Alexander's is an oasis for award winning cuisine, wine, and craft cocktails. We chose this restaurant for a special occasion and it did not disappoint in any way. This was our first experience at Alexander's. We began with cocktails and all were made perfectly; not too heavy a pour, and not too light. All four entrees were stellar - which in of itself is special. Two of us had the duck - absolutely wonderful!! One had the beef filet and it was perfectly tender and flavorful; the medium rare requested was spot on. The last entree for our group was the pecan crusted chicken of which it has to be said - fantastic. We appreciated the subtle and excellent nature of our service. We absolutely will return and cannot recommend Alexander's enough for their superb food and service. Definitely a cut above any other higher end restaurant in the area!

Service was excellent. Special attention to the 82 yo that was celebrating birthday.Food portions smaller than expected. It was noisy but they have put some noise blockers in the ceiling. A great place to go for very attentive service for a special occasion. Food presentation was beautiful.

Alexander's is outstanding! They never miss any detail, from service to food quality. It's always a perfect experience at Alexander's! The team is amazing and are like family. In today's world, it's unheard of for restaurant staff to be in place for more than 20 years. There are multiple Alexander's team members who have been there for more than 20 years.

As always, the food was exceptional! Great selections on the menu. It was hard to choose. The service was excellent, not rushed, but timed just right. There is no better restaurant in Roanoke that I have found!

Delightful evening during VBR Restaurant Week. Alexanders offered a great menu for the evening. We were able to order the soft shell crab appetizer as an additional share. Just great. Wine pairing was spot on. Service was impeccable. Thanks
