   The welcome, the service and the food - fantastic. So lucky to enjoy this experience. Thank you. And yes. The vongole is world class.

   We had an early dinner which we did on purpose to have a quiet dining experience. But soon the other patrons started arriving and the space is pretty small so the noise level went up significantly. Our food came quickly and was very good albeit perhaps somewhat bland in flavor. We probably would have gotten dessert but our waiter just sort of disappeared so finally another staff came over, we settled the bill and left. For a 35th wedding anniversary occasion it was very nice.

   Love this place. The best linguine vongole I’ve had in the states. And the salmon with orange sauce and wedges was both different and excellent. We live in Maine but visit this restaurant whenever we’re in town.

   We visited Al Tiramisu at the suggestion of a DC local, whose opinion created very high expectations. Those high expectations were exceeded in every respect. From walking through the door and meeting the owner, to enjoying a cocktail at the bar through the incomparable dining experience, everything was A+++. The staff, the ambience, the freshness and quality of every dish reminded me of the finest local restaurants I’ve enjoyed in Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, and Umbria. I cannot wait to return.

   I dine at Al Tiramusi every time I visit DC. The food and service are consistently great. The cocktails are also very good.

   If you are in D.C. and enjoy Italian food this restaurant is a must visit! It is a small venue so reserve early. It has a small bar area as well. We ordered the linguine with clams and that dish was the best I've ever eaten! I can also recommend the limoncello martini and the affogato. You will not be disappointed!

    Whenever we come to DC , Al Tiramisu is a must! We shared the arugula salad, which was very good. Entrees were the veal bolognese and lobster linguine. Both were amazing! Their house made limoncello is the best I’ve had. We’ll back next time we visit,
