About Alden Park Bar and Grill
Alden Park is a casual upscale restaurant featuring creative American cuisine. Stemming from Chef Brent"s expansive palate, our seasonal menu features an array of classic dishes with a current, fresh twist.
The modern and inviting interior, designed by the acclaimed Steve Todisco, blends a mix of straight lines with flowing curves. Your eyes will be drawn up to the vaulted ceilings by the large archways, highlighted by metallic blue, sea green, and warm brown tones. In the middle of it all stands the eye catching bar area, with its white bar top contrasting a dark wood facade, and topped off with a cool blue halo. Outside on the private patio, the expansive space focused around a water/fire pit is great for functions or a quiet dinner with drinks in our oasis.
Whether out for intimate dinner for 2, late night drinks, or seeking the perfect spot for a function, Alden Park offers the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.

Alden Park Bar and Grill Ratings and Reviews
We were celebrating a family birthday, I checked the menu online because the guest of honor is a fussy eater. The online menu had ONE thing that he loves and the rest of the menu sounded interesting. So out of all the restaurants in Plymouth we picked Alden Park. First I need to say your signage is not good at night, especially if you did not know the front of the building is lite blue. After being seated we find out that one menu item is no longer on the menu. BUMMER! I will say the food was good and portions we bountiful. But recommend online information be kept updated.
I was surprisingly delighted with the place - we had a group of 7 (incl. a 2 year old) and were able to find a table. Not my preference for a Saturday night but great for a Sunday afternoon meal with a varied menu. Our waiter was very attentive and took great care of us.
We have eaten at Alden several time before. We were extremely disappointed this visit. The pork chops were raw and by the time they came back out the rest of the party was done eating and the rest of the food that was served with the pork chops were cold. Cancelled the second wine order to way to long to be served.
We visited this establishment in the past, and brought friends here for this occasion. We've been seated in the exact same location each time we've visited this place, so....not really sure what that is all about. The food was excellent! Tasty, well presented, served to temp, and well presented. the cost was a bit high, but worth the price. Our server, Sam, was excellent, as usual......as she is also the same server we're had each time we've visited. I would definitively recommend this to friends.
Normally I would recommend this restaurant. However, this visit they were out of quite a few menu items, even though we arrived at 6:00. 3 out of the 4 of us ordered seafood and all 3 got diarrhea that night. It will be a while before we return. Which is sad, since this was always one of our favorite restaurants.
My husband and I went here last weekend. Everything was quiet which was odd considering it was labor day weekend but was actually nice for me and my husband and made it more of a romantic setting for us. Our waiter was extremely nice and very hospitable. I ordered the lamb special which was delicious.
It came with Brussels sprouts which I was looking forward to, but my expectation was quickly outlived when the waiter came over to our table indicating that there were no more Brussels sprouts. I had the choice of another green which I chose broccolini which was very good. My husband ordered the ribeye but seemed to get a filet mignon instead. They must have run out of that as well, but there was no heads up to him that he would be getting that instead. My husband is not picky and enjoyed it nonetheless but was looking forward to the ribeye. We ordered the dessert sampler which was really good but one of the desserts they did not have and that was indicated to us and we had the choice of choosing another one. Obviously they had a busy weekend with it being labor day, just not sure why the ribeye was not mentioned. All in all it was a great experience. The staff, the ambiance, the food, the quality. If we ever visit Plymouth again we will definitely be visiting Alden Park!
I was excited about trying this place but other than the service I would not recommend. The grilled caesar was so charred we couldn't eat part of it and the marinated tomatoes on top were over dressed and way too much thyme. The Mac and cheese side looked delicious and was served nice and hot but was tasteless. Good attempt for options for kids with the pigs in a blanket but over cooked and dry.
We had planned to get together with friends and it was my turn to pick the location. My wife and I dine frequently at Alden Park and suggested that to our friends who as it turns out had never been there. We were able to sit outside in the courtyard to enjoy the beautiful summer night. I tend to get the same items each time I go however, this time I asked the Server about the "Black n Blue Rib Eye Filet". He described it in great detail and said it was one of the most popular items and highly recommended it. I went with it and I was not disappointed - it was delicious!
Others in the party had the "Filet Mignon", "Bacon and Scallop Pasta" and the "Stuffed Meatloaf". All meals were great and our Server, Louie C was awesome!
Excellent food and atmosphere, and the service was friendly and efficient. Being a professionally trained chef, I thought the food was excellent, but lacked a bit on salt, although understandable. Our server Sam, was fun and pleasant. She didn't hover, but we wanted for nothing! Great place for lunch, dinner and drinks!
Alden Park was an excellent find! It took several trips around the parking lot to find it, but once we did, it was wonderful! Sam, our server, was wonderful as well. I gave three options for a drink, and she picked the perfect one. We ordered several appetizers to share, and got so full, we couldn't order dinner, but we did order dessert, which was also wonderful. We decided to return the next day to try the dinner menu, and had just as exceptional an experience. I would definitely recommend this location to others, the un-assuming front, does not reveal the quality of the food, friendliness of the staff, or the depth of the dining experience!
Located in a shopping center with lots of smaller stores, you walk into a modern, sleek, open space that is half upscale bar with stools and half restaurant with local photographs for sale on the walls. There is a wide variety of interesting cocktails.
For appetizers, we got the Deviled Eggs with the light whipped egg yolks balancing the pulled pork on top and the Baked Brie wrapped in layers of filo dough and grilled flatbread with sweet chutney and arugula. Both were delicious as was the complementary bread and special garlic butter. The Yellowfin tuna was perfectly cooked atop a bed of wasabi mashed potatoes (perfectly seasoned) with layers of cucumber and carrots and a soy glaze. The salmon encrusted with light and dark sesame seeds was large and good. The Black and Bleu Ribeye was good except it came coated in a lot of pepper. The desserts were good and several came in the small shot glass size as well.
Michelle our server had a great sense of humor and took great care of us, even with a number of special requests. It was not too busy for a Thursday night, July 4th week, so it was a great time to go.
This dinner was one of the best dinners we have had in Plymouth. We normally go to East Bay or Issacs but we will be coming back to Alden Park in the future.
The expansive bar is the best part - pretty boring looking once you get past the bar - not what is expected since entrance looks very modern and even high end. The outdoor seating is not inviting at all and faces a fence mostly. My spouse's martini and entree were very good - but I must have been unlucky. Risotto had good amount of vegetables but was salty overall. Strawberry basil margarita was mostly basil and sour mix. We heard a lot of great things but unfortunately were underwhelmed - and prices were pretty high.
Went here for a late lunch and while the restaurant was just about empty we had to search for someone to seat us. Food was excellent so decided to go for dinner. Big mistake. Waitress brought us a bottle of chardonnay that we orders but did not bring us a container to keep it cool. had to ask the manager for a container. Waitress took our order for appetizers and main meal and then returned to tell us that somethings that were ordered were not available. We waited over an hour for entrees to be deliverd. Waitress brought us special bread but we had no bread plates to place it on. Food was very good but because of such poor service we will not go again and will not recommend this restaurant.
We would never recommend this restaurant or go back. First clue should of been that we didn't have any trouble getting last minute reservations. We were seated in the quiet side of the restaurant then we had to be moved to another location on the other side of the restaurant which was very noisy so they could make room for a large party. No problem other than we had our elderly parents with us that have trouble walking . We were told we'd get free desserts. We all the food was cold the waitress was too busy chatting it up with another table to pay attention to us and they only gave us credit for one dessert not 4.
Two thumbs up overall for the entree selections - Mac/Cheese w/lobster and a cheeseburger. The latter is probably one of the best burgers I've eaten. Cooked to perfection and warm till the very last bite. We would definitely return to this restaurant again if we are in the Plymouth area.
