About Alberto's on Fifth
Chef Alberto Varetto creates the finest in contemporary Northern Italian cuisine.
His culinary interpretations emphasize seasonal ingredients, while creatively respecting the great traditions of Italian gastronomy.
The glory of Italian cooking is fresh ingredients, served at their peak, and handled in a way that flatters, rather than masks, their personalities.

Alberto's on Fifth Ratings and Reviews
We had a fabulous meal here, and the food and eventually the wine were great. The service was only so so and could have been better! Wanted Rose, none of the three options on the wine list were available and the one we were offered was awful! We were then recommended a white which was very good but $20 more than the price point we were originally choosing
Loved the food! The sea bass was out of this world, as were the mussels. Recommended by friends from Ohio and we were not disappointed. Loved the authentic Italian menu having just traveled there with the folks we took to Alberto's. Made us feel like we were back in Italy. Thanks for a delicious dinner.
For a $24 price fix I feel like they are giving it away. Seven dollars to for glass of Chardonnay is simply spectacular. In New York where The three of us would have had a bill at least double in size with the food not even as good as Alberto’s. We have been there many times and the key is the owner is always present and sometimes welcomes you himself. Gem of a place
The best early dining in Naples for quality and price. Always friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. Good Spanish wines for early dining menu, instead of cheap bad wines at most all other restaurants. Many selections instead of the usual 3-5 choices. Food has always been consistently excellent, except this time the strip steak was very fatty and chewy. That is why my 4 star overall rating instead of my usual 5 stars across the board.
We went for the early bird menu. What a great selection. We had a green salad and a beet salad with shrimp as appetizers. For entrees we had salmon and the spinach ravioli. This menu came with a glass of house wine - 4 choices - and both that we chose were quite good. Yummy!!! Everything was delicious.
