   Perfect start to the day - waiter was great, catered for us brilliantly and wasn’t over-bearing, letting us enjoy a family breakfast together.

   Amazing food and ambience. Really very lovely for brunch - would highly recommend. The food was excellent and the children loved the hanging pancakes - great to find a nice place that keeps everyone happy. Thanks!

   Extremely well appointed indoor and outdoor space with friendly attentive staff who are clearly well trained. The standard menu items of pizza and burgers are really great and there is a good children’s menu. However, we were disappointed by some of the more adventurous items on the menu.

   We ordered from the lunch time special 2 course menu and there wasn't a great deal of choice but definitely enough to choose from. The food was superb and beautifully presented. All staff that served us were polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting.

   Albert's has always been my favorite restaurant until the last experience. It was my suggestion to have my Belated birthday Meal at Albert's, when we were given the menu, we were delighted to to be told that the Sunday roast was available on the Bank holiday night, at £60 sharing, my friends raised the query of would the roast dinner be left overs from Sunday, I actually laughed out load at their silly suggestions, this was Albert's, that's not possible, even if it was left over stock, it will be freshly cooked. I wish I had kept mum, when the platter came, I was horrified to see the burnt Yorkshire puddings, the dried and over cooked lamb rump and beef rump, the roast potatoes were rock hard round the edges, and the gravy was very watery and didn't taste of anything. My friend's missus had ordered a lamb rump meal which was succulent and sweet, the pizza meal was brilliant too, but my other friend's seared tuna was so well done that we jokingly suggested as pan fried. If there wasn't such a hugh comparison to the 5 star excellent quality, we wouldn't have dared to even suggest that our £60 sharing roast meal could be left overs. Overall a bit disappointed, and now not sure if I would dare to suggest Albert's again for further celebration meals.

   Hello Hayley, I'm really happy to her that we are your favourite restaurant but somewhat distraught that your sharing roast was not anywhere near as good as it should have been. Everything is made fresh again on the Monday when we offer roasts, it just sounds like yours wasn't to the quality we demand of ourselves so I am sorry. Please, if you book again, please ask for Simon (me) so we can discuss your last visit in more detail.
