. An adjacent room was much larger hosting tables of six to 20. This room was noisier, with a filled capacity of happy diners. There was also live music which could be heard in our room. The menu offers many seafood dishes. The night we visited you could have six different fish dishes cook to your liking. Recommended by locals, on site parking, a must visit for that Italien Seafood Lover!
Chicken pram tasted very fishy and sauce was a bit tart I do dine here frequently but after Mondays food I would keep it on the back burner! Waiter was excellent though!!!
