    I used to go a lot to when they were at their old location. The food and ambiance was much better. This is my first time there since the (before C-19) and the food was not as it used to be.

    A special acknowledgement to Duong, our server. We've eaten at Alexander's many times before but we found Duong was exceptional. He was especially informative and knowledgeable from the bread and butter preparation to the specials of the evening. He made our evening more enjoyable because of the care that went into each dish.

    The restaurant accepted a late reservation via OpenTable but the staff apparently don't like staying late, and I suffered the brunt of it.

    We have dined at this restaurant many times with our family and we always had a great time with the service. Today, our waitress was rude and argumentative. We were there for lunch for our son's birthday. A few minutes after we placed our orders, we asked our waitress about the raw tuna dish which had been removed from the menu. She argued that they don't ever serve that by itself but she would ask the chef. We can ask to replace it with one of the side dishes for that raw fish. She said it was too late to change. We were okay that we couldn't change it, however, it was not what she said but how she said it. She was condescending towards us. When she noticed my unpleasant reaction, she changed her tone and became more helpful. It was disappointing that Alexander's service dropped off the cliff.

    This was our first visit to Alexander's Steakhouse. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with our 9 year old daughter. They rolled out the "red carpet" to help us feel welcome and celebrated. The food, service, and environment were perfect for the evening! We will come again.
