Alexander's on 30th Ratings and Reviews
Ordered the 38 Special pizza and pink penne pasta. The pasta was delicious and did not disappoint, however the pizza took too long to come out , we were done with the pasta by the time it came and to top it off it was burnt. The waiter was courteous enough to correct the mistake and bring us an other pizza. We were two slices into the new pizza when the bus boy asked if we needed a box, we said no and kept talking when 5 minutes after he asked us again if we were all done. They did not seem busy however it felt like they were rushing us to wrap it up. At the end our waiter was courteous enough to not charge us for the pizza which partially made up for the annoyance of feeling rushed.
I was disappointed this time around. I made a reservation a week in advance, but I still could not get a booth, so we had a very small table that did not include the ambience that I intended to be a part of. When I asked the waitress if she could recommend a wine, I could tell she was annoyed that I asked her for a recommendation. The food just did not taste good. The dessert menu no longer carries desserts from Extordinary Desserts. I would not go back. Overall, it was a bad experience and it was my birthday outing, so I was disappointed.
We were a party of 6 and we had a great meal and great service.Rex our waiter was attentive and we were a pretty rowdy group. The bread(amazing) appetizers and all our entries were enjoyed by all of us. We had been here 3-4 times but the other 2 couples had not... they loved it. We were seated indoors this time but I love the patio area with the movies playing and water features.Again, great food, our server Rex was awesome and great ambiance for a winning night
My husband and I went to Alexander’s for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was Monday and they have a Monday night pizza special in the outdoor dining area. My husband requested that they play Alice in wonderland as their featured outdoor dining movie and they did. Our server was great. The atmosphere was great. And the prices are very reasonable on Monday nights.
Alexanders was a great experience, the service was awesome. We had a large party, we were seated right away even though everyone wasn't there yet. We started with appetizers and had the bruschetta with barrata cheese and prosciutto, very good, then we had a charcuterie board also very good. The lasagna was delicious, I tried the walnut Gorgonzola pasta, it was super delicious, I will order that next time. Our overall experience was great and I recommend this restaurant.
It was an awesome experience especially for it being our first time there. Our server, Matt was very attentive and ensured that our meal was taken out in a timely manner. He always checked up on us and made sure our glasses of water were never close to empty. Our dishes were delicious! I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the meat lasagna. Both exceptional dishes and came out piping hot. Definitely will be coming back again!!
Once again, Alexander’s on 30th provided a wonderful dining experience! Our server Matt was terrific, attentive, and so helpful. We started our meal sharing the wedge salad, our friends shared the rustic salad. The salads were already shared/plates which was much appreciated. Our friends order the filet (cooked medium and just right), another the pasta bolognese, my husband ordered the walnut Gorgonzola pasta and requested sea scallops be added, and I had linguine di Kathleen. All pasta dishes were cooked perfectly! We shared tiramisu which was wonderful and not too sweet. I look forward to a return visit! We are so fortunate to have this gem in our neighborhood.
It was my families first time here & I chose this spot for my birthday dinner because of the positive reviews on yelp. The only thing positive bout this spot is the food I ordered the Tuscan seafood & it was amazing, but our waitress was not friendly at all. My mom to asked her that we were going to split the bill & she right away shook her head & just said "no you cant" with an attitude it seemed like she didn't even want to serve us after that & just throughout the dinner she just had an attitude with my party & did not even offer to give me a desert since it was my birthday.
Alexanders on 30th was recommended to us so we met up with friends and gave it a shot. All of us are so happy we did. Kelly was our server and could not have been a better ambassador for this place. The food was great, the wine was great and the service was perfect.
To make the night even more special, there was a small wedding reception with about 20 people at an outdoor table across the courtyard from us and their flowers, lighting joy made everyone
enjoy a beautiful evening.
We will be back soon!
My date and I shared the mussels for appetizer and they were phenomenal! He got the Bowtie Truffle Mac and I got the Linguine di Kathleen - both were amazing and tasted great the next day! And by “next day” I mean 30 mins after we left the restaurant because we could not wait to eat it again.
Food was excellent, atmosphere was great, and the service was even better. Our server kept our table clean and our waters full. And there was always a busser around to help and check on us.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.
