Vinny, our server, took amazing care of us and offered us fantastic suggestions when it came to food.

The food was amazing.

Apps: Caramelized Brussel Sprouts & Sriracha Soy Glazed Shrimp
Main - PB&J Burger with an added over-medium egg

Beer - Sad Panda Stout.

This entire experience makes me want to go back again and again.

We came in on a Monday night at 7:30pm. There were very few people in the dining room at the time which made for a quiet, enjoyable dining experience. Our party of 3 ordered a turkey sandwich, and their fish and chips x2. All were excellently prepared and delicious. The service was outstanding as well.

We just happened to walk by here and look at the menu, first thing my wife saw was the fried brownie so we went in for lunch, the Risotto was so good with shrimp and salmon, great portion and really good. The chicken sandwich was just ok but toppings of pineapple and others things were really good. The Ale Beer cheese soup, definitely get it!

Wonderful service! Delicious food, we had the calamari & fried pickles, truffle fries, fish & chips, & the prime rib special. We sat in the bar area where the service was excellent! We will definitely dine here again when we come back to Denver.

Great Place!! Rooftop Bar has a pretty good view of Downtown Skyline from the West Side! Wish they would trim the trees a little bit for a better view but overall great experience and food! very extensive beer and wine list.

We enjoyed our time at Ale House @ Amato's. I met up there with some friends and their family and the wiat staff was very helpful in getting us a seat outside, even though there wasn't a table set up for our party size. The view was great and having the extendable roof proved clutch when it started downpouring. We were definitely satisfied with our experience!

Our waitress was horrible. Never came back once after she took our order. We had to ask the bus person to ask her for another glass of wine. When it didn't show, we decided we'd pay and have a 2nd drink at the bar. Then she showed up, slammed it down, and zipped off without a single word. The Host apologized for her, said she was new and took care of our money in the end. He even said he'd taken some money off the bill for the inconvenience. I didn't realize that speaking to your customers was something that required being experienced vs. new.

We had a lot to talk about and we didn't feel pressured at all to get done and move on. The only problem was the main course arrived just minutes after the appetizer. Food was very good. We both left with boxes.

The host couldn't find our reservation, even though it was through Open Table. The waitress took everyone's order but our 8 year old's. Then I asked if she had taken his order, and she said no, sorry, and got his order. She refilled our waters with pitchers full of what tasted like Sprite.

All that aside, the restaurant had GREAT food. The Rueben sliders were mouth-watering, the parm truffle fries were covered in cheese, the fish tacos needed some extra sauce but were crunchy and good. The cheeseburgers looked delish and they had a good-looking dessert menu, too.

I'd go back, the patio looked awesome but it was in the 90s and we enjoyed the air-conditioned inside this time.

This is a place to choose when you didn't make a reservation in time for anywhere else. Kind of the Applebee's of Lohi, with better beer.

We had a wonderful server who could have had a little more knowledge about the beer list, given the depth of the options available. He was eager to please and offered many tasters but couldn't explain differences or make recommendations based upon preferences. The food and view were outstanding. We will definitely return.

The incredible city view and great selection of craft beers persuaded us to bring our out of town family here for dinner. The food was good, however I believe I order the wrong item on the menu. The crab and shrimp hoagie was loaded with cheese so much so that it drowned out the flavor of the crab and shrimp. The other meals all looked great. We will definitely be back to give it another try.

Since the new chef came on the food can't be beat! I have tried so many different things and all are great. The crab cake appetizer is delicious and comes with a yummy succotash type thing.
the meat loaf is out of this world. The fish tacos are the best I have ever had.
There are lots of new summer drinks on the menu as well.
Super great spot.
Rooftop patio with a great view of downtown Denver

Loud tables, entrees came out less than 1 minute after the appetizers for which I commented but nothing was done to correct it. Great beers, limited menu featuring bar-type pub-grub. Tasty but limited. Bottom line: if this sounds like fun, you'll love it. For us (a party of 4), future place to go for beers and appetizers, not full meals.

The beer list here is great, and the view is not bad either! However, we were given the wrong seasonal beer list, and the beers we ordered were no longer available. I was impressed by the appetizers, they were tasty and presented very well. But, the entrees were incredibly disappointing comparatively: just not great quality and taste. Additionally, our service was incredibly slow, slightly rude, and just overall awkward and unwelcoming. We went here for a celebration, and the food and environment did not help us keep a happy celebratory mood. I had very high hopes, but sadly would not recommend.

A short walk from Union Station and Light Rail, which we always take when dining DT to avoid the hassle of traffic and parking. Noted for craft brews but also has a good wine list, which we all had. Upscale bar food - I had penne pasta with scrimp, which was delicious. One of the others had the fish and chips - also outstanding. Second time there, would definitely go back.

The artichoke and arugula dip was absolutely fabulous! After that l, I had the Smoked Blue Elk Burger. I now know that elk is a fairly dry meat (or it was prepared that way). It was tasty and very satisfying.

Not as expected. Waiter was Awsome and kind. But the food was very sad specially since it was just a simple steak salad and meatloaf with some veggies, felt like they came from a frozen bag. I wish we would have had a different persepective specially since we picked this place out for our 5th anniversary. Lesson learned will be redoing our anniversary dinner somewhere else.

We had reservations for 4 and were seated on time. Sat there for 30 minutes before we had to flag down a waitress. No one agnolaged or greeted us until we snagged someone walking by. Then the waitress seemed irritated to serve us. She did apologize and the service improved from there. The atmosphere was super noisy and could not hear each other to have a conversation. The food was pretty decent though. Would go back to sit in the bar area or patio.

The food is terrific. Better than standard pub fare. They are in a VERY popular part of town right now, but they actually put effort into their menu rather than just rely on having the hip spot. Free valet parking was super convenient. Beer drinkers will be happy. That is all I know about so please don't think it is a dig on the wine list. The best part, though, was the server. She was attentive, made suggestions, made conversation without being intrusive and even bought us a brownie. If the rest of the service staff is like her, GO there soon!

Thanks,
Brad Workman

We went here before the Avs and Blackhawks skated on New Year's Eve and it worked out perfectly for us. Food was good, service was solid, and we were in and out in plenty of time to see the first puck drop. They have a great beer selection.
