We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. Albert's Worsley provides a slick, modern space with dining for 180 guests inside and features a fabulous outside dining terrace for 60.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday are also open for breakfast.

    The Ellesmere Room located on the first floor, it is named after the cinema that occupied the site many years ago. The Ellesmere is a modern, design led space which can be used for anything from wedding ceremonies to christenings. It can accommodate up to 120 for dining to 200 for parties. It has its own dedicated entrance, private bar and a private heated and covered terrace. All our menus are designed and cooked by the chefs in albert’s, so you can rest assured the food will be as outstanding as our event space. Situated on the ground floor of our main restaurant, The Harold Riley room is perfect for private lunches or dinners or drinks receptions. The private dining room can accommodate up to 40 people and also features its own heated terrace which is the perfect alfresco area in which to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or to let the outside in during the summer months!

    The food is very good, however the staff forgot to bring our sharing starter which meant waiting 45 minutes to eat. Having said that, the staff are very pleasant and apologised for missing the starter and gave us a free dessert each.

    Been going to Albert’s in Worsley since it opened . Always love spending time there . The food , the ambience , the service , the decor all outstanding . The Sunday dinner is the best , you would struggle to find somewhere better. Great job . Keep It Up Alberts One Very Happy Customer Candice Derbyshire x

    The restaurant was packed. We were treated with great courtesy and compensated for the delay in receiving our meal (because of the huge demand) with complimentary free drinks. The food was tasty and very well presented. The bill for a table of eight was reasonable and less than I would have expected. Worth a return!

    Lovely setting, unfortunately food was not up to par. Soggy pizza, with a burnt bottom. I eat my food whilst my partner was waiting for a replacement. When his food came it wasn’t as bad but it was still very soggy. But he couldn’t be bothered waiting/complaining again because I’d already eat my food. There was no offer of a discount or complementary drink whilst waiting for his food to be redone. Although we did end up ordering two drinks whilst waiting. They charged full price until I asked for it to be discounted at the end as the food was below standard. It wasn’t as if it was anything complicated. He had ordered a chicken pizza! My roast dinner was very nice but I wanted to eat with my partner, not before him.

    We went to Alberts to celebrate a 60th Birthday. We wanted to have balloons and a cake and rang in the morning to see if these could be dropped off so it was a surprise for the recipient, however on contacting the restaurant we were informed this couldn’t be facilitated though we have done this in the past. In fact the person contacted was quite rude and extremely unhelpful. Another person in our party brought these separately just before the recipient arrived, so no thanks to that member of staff, the element of surprise was achieved. The service in the restaurant was good and Aga our waitress for the evening was helpful and attentive. The food was excellent and this part of the experience was enjoyable. Alberts need to understand that it is the overall experience that people remember and the person spoken to in the morning spoiled that. The Hospitality Sector is a major outlet to celebrate these milestones and though I understand not every request can be catered for there are ways and means of facilitating some requests without the need to be rude, politeness costs nothing. In a struggling sector you would think all the stops would be pulled out to create an overall customer experience.

    Enjoyed our experience, the only disappointment was no fish and chips on the menu on Saturday after 3,our booking was 4pm,the fish and chips are always a favourite due to the quality of the fish and the cooking ,with regards value for money it is on the pricey side but it's clean and the staff/service are good but I would class the drinks as extremely overpriced ,all things considered we will be returning.
