We can’t wait to go back. The burgers were phenomenal, and the service was excellent. The gluten free options were fantastic! We loved the ambience of Fell’s Point.
Great gluten free options!! They have a separate fryer for gluten free. The tots are really good, and I had the cream of crab with a grilled cheese. Highly recommend!
This is a fantastic place for those who need gluten free options. The food, whether GF or not, is excellent. Good service, expansive menu, nice ambience. And such a treat to be able to order a GF crabcake or grilled cheese!
Great atmosphere and the utmost attention was given to my daughter’s need for uncontaminated food. She has Celiac and the staff made sure her food was prepared and marked Gluten Free. We will definitely make a return trip when in Baltimore!
Great food and service
Food was amazing and had a wide variety of gluten free options!
Hosted a dinner for my son and several of his friends. They were late arriving but he staff was very accommodating and although a busy night, did not seem impatient to have this table for 6 sitting idle. The food was great, especially the cheesy crab dip. So good! Most of us had sandwiches and they were all delicious. Drinks were also good. I would go back to Alexander’s Tavern.
Great GF menu! Always looking for Celiac friendly places and this is one!
Great service and great food. I will be there again
We went to Alexander's for Restaurant Week and it was fantastic. The food and wine were very tasty and well-paired and came in hearty portions given the prices. I took some of each course home. Glad we made a reservation as it filled up quickly on a Friday evening.
Alexander's Tavern was terrific!! The food and ambiance was awesome!! Service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either! I would still highly recommend it!!
Great food and drinks!
I have been to Alexander’s at least a dozen times. The most recent visit was on a bustling Saturday night, right after a popular event in the area. Every table was packed and they had a 45-min wait and yet we had incredible service by Abby. Our drinks were never more than half empty which is a rarity, and that proactivity was much-appreciated. The food is tasty and it’s a cute ambiance. They have many valuable specials through the week and a solid gluten-free menu.
Everything was great except each time we go there we have to keep looking for the server. The servers spend a lot of time in the back of the restaurant talking to each other. They could be more attentive.
Was in town for 5 days and stumbled across Alexander’s our first day in town. There are two floors and the second had tables and darts and we made our way up only to be usages back downstairs because there was a “private party” even though there were no signs - but it happens. The following day we made our way back to try and get in a game of darts and the upstairs was closed, but we were told to come back that evening and it would be open. When we went back there again was a private party... we sat downstairs ate and drank for a few hours and even befriended some of the staff. We once again left and came back the following day to get a much anticipated game of darts in, guess what... nope - private party! At this point I honestly thought we were part of an elaborate joke. Unfortunately we weren’t so we again sat down for meals and drinks and gave them our business for the 3rd or 4th time in as many days. After speaking to two bartenders I had the great idea of reserving a private party for ourselves, and asked what it would take. Fully prepared to place a deposit down to secure our space, it is a business after all, but was told all we’d need to do is set a reservation on open table for the following day and our space would be reserved upstairs with a table and access to the dart boards. I made the reservation, included details and the upstairs / dart access request, and was given a confirmation. The following day we arrived about an hour early with the wishful thinking that we would have early access, but not only was that not an option, they told us they had booked another private party and we would not be allowed upstairs. Up until this point we had been nothing but friendly, eager to spend, bar patrons. They kind of customers I’d love to have at a place like Alexander’s. When I asked for a manager to see what happened to our reservation I was met with attitude and received zero explanation, zero apology, and zero reason to return ever. Alexander’s, you SUCK.
Excellent food and reasonable prices. Lots of gluten free choices! Service was slow.
The server was very nice. The food came quickly and our order was correct. The food was great! The overall experience was outstanding and we will definitely go back when in town .
The food was great and so was the service. My only complaint was that we weren’t able to split out the checks per couple and I always find that annoying in this day and age.
We had a great time Saturday night at Alexander's. A rare evening when both kids join us for dinner and while my husband and I had been there before, it was the first time for our adult children. The food is so fun, fresh and seasonal. We jumped on one of the tator tot dishes for an app and loved it. I had the gluten free crab cake and enjoyed it. The rest of the fam tried pizza and sandwiches. We all enjoyed the food and the three of them even indulged in a donut ice cream sandwich which looked amazing to me. We will definitely return - maybe for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday.
Our server was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. Great place for kids, they had colorable placemat menus for the little ones. Specials were awesome, went on a Thursday and it was BOGO glass of wine, $1 beers , $6 personal size pizzas and 1/2 off bottles of wine. The pizza ‘3 little pigs’ was amazing, as was the Cobb salad. Clean, friendly, fast, affordable and kid friendly.
Great place for brunch! We enjoyed some delicious brunch food along with quality mimosas at a very affordable price! We brought our dog along and sat outside on the patio with him. The servers were very kind and friendly. We did have to wait for a bit for our utensils after receiving our food but it was not a big deal - everything just looked and smelled so good we couldn’t wait to dig in!
We've been to Alexander's Tavern several times and are pretty happy with going there. On this trip, the service was a little slow - not bad, but not as speedy as usual. Food was good, as usual. Recommended.
This is my third time at the restaurant. I came with a group of 6 and everyone loved the food. Bar drinks took over 20 minutes and weren't that great but the food makes up for it!!! I am gluten free and the menu for me had a lot of great choices. I will be back soon!
Alexander’s Tavern has a very diverse menu and are very knowledgeable regarding gluten free choices and alternatives. Check out their online menu! I would go again when I visit Fells point!
Good brunch specials on a Saturday. Food was very good. The crabmeat tater tots are not to be missed.
The server was extremely rude. Another server who was shadowing her was very attentive and nice.
Quality food for a great price. Can’t beat it!
Alexander's Tavern was great! We loved it. The Bloody Mary's on Saturday Brunch were great and we also really liked the Boardwalk Fries with Crab Dip and Old Bay. Sitting outside was nice too. There is great people-watching available up and down Broadway.
Pizza was not cooked enough, other customers were obnoxiously loud.
The food was great! Nice place to visit. Will be visiting again soon.
Alexander's Tavern has a variety of dishes that we will return again and again in order to try all the variations.
Great service! Fantastic food, plenty of gluten free options. The crab omelet was PACKED with crab. The spicy bloody mary's were not only delicious but very cheap. I would absolutely come back.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Alexander's Tavern. The food was great and the waitress was especially outstanding in helping with cupcakes I brought.
Food was excellent as was the service. Sunday evening seemed to attract families with young kids so it was fairly loud, the kids were all well behaved. I was particularly impressed with the follow up service by the waitress. I'll definitely be back.
Great!!! We had a great time. Food was awesome
Had A comprehensive gluten free menu and their GF crabcake was the best. Great value and in a hip location.
Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon during a recent trip to Baltimore. Hamburger was delicious and the tater tots are a must have!!! Our watress was great!!
The mimosa pitchers were very weak! However, the food was good and they were able to accommodate a brunch of 12 people!
Food and service were outstanding!
Bartenders were awesome!
