    What a gem just steps from DuPont Circle! Each of us loved our entree. Our server recommended a wine special which was outstanding. Don’t miss out on a limoncello martini if you have time to nurse a starter.

    Excellent, friendly service in ambient context. Lovely special salad with cheese and grapefruit, very expensive, pretty ordinary Chianti and Supertuscan red; very good cheese ravioli and pretty good tiramisu. Big problem, however, with the should not be hard to make but awful fettucine con volgole, the taste of which was very strange (supposed to be parsley and olive oil). Disappointed the manager would not comp the fettucine. Will not return.

    Hi, We have been going to Al Tiramisu for quiet some years now and it never disappoints. The quality of food, service of the staff, their attention to detail and the warmth of the people. No wonder we keep coming back again and again.

    This is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy. The owner take a great interest in diners' experiences. The food is very fresh and well-prepared. The bar offers a great wine selection, and makes fantastic cocktails. The owner makes his own liqueurs, of which the Amaro and the Chocolate liqueur are delicious. The service is attentive and responsive. We have dined here three times and each was pleasant. The menu would be enhanced by more flexibility. While it is understood that most people eat fish, chicken, or beef, many people do not eat meat. And many people do not eat pasta made with gluten. I would love to see a way to have a gluten-free pasta with a variety of meat-free sauces. Also, I would love to see an additional salad offering. In summary, this is an excellent spot if you want to dine in a family-run establishment with excellent ambience, food, and drink.

    After respectfully consulting the possibility of changing the table from our reservation, from outdoors to indoors, the answer was rude. However, we stayed in our outdoor table, we were the only table there, and there were mosquitoes. Not the fault of the restaurant, but they should put some repellent to protect from those, now that the summer is beginning. We did not know that the reservation was outside the restaurant, in the sidewalk. Outdoors can be a patio, inside the restaurant. The food was good, the service of the waiters was excellent.
