What a lovely evening we had at Oliveto on Saturday. Gorgeous venue, attentive but unobtrusive service and fabulous food, cocktails and wine. Thank you - we will be back ❤️

Always wanted to sample this place, I’d read some reviews & they were pretty positive. However, for a fantastic venue overlooking the beautiful bay of Weymouth I’d have expected a rather more expansive choice in seafood. I had Salmon creme with Tagliatelle (not penne) and the pasta was fresh and very tasty but the sauce was more like salmon soup, I was expecting larger chunks of salmon in there. Garlic bread with cheese was tasty but coming from the Black Country it reminded me of a Naan bread of which our Bar & Grills do something similar. Staff were very very friendly and chatty and being single diner I always appreciate that. Venue & ambience was sublime also…….. Overall I’d go again if asked but I wouldn’t rush back if that makes sense?? But, thank you Oliveto for a nice evening.

The food here is excellent, if not a little expensive. The staff are very friendly. You have lovely views out to sea. Overall a good experience.

The food and services were excellent. I went on an exploratory basis because I want to find a good restaurant for my birthday in August. The downside is that the noise level from other tables was so high that the four of us found it hard to hear each other speak. The hard flooring and lack of sound absorption may have contributed. On the other hand it suggested people were having a really good time. The restaurant was fairly full. One of our party is on crutches and it pains her to have to walk up so many stairs. There is no lift. Also I think she will have to go down a floor to the loo. Will check before I try to book for my birthday. Lovely views. I remembered them from way back in years when we all could leap up stairs.

Lovely refreshing Italian cider to cool me down on arrival, followed by amazing Ravioli Barolo (as recommended by the boss), which was just outstanding, especially with a lovely glass of Italian red! Will definitely be back!

Best restaurant views in Weymouth, lovely decor, food was fresh, beautifully served by very good staff. Great wine list and cocktail choices. Had tye set lunch menu, which was good value .
