One of the waitresses (the one that issued our bill - you can check the CCTV to identify when our table/bill was closed), has been passively aggressively rude. I asked to pay in cash to which she informed us the restaurant doesn't take cash, according to their rules. Fair enough, it's within the restaurant's right to chose the payment methods. Initially, I wanted to pay the service charge as well, in cash. But since the waitress, and the restaurant as a whole, did not put any effort in providing the extra cash service, I decided to remove the service charge if paying with the card. The moment the waitress heard I want to remove the service charge, she started to roll her eyes, make all sort of annoyed gestures, throw the new bill on the table, throw the card machine on the table with nor verbal communication, throw the receipt on the table with no communication again, started banging all our plates and turn ignorant to anything else besides the bare minimum for payment. We then left and thanked her, and she rolled her eyes again and didn't bother to reply. The only reason I'm bothering to levave a review is because I own several restaurant as well, and I know how such toxic employees can impact the culture of the restuarant and the team as a whole. The restaurant is doing a good job, in general, but such employees are losing the restaurant customers.

The evening was spoiled by a selfish couple 'VAPING' on the terrace. Each time the server came they stopped. Having their 'Vape' smells over our food spoiled the taste. Our server Connor was great. So attentive and caring. Definitely will not stop me eating here again.

Hi David, Thanks for leaving us your feedback, I can only apologised we missed the culprits, if you'd let one our team know we could've fixed this for you. I'm pleased it hasn't put you off returning and I'm sure Connor will be thrilled also. See you next time :)

Parking limited at busy times, stressful. It’s about time Albert’s changed their meat supplier!! Steak frites always tough, sinus throughout, rib eye steaks same issue. Even the fillet mignon was below standard! The menu is very limited. £35.20 for Cloud Factory Sauvignon blanc is tantamount to extortion when it retails for £10.85 and even less wholesale. And before some smart Alec responds that’s the wrong price- NO IT ISN’T not when you include the 10% service charge. If you order a large glass (250ml) then the price goes up to the equivalent of £39.60 a bottle!!! After several complaints about the temperature of the wine I have automatically ordered a pint of ice to cool the wine down to an acceptable temperature because I know it’s going to be too warm!!! Which is a cardinal sin in my view! Albert’s food standards are in inexorable and steadily decline as I have as experienced following recent visits! Albert’s have even succeeded in upsetting my grandchild by removing the chocolate brownies from the children’s sundae and the size is substantially smaller but the price had risen to 4.75 . Used to be £3.50. What cheap skates!! The manager and Lucy, the part owner of Albert’s need to visit Canteena in Sale to sample how good food should taste and take note of more realistic prices and not to take advantage of being located in a ‘posh’ location such as Didsbury. While we are on the subject of locations, I would like to inform you that “Albert’s Worsley” is located in Swinton which you must have thought that Albert’s cannot be associated with such a riff raff area. Shame on you!!! I bet the people of Swinton are not happy!! As you may have gathered I have had it with this chain of restaurants. It look awhile but I have finally taken to writing this negative review following many face to face complaints.

Lovely food and prompt service with a smile by Connor Will definitely be back. Was nice and chilled until about 10 kids and parents came in who thought it was ok for kids to run up and down seats! Thankfully we were finished. I know kids can be excitable and most were good but running along seats. No
