We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. Albert's Worsley provides a slick, modern space with dining for 180 guests inside and features a fabulous outside dining terrace for 60.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday are also open for breakfast.

The Ellesmere Room located on the first floor, it is named after the cinema that occupied the site many years ago. The Ellesmere is a modern, design led space which can be used for anything from wedding ceremonies to christenings. It can accommodate up to 120 for dining to 200 for parties. It has its own dedicated entrance, private bar and a private heated and covered terrace. All our menus are designed and cooked by the chefs in albert’s, so you can rest assured the food will be as outstanding as our event space. Situated on the ground floor of our main restaurant, The Harold Riley room is perfect for private lunches or dinners or drinks receptions. The private dining room can accommodate up to 40 people and also features its own heated terrace which is the perfect alfresco area in which to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or to let the outside in during the summer months!

The restaurant is nice and the staff were efficient and friendly. The food was very mediocre, from our group of five no one was particularly impressed. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and find the standard of food very hit and miss.

We had a lovely meal following our legal marriage at the local town hall. Service was brilliant and the food was devine. The lunch set menu is great value for money and the wine offering is 2nd to none. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal at Albert’s on Tuesday 19th September. Service was excellent and our waiter Marcin was helpful and attentive. The food was really good and the three courses for £18.95 was excellent value for money. It’s a lovely venue with a great ambience. It was extremely busy for a Tuesday afternoon so I’d advise booking in advance. Will definitely go again.

The food I did order was great however there was next to no choice but they do display the small menu online so you can’t really complain. The outdoor seating was lovely, heaters all around & it was just a really chilled vibe BUT sitting outside means the service will be considerably slower eg, waiting a very long time before starter and main, getting very few drinks because nobody visited other than to take the plates. Would I go again? If there was an expansion on the menu yes, otherwise no — this is simply down to preference

We travelled around an hour to Albert's after it was recommended. We were not disappointed. Very reasonably priced food. Food was 5 star. Will definitely return. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He made sure we weren't without drinks and cleared the table promptly.

We booked a lunch time table on the Saturday morning we wanted to visit. The staff were excellent from the moment we entered. We were served by Jasmine who was lovely. She was really nice to talk to and very efficient. We opted for the two course lunch which was very reasonable. We both had a chicken caesar salad starter and the bacon chop main . Both very tasty. Not big portions but certainly enough for us. I love this restuarant , never had a bad meal and the staff are always attentive.

Great service and fantastic food. I had booked for 5 people but another person joined at short notice. Chloe, our server quickly and happily set another place setting. We have eaten here before and as always the food was well flavoured and well cooked. Everyone rated the food they had 5* Very clean restaurant and toilets. Highly recommended.

Had an overall lovely Lunch with a friend. Food was delicious and tasty. The service was excellent, didn’t feel rushed to order or to depart after meal. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean and sets the ambience for a relaxing and enjoyable ‘time out’ with friends or family.

From the start the welcome was friendly, the staff very attentive, we were seated immediately even though we'd arrived earlier than our booking. All the items on the menu sounded/looked amazing. We went for the Lancashire cheese pie and the fillet steak. Both cooked to perfection with a selection of delicious sides. Service throughout was great. Can't wait to book in again

We all went to celeabrate someones life.... and we all opted for steak and chips... 2 were ordered 'medium' and 1 'medium rare' - all of them were pretty much medium rare... not much pepercorn sauce in the tiny jug - and NOT veg at all - it needed to be ordered seperate to the steak and chips.... so it was £126.00 for 3 x Steak and Chips, 1 x child Pasta, 2 cocktails and 1 coke. I think you pay more for the surroundings rather than the food...

We have been to Alberts mangy times and never once have we had cause to complain about anything , and last night was no exception, the food was amazing, and we treated ourselves to a couple of cocktails which were lovely ,the staff are excellent, the restaurant is always spotlessly clean , definitely my favourite restaurant

We were wonderfully looked after by our table waitress Jayne We were allowed to take our time on ordering each course which is often forgotten about in some restaurants The food for each course was presented beautifully and also each course was delicious Would recommend this restaurant to all my friends as it was a delight to eat there
