We were seated right on time for our reservation. However, once given our water, menus and bread service we waited 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Someone should have offered to take our wine order prior to the food order. We ordered our dinners and wine and the wine came fairly quick. We entered at 8:00 pm and our food came at 8:50 pm. The waiter was attentive after our food arrived but overall the kitchen service was slow. The food quality was very good and we will try again another time when they are better staffed.
Everything was great. Jusy wish the cook would remove the skin on salmon.
Alex was a terrific waiter! Everything we ordered was delicious.
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas for all the right reasons. Best steak and lobster in town.
We had an excellent experience here. Everyone from the host to our server Meryam did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend A&B to anyone.
The food is always good here. The service however, is extraordinary!! The ambiance is romantic and elegant. Almost forgot it was inside a Casino!!
The steak was tender and delicious, the Brussels sprouts were very flavorful with the addition of a special sauce and chopped pecans, potatoes were excellent. The dessert of pumpkin tiramisu was a first for us and it was great.
Great food and service, got a bottle of wine and it’s taste was definitely great.
Fillet minion is to die for.
The food was amazing, everyone in my party had steaks and was pleasantly surprised nice flavor and our waiter Justin was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to making final entree selections. Even the crab lump cake appetizer was delicious. Nicely priced for everything that we had, which included drinks.
The food was good. Nice restaurants Not too much noise. But the server was absolutely terrible. And had a confrontation with two elderly ladies at the table across from us. And just seemed to be in a very nasty mood no personality. I would recommend the restaurant. And I would try it again. But it's the same thing happened again. I would say no.
Great appetizers. Steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Delicious. Will definitely go back.
Were in Vegas on business was very happy with our experience with alder and birch. Food and service was excellent.
Food was good. Service was really bad.Three entree’s came out and I waited five to ten minutes for my pork chop to come out. Then minutes later are sides came out.Never again.
Great Steaks, and great Service. A great place for drinks and dining. Especially before a show.
Waiter congenial but very scarce particularly after food was served had to ask bus boy server for things sauces condiments and the little extras took awhile when we arrived no one at front desk to greet or as we departed on reservation.
Food: crab soup very fishy like warm Filet was grilled right but a bit tasteless I would say spice it up sea salt et al and blue cheese topping was not chunks but diluted sauce which was bland, lobster Mac was tasty but salty Brussel sprout good bit oily.
Didn’t have bottle of wine as requested but fill in red wine very good Frites dry and a bit Kool needs more truffle oil.
Expresso single was double more like coffee ☕️
I have been in many times I love Orleans overall (never loose 5$ Craps!)
First time in Las Vegas for my nephew he of course noticed no miss as he was hungry The cafe breakfasts are superb and the Asian restaurant was fun varied and great food
Take care improve the attention to detail and quality of meat with tasty!
See ya all soon!
Calm environment in the actual dining. Outside bar sitting area was much more boisterous. Great, friendly service. Very good salad wedge which was nicely split for us. Mildly spicy shrimp was quite good and came with a very generous portion. Rack of lamb was very good and also nicely split for us. Creme brûlée with champagne sorbet was good.
Food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection! Will definitely return.
Dinner and dessert was delicious. The service was fantastic. My water glass was never empty.
1) after making a table reservation for one; I was asked twice to sit at the bar where the only seat that was left was I believe the handicap area
2) Not the hostess but wait staff the I believe his name was Alan scoffed that I didn’t want to sit at the bar and pint blank said, then you can sit in the back
3) While it may have been an innocent remark once I got a table I get asked “you look. Ice tonight are you meeting someone”
Why did I have to meet anyone to look nice. Especially after it was made such a big deal to give me a table for one even after making a reservation for one.
The food was okay.... not anything to write home about. I’d have rather paid more to have better service and food.
Food was excellent as was the service. Server was nice enough to tell us that the sides are plenty big enough for sharing as we were ordering one side each. Glad we amended the order - she was right. Also liked the fact that the service was in no way rushed which sometimes happens in restaurants. We were given plenty of time to enjoy our meal leisurely.
Our server Rik was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant; offered his favorites of every portion of meal. The bread is delicious as is the creamed corn. Our party of 8 tried several of the sides which were great (corn, brusselsprouts, lobster Mac and cheese) as well as filets, strip steaks, lamb and the crab cake as an appetizer. We were way too full for dessert but everything sounded delicious. The ambiance was more than I expected for the location and prices were not unreasonable. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again on our next trip.
I really enjoy Alder and Birch. We have been there several times and have not been disappointed. The food & service is good and the prices are reasonable. But what makes Alder and Birch truly special is that we can have a conversation without having to raise our voices to be heard. There are very few nice restaurants that aren't loud and harsh anymore. We will definitely be back!
We found that the food was just average for the price that was charged. Our server, Alex I believe was his name, didn't seem very interested in being there. Bare minimum service from him. He asked us if it was our first time there, which it was, but never took the time to tell us that the sides you order actually have enough for more than one person. Based on this one time experience, I don't think that we'd return, or that we'd recommend the restaurant to anyone.
The food is spectacular! We have enjoyed A&B everytime we're in town.
We absolutely love eating here! The food is great and it's always so relaxing and inviting!
This was my 1st and probably last trip to this restaurant
It is a very nice building but I was not pleased with the food nor the service provided
Had the crab cakes to start which were good but only warm when they got to the table. Ordered a NY strip medium and it came out a perfect medium but it too was warm, not hot when it came to the table
Also was charged a $8 plate splitting fee for sharing a meal with my wife. HUH? I work in a fine dining restaurant and we don't charge to split entrees
Ona good note my margarita was stellar !!
The crab legs are the best in town. Ribeye steaks are good and had the perfect char on the outside that I like. Service was wonderful as the staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient.
Food was just so-so, short rib appetizer was great. I was dissppointed that two people on my party of 6 wanted to share a main course that they would self split, And we Were informed they would be $8 charge even if the kitchen didn't split it. This kind of soured the evening.
From what is perceived to be the type of meal in that venue the steak was tough.
Bread, scalloped potatoes were amazing- the chop salad was a generous portion. The service was outstanding.
From our greeting as we walked in to our goodbyes at the end of the night, the evening was wonderful.
The server was always checking on us. He made us feel as we were part of the family at the restaurant.
The food was all we expected, from the entrees to the sides, which serve more than one.
If you’ve never been to Alder & Birch, you need to go!
First time dining here. My rib eye steak did not meet expectations. Will try different cut next time.
We come to The Orleans twice a year and go to Alder Birch each visit. The food is great. The service is always great too.
absolutely recommend! food is outstanding and service is excellent! Thank you Justin!
Good food and great service consistently .
Best steak we have had in a long time. Service is excellent.. Great wine selection
Outstanding! Justin was our server. He did an amazing job keeping all nine people in our party happy without being obtrusive! The food was delicious. Everyone had something special. Alder & Birch was the perfect place to celebrate seeing old friends. Thank you.
Justin was great and provided great service as well as the team.
Great atmosphere. Excellent food, prepared as ordered. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Wine list has good wines at a good price. One of our favorites regardless of price.
