Los dueños de este lugar abrieron el primer restaurante en el 2004 en Castlefield, Manchester con un objetivo claro: Servir alimentos de calidad a clientes locales por un precio razonable, en un lugar elegante, mediante un servicio amable y modesto. Han mantenido ese objetivo desde entonces y gracias a ello se han ganado la fidelidad de muchos clientes. El menú puede ser clasificado como británico con algunos de los platillos favoritos de Italia y alrededor del mundo. El nuevo restaurante será creado de lo que anteriormente solía ser el New Ellensmere pub y restaurante, en el East Lancashire Road, y busca brindar un espacio moderno e impecable para cenar, con capacidad para 180 comensales dentro del restaurante, y también contará con una terraza en la que puede recibir hasta 60 personas.

    The Ellesmere Room located on the first floor, it is named after the cinema that occupied the site many years ago. The Ellesmere is a modern, design led space which can be used for anything from wedding ceremonies to christenings. It can accommodate up to 120 for dining to 200 for parties. It has its own dedicated entrance, private bar and a private heated and covered terrace. All our menus are designed and cooked by the chefs in albert’s, so you can rest assured the food will be as outstanding as our event space. Situated on the ground floor of our main restaurant, The Harold Riley room is perfect for private lunches or dinners or drinks receptions. The private dining room can accommodate up to 40 people and also features its own heated terrace which is the perfect alfresco area in which to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or to let the outside in during the summer months!

    As usual a lovely bustling atmosphere . The staff are always friendly and happy. The only criticism was that fish and chips wasn't on the menu!

    Hi Joan, Thank you for your kind review highlighting the great atmosphere and friendly service we all work really hard to provide this so it means a lot that you picked up on it! Our fish and chips are available as part of our lunchtime set menu (two courses for £15.95 or three courses for £19.95) served Tuesday to Friday from 12-5pm and Saturdays from 12:30-3pm.     Really nice place, outdoor seating, some covered some uncovered, couldn’t really pick a fault. Really really good, great service and great food. Friendly, will have to visit again when I’m over that way

    Table booked for 6.30, ordered food and drink by 6.40, got served at 7.40! And we left most of the food

    Tbh the menu is not what it was?? Why so little choice? No “light” meals as salad etc. the bowl that was on there is not everyone’s cup of tea? I would’nt have it because of what was in it. No Fish and Chips on main menu ? Always been on main as well as meal deal offer. The other thing for the price why do you not provide vegetables with dishes? Got to buy separate! I’m sorry not impressed. I enjoyed my meal but myself and others said we won’t be back for a While or until you sort the menu you out.

    Been many times before and to be fair it has been very good. This time however was poor, the food was awful we order the nourish bowl with sticky chicken besides being the smallest amount of chicken it was bone dry and very hard as though they we had the left over scraps and tasted strange. One of our friends ordered a pizza and asked for no jalapeños on, it arrived with load of them hidden within the rest of the topping. The service was ridiculously slow even though the restaurant was not busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff around. To be fair we complained and the main dishes were taken off the bill. Like I said we've been many times before and been happy just seems like they were having an off day all round.

    We eat at Albert’s frequently and once again the food was excellent served on warm plates by smiling welcoming staff - undoubtedly 5 stars

    We were put on a small table for two either side of a diner style barrier towards the back of the restaurant. My wife faced the front of the restaurant whilst my view was a corridor to the hotel, kitchen and disabled toilet. My seat was by a seat in the outer circle of a booth and I felt as though the occupant was almost sat on my lap. Whilst the food and service were ok, I feel that the restaurant was more like a conveyer belt experience opposed to a fine dining experience.
