Very good customer service. Server went into detail which I appreciated since i was new To the restaurant. My only suggestion was that the restaurant should start selling wine by the bottles since we did not get a lot for the price for the glass.
great service, good food, nice atmosphere
We had a wonderful dinner at Al Tiramisu. Thank you for plating for my mother in law. Very good food and excellent service.
The food is amazing. Beautifully and freshly prepared. Great bar and great service. Best Italian food in DC.
Restaurant week - disappointing and I wouldn’t return to try the main menu. Several empty tables but felt the meal was very rushed and they want a quick turn around with customers in and out. Food had very good portions sizes but the quality wasn’t there.
Avoid at all costs. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. They are rushing you out at every spoon you are taking. The food is terrible. And it is very pricy.
I had never been to Al Tiramisu, but I cannot wait to go back! The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. I think I’ve finally found excellent Italian in DC.
I was fairly disappointed with the restaurant week deal food. Both of our mains (the pasta dish and the chicken one) were just average. Honestly, tasted like an average dish you’d make at home (which is exactly what I hope to not feel when I dine out). Not good, not bad food. The service was very good though.
Wonderful experience! Everything was delicious and service excellent!
Al Tiramisu continues to be one of our favorite DC restaurants. Menu includes well prepared standard fare, as well as interesting daily specials. Wine list spans a range of prices and offerings from different regions of Italy. Tables are spaced well in the cozy dining room. Service is attentive and professional.
Had the linguine with lobster. Sauce was excellent! Great service start to finish!
Consistently good and fresh food. A bit pricey, but servers are great and it never disappoints every time we are in town.
Excellent food, service and ambiance! An all-time favorite experience.
Cozy setting and unbelievable pasta. Dessert - the flourless chocolate almond cake - was amazing. Excellent food.
It is always a great experience from the food to the service!!
Great authentic Italian restaurant. The food was excellent all the way to the super chocolate mousse. Lobster pasta, Burrata, outstanding grilled octopus…. This restaurant feels like being in Italy with a good friendly service. We brought our own wine. Corkage was 35$.
Lovely evening at Al Tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent . Very popular place .
We’ve love Al Tiramisu and have celebrated special occasions here. The food and service are always excellent! We feel that we’re in Italy every time we dine here. Thank you for the amazing experience and wonderful service! We look forward to coming back!
Great food and service as always. Great relaxed atmosphere. Food was very quick to arrive to the table even though the place was full.
I have said it before, but if you want a true sense of how food is prepared and served in a small, Italian trattoria, this is the place.
The food is amazing and the service outstanding. I wish it were a little less noisy but everything else was great.
Worthy of its Michelin red guide review. I never looked at the menu--had the daily specials starter to dessert, and the recommended paired wine.
Excellent service enjoyed the meal.
Wonderful food, excellent service. Very noisy due to a large party which shortened our stay a bit. Normally, noise level is fine
This has to be one of my favorite meals of all time. We are from St. Louis, known for The Hill (condensed number of top notch Italian restaurants), Al Tiramisu blew every one of those restaurants out of the water. I started with a half order of the gnocci, it just melted in my mouth. The texture was phenomenal. Then I had the sea bass which was grilled perfectly. Not over seasoned so you got the true taste of the fish. We ended up splurging on three desserts because we couldn't decide, the passion fruit custard, frozen zabaglione and the tiramisu. All I can say, is splurge. Their desserts are out of this world.
The service was phenomenal. And the atmosphere was wonderful. I wish we were in DC longer because I would definitely go back.
the veal ragu is outstanding as is the tiramisu
My husband loves this place and we went for Father’s Day. He now agrees we do t need to go back. The food lacks flavor and at times too oily. He did get the spaghetti and meatballs which were good. Everything else from appetizers to entrees were not good.
Our favorite Italian restaurant in the DC area. The pasta is superb, the fish is fresh and delicious, the waiters very friendly and solicitous. For dessert, as you might expect, the tiramisu is the best. Although it's slightly cramped, I would say that provides an atmosphere of intimacy.
We went for my husband's birthday dinner and it was lovely. Great food and service in a very charming location. Yes the space is small, so it's probably not best for big parties but for a date night it's perfect! Had the octopus and lobster special.
All the food was excellent, and the octopus (often chewing at places) was tender and flavorful - the best I have ever had!
Al Tiramisu never disappoints. The food, staff, atmosphere, etc. are always consistently excellent and I visit the restaurant at least once if not twice every time I am in DC on business.
Great food, wonderful server and friendly customers. Will visit again when we return to Georgetown.
Our favorite cozy delicious Italian in DC.
This restaurant was a diamond find. The service is awesome. Very attentive to detail. We had the fresh catch (bronzini). The appetizers of lamb prosciutto and soft shell crabs were excellent. Finished it with of course but what else Tira-Misu. Great place to go. Fills up quick.
Fabulous food and the staff is awesome! Pasta is the best in town. I live close by and have dinner there at least 2x's month. They are very accommodating with trying to fit you in and very cognizant to not disturb or burden other dining guest with last minute diners. Recommend the Pappardelle pasta with mushroom ragu sauce-my favorite!
The chicken was subpar. Overcooked and tough. Not enough green beans on the plate. Overpriced.
Very good food and service
The atmosphere is quiet and appealing
Never disappoints. Excellent food and service
Authentic Italian food. Fine service. Cozy and elegant. Great for business or social engagements.
