   Very disappointed on this occasion . Breakfast was not upto the required standard . Team dealt with issues but would rather have not had to make an issue as was treating dad 😥

   Great good in a lovely restaurant with a nice ambience. Prices seem to have gone up steeply though recently.

   We have eaten at Albert's in Didsbury and Standish many times..it's one of our favourite places to eat. Well, it was. This was awful from start to finish. The service was very ordinary. We sat outside and the experience was more.like being in a whacky warehouse than a restaurant.. I'm all up for family dining, but this was something else. When the starters eventually came they were very ordinary. I mean how can you mess up a prawn cocktail? Anyway, having had enough of someone else's kids throwing toys at us, we asked if we could move inside. There were no tables in the restaurant (which is fair enough it was Sunday and it was busy) so we sat in the bar area.... And we sat... And sat... An hour later, and having asked where our food was there times half the mains turned up. No potatoes, none of the sides we had ordered. We eventually got those half an hour into our mains.. and they were terrible too! And then, there was the truffle cauliflower cheese normally.. One of my favourites... Only I normally like mine cooked.. and with truffle ... and cauliflower ...oh, and cheese..! They comped us the sides and a drink each. Which was something, I guess. But the excuse was they'd switched to a new menu and they were busy..... I know how menu handovers get managed... That's not an excuse for a professional restaurant! And if you can't handle all those covers, reduce them! It was embarrassing. I couldn't be bothered arguing. We just wanted it to be over. I come from a family that owns restaurants. Dad and brother are both chefs. We can all cook. Even our kids could cook better than this...! I'm not a food snob. I know it can be hard to turn stuff out consistently well, and so I'll give some latitude.. but you almost have to work at being this bad... It was just shocking! I don't know what went wrong.. I guess you can survive being this bad on the East Lancs, but if you turned that rubbish out in Didsbury, you'd be shut in a month. Sort it out...!

   Amazing venue, the food was superbly cooked and seasoned perfectly, service and ambience were both top tier. Extra points would have been for live entertainment as that would have been the cherry on the cake but we had a really great night and will definitely be back.

    It was very nice. The only comment I had sea bass and only got 1 fillet which is disappointing as most restaurants serve two.
