Alder & Birch
The food is spectacular! We have enjoyed A&B everytime we're in town.
We absolutely love eating here! The food is great and it's always so relaxing and inviting!
This was my 1st and probably last trip to this restaurant
It is a very nice building but I was not pleased with the food nor the service provided
Had the crab cakes to start which were good but only warm when they got to the table. Ordered a NY strip medium and it came out a perfect medium but it too was warm, not hot when it came to the table
Also was charged a $8 plate splitting fee for sharing a meal with my wife. HUH? I work in a fine dining restaurant and we don't charge to split entrees
Ona good note my margarita was stellar !!
The crab legs are the best in town. Ribeye steaks are good and had the perfect char on the outside that I like. Service was wonderful as the staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient.
Food was just so-so, short rib appetizer was great. I was dissppointed that two people on my party of 6 wanted to share a main course that they would self split, And we Were informed they would be $8 charge even if the kitchen didn't split it. This kind of soured the evening.
From what is perceived to be the type of meal in that venue the steak was tough.
Bread, scalloped potatoes were amazing- the chop salad was a generous portion. The service was outstanding.
From our greeting as we walked in to our goodbyes at the end of the night, the evening was wonderful.
The server was always checking on us. He made us feel as we were part of the family at the restaurant.
The food was all we expected, from the entrees to the sides, which serve more than one.
If you’ve never been to Alder & Birch, you need to go!
First time dining here. My rib eye steak did not meet expectations. Will try different cut next time.
We come to The Orleans twice a year and go to Alder Birch each visit. The food is great. The service is always great too.
absolutely recommend! food is outstanding and service is excellent! Thank you Justin!
Good food and great service consistently .
Best steak we have had in a long time. Service is excellent.. Great wine selection
Outstanding! Justin was our server. He did an amazing job keeping all nine people in our party happy without being obtrusive! The food was delicious. Everyone had something special. Alder & Birch was the perfect place to celebrate seeing old friends. Thank you.
Justin was great and provided great service as well as the team.
Great atmosphere. Excellent food, prepared as ordered. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Wine list has good wines at a good price. One of our favorites regardless of price.
We had a great experience. It was our first time at the restaurant and we’d go again. My husband had the salmon, it was a little fishy smelling, but he said it was good. We loved the cream corn! It was probably the best cream corn we’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Good. Nice atmosphere and decor. Great menu selection.
Food was fantastic and Heather our server was great.
We had fillets and they were a bit over done, Not what we have had in the past.
The food was wonderful. I would definitely go back. I loved the Cesar and filet
Although out of the way at the Orleans hotel and casino this was a hidden gem. Reasonable prices for Las Vegas, yet the quality of the food was excellent. Great steaks and sides. I’ll go back for sure next time I’m in Vegas. Excellent service!
Pork chop was tough, either over cooked, poor quality of meat or both. Steak was also tough & flavorless. Very loud group sitting right behind us also made the meal less than enjoyable. The creamed corn was good but the mushrooms & onions was mostly onions. Not an enjoyable evening for over $100.
Because we live in Las Vegas, we seldom eat at restaurants in casinos, preferring to go to the many other outstanding "free-standing" restaurants where smoking is not allowed. When we came into the casino (where smoking is allowed) I was concerned that the restaurant might be smoky, but it was not only perfectly fine, everything else about the experience was terrific. This is one place I'd go to again. One of the best filets I've ever had and the béarnaise sauce was fresh and perfect (not something that was spooned out of a can and heated before serving). Excellent.
Food and service was excellent. I had the halibut, and it was sooooo good. My husband had the pork chop and raved about it. Everything was wonderful. Wonderful date night.
A nice oasis in the midst of the Orleans casino. Our waiter, Justin and Maria were prompt and friendly. My wife loves the wild salmon, and it was prepared as requested. My steak was tender and delicious. The food and wine here are an excellent value. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. One of our favorite places in Vegas, regardless of price.
As a New York food snob, I certainly don't expect much from a steakhouse inside a "lower tier" Vegas casino. But this place delivers on ambiance, service, food and value. It's a respite from the noise and smoke just steps away. I literally would go out of my way to eat there the next time I'm in town -- something I never expected to say about a restaurant at The Orleans.
We are from out of town yet this is our 4th time eating here, our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. On all other visits I probably would have rated it 5 star all the way. On this visit the food was again excellent, the service from Heather and the other team members excellent but the ambiance was very disappointing. Happy Hour guests in the lounge well past the end of the Happy Hour that were obnoxiously loud. It was quite evident that they were being excessively over served. Obviously that is a serious issue and I hope they were hotel guests and not heading for the road after.
The real fault I believe lies with that evening's management for not intervening and ask them to quiet down or even better leave the lounge area. I am quite sure that other diners felt the same way. Perhaps they don't want to offend. Since we enjoy A&B so much I felt I needed to share my concern.
Even with what turned out to be disappointing experience we will definitely return on our next visit to Las Vegas.
was surprised that this hotel has the quality restaurant it is with among the elite of the very best steakhouses in las vegas
The food was fantastic. Our reservation was exactly what was requested. Heather was our server and did a perfect job.
This is a wonderful place for dinner. We had the Salmon and a filet. Our waiter was Ric and he did a fabulous job.
Heather are waitress was amazing. Good food and good service.
Good ambiance. Good food. Justin, our server and his assistant were great. I will definitely go back.
The place was charming & had a modern look to it. We all had steaks & they were cooked to perfection. The sides we chose were asparagus, truffle salt fries & baked potato with the works & a nice compliment to the steaks. Definitely will go again!
First time to Alder & Birch. Ambiance was very nice . Noise was minimal. Very nice environment. Food was very good. Server Ric was very nice . He made sure to check on us periodically to make sure that everything was cooked to our liking. Very pleased with his service! Overall very good restaurant. Would definitely Recommend!!!
I ordered the king crab legs and just want to say that I have never ever seen such hugh legs!!! I almost felt sorry for the crab that died for my dinner.
Ricks a great server!
Nice restaurant with good food and good service. I had the scallops and my husband had the short ribs.We shared both. We felt the prices were ok but the seafood was on the expensive side. The booths are very comfy and private.
We discovered this place last time we were in Vegas , we went to a show at The Orleans and noticed this beautiful looking restaurant. We had dinner there and it was fabulous so here we were two years later and had to come back for dinner and once again a great experience. Great value compared to similar dining elsewhere in town.
The food here is what steals the show. Really good and very reasonable price point for Las Vegas. It’s worth the short drive from the strip. When you enter the casino, it’s smoky and a little dated. Don’t let that bother you. When you step inside Alder and Birch, it’s a nice, upscale but not pretentious environment. Go for any of the steaks. Great preparation you’d pay a lot more for elsewhere
