With a superb location in Manchester City Centre, near all major transport links, complimentary on site parking and the highest levels of service and cuisine, the Castlefield Rooms are the perfect venue to hold your wedding, corporate event or party. We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Whichever space you decide on you will have our dedicated Events Team on hand to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your event.

    Our reservation was for 6:30pm, and we did not get our meals until 8:15pm. It was a party of 7 and while not a small group, it was also not a large group. My steak and broccoli tasted like it was kept warm (barely) under a heat lamp. It wasn't fresh and lacked flavor. My colleagues also had varying experiences with the taste of their food. I understand that it was a bank holiday and the restaurant was understaffed but it was a poor experience. Unfortunately, the guests from my group are from the US and India so we won't have an opportunity to try this restaurant again.

    Overall a nice experience but wouldn’t recommend. Especially on a weekend. Maybe a weekday lunch would be better. We were a group of 10 and had a nice meal, of a good standard, we were asked to leave the table approx 2.5 hours after our booking time which is understandable on a busy Saturday night but we still had drinks and there is nowhere else to accommodate this. We ended up sitting outside on the terrace which had a very tense atmosphere with lots of young groups “hanging around” no purchasing drinks or food. Whilst sat outside we also noticed the table inside was never used for anyone else for the remainder of the night. A bit frustrating. The staff were helpful and the food was good overall. I live close to another Albert’s chain and much prefer there mainly for the clientele and atmosphere.

    The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and Ryan was very polite & courteous and had a lovely smile. I will definitely be returning.

    Had the most amazing experience; staff were fabulous, so attentive and efficient, could not do enough for us!! Really lovely ambience too with a great atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Food was stunning; ate off the lunchtime menu where the offers were very reasonable. Will definitely be returning - thank you.

    We had a lovely afternoon have done all four Albert's and each one is as good as each other. We always feel welcome in each one. Just one problem with Albert's shed they don't do Brooklyn's non alchahol beer which my Husband always enjoys.

    I booked at table at Albert’s for lunch with friends. The service was excellent and I requested a break between courses to give us time to chat. The food we ordered was good and we weren’t disappointed with our choices. We had a lovely afternoon and there was no sense that we were being rushed by the staff.
