We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Didn’t have a great experience in this restaurant- we went for a big celebration, one of our diners had undercooked chicken which the chef said was ‘just the temperature it was cooked at’ which is why it looked pink, tender and undercooked and frankly unappealing, felt like it was dismissed quite quickly. The service was mainly good and we were offered another option and for it to be struck off the bill at the end, but nonetheless is disappointing properly cooked chicken is an essential when paying those kind of prices. The sea bass was a bit sparse. The drinks were quite nice which was a positive.

Excellent experience for my lil sisters birthday! Good attention from staff, not invasive and not ignored, just he right amount. Food excellent. Very happy!

Set menu very good value. Staff really friendly. Steak was a bit more cooked than I would have liked, I was told I could have pink, well done or really well done, not medium or medium rare!

Been going here for years and still enjoy it but like other places it has changed probably due to the economy I’d still say the set lunch menu is very good value and yesterday the Steak Frites was one of the best we’d had However the price of wine has rocketed and there is no longer house wine That said to sit outside having lunch watching the would go by there’s no better place

I’ve been to Albert’s in Manchester more times than I can count, but this Sunday’s chicken dinner was one of the best they’ve ever served. It’s hands down my favourite spot for a Sunday roast.

Really enjoyed our meal. Great vibe. It was the Manchester 10k and very busy , so glad we had booked a table in the terrace. Even though it was a sunny afternoon, we appreciated the patio heaters as the sun didn’t come around until later. Lovely food. My salad bowl was one of the best I’ve had . Ryan was a really lovely waiter. All in all , we’ll be back.
