We look forward to welcoming you to Al Hamra.

Boneless chicken Cubes, grilled on a skewer, served with or without Garlic Sauce
A mixture of ground Chick Peas and Broad Beans tossed in Spices and deep fried
The food was excellant and the service was outstanding. I will definetly go there again and reccomend it to others
Food very average and ridiculous prices , tiny portions
Brought several large groups of six for lunch and it was a terrific experience. The food is fantastic!!
Very friendly good service and plus they kept us very warm with lots of heaters outside : )
So getting a table in town is a bit if a challenge these days as we head back to eating out and so we booked for a late lunch and headed into Mayfair. That was the best bit the location. We were seated at the end row outside like excess attenders, waited for service while enduring screechy chat from the table behind us. We ordered our food which came fairly quickly first sign it wasn't prepared fresh. Anyway it was a below par, tepid, reheated, disappointing and kinda pricey but not really for location. Won't be returning. Wouldn't recommend, maybe go next door. I had read the reviews and nearly cancelled. I should have.
What a wonderful place to enjoy lunch with family. We sat on the heated terrace and the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to revisit.
The service was exceptional, the food fantastic. The outside seating area warm and cosy. Had a very time. Thank you.
Really lovely food and excellent service. Wouldn't hesitate to go back
The price of the food is expensive and the taste is not good, the restaurant requested to receive people more than the limit allowed, and some requests were requested and were not brought, the restaurant is in level 2-10.
Fabulous food with good service!
Amazing food , good service
Cover charge is mandatory but unwelcome
Our first post lockdown dinner, appetisers were great; hot & cold and the grilled sea bass was simple but perfect!
Very good food. Their wine list could be more affordable.
Really accommodating and great service. The food not so much.
Went for lunch, sat outside under canopy with heaters. Delicious food, we are vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. Thank you for the excellent service too.
Delicious Lebanese food and lovely outdoor atmosphere
It’s very expensive for what it is. Food is better a specialist Lebanese supermarket. Service good.
The food was so incredible, the staff were very welcoming and helpful!!!
Very much enjoyed our meal. The staff were very attentive and I was very pleased with the Arayes Al Hamra, one of my favourites.
The food on the whole was very good except the kuba which was hard and seems to have been twice cooked. Everything else was delicious and full of flavour. My main complaint is that the price was high for the wine (£40 for ksara white wine) and shisha (£45-55). Yes the £55 shisha was delicious but is it really worth that kind of money? Still if you want top quality Arabic food with first rate service in a tastefully decorated restaurant then Al Hamra is the place for you.
Lovely food and good service. Gave us complimentary desert and allowed us to take the leftovers with us.
Loved the different kind of food and the Lebanese wine! Went there early, 6pm, and were the only ones in there, so no atmosphere. Would loved to have sat outside, but there were several people smoking, so didn’t fancy that. Food was delicious. Servers very helpful with recommendations
This was not my first time eating at Al Hamra. The food is always good and normally it has a good atmosphere. On this occasion, it was odd eating in a restaurant with no other customers. It is a consequence of Covid-19, I suspect. The food was good, as usual, and the staff were attentive - perhaps a little too attentive given the lack of other customers. Al Hamra is on the expensive side, but it is Mayfair and in keeping with other restaurants in the area. Overall, it was a good experience. I expect, I will return.
Good food good wine good interior. Worth paying.
Waiters ignored us for no apparent reason
Haughty and arrogant
Relatively expensive but very good simple food. Perfect for dinner before or after the Curzon Cinema.
We come here every time we’re in London. Would never miss a meal at Al Hamra while in London!
I love the atmosphere in Al Hamra and the the staff are is always freindly and welcoming. The food is good but, for the price, quite ordinary. You can get just as good Lebanese in the Edgware Rd for half this price. Ok - so it's Shepherd's market, Mayfair and you're going to pay a premium but, like all restaurants in a great location, you can't just rely on it – the product has to be super as well. At £60 per head (one starter dish, one main and 1 1/2 glasses of wine) it's mean not to serve mains with a side like rice or a really generous salad for instance. In the end you feel that, very gently and very politely, and you've been had.
Best Lebanese food in London since Al Bustan closed and we have tried many of them!
The food was really nice, however the waiters were very much on top of you, as if they were rushing you to hurry up. On the other side the ambiance was nice and the food was delicious but was a bit pricey for what you received.
Seriously overpriced for what you get, but it's delicious...
The staff were very accommodating as we brought two young children with us at 5PM meal during Christmas season. We really appreciated that.
The food was very fresh and good portions.
We did not mind paying 12% service charge but there is also a £1.50 table charge per person which we did not like.
We started coming to Al Hamra back in the 1990’s and return to it whenever we are in London. The location, the ambience and the FOOD keep us coming back for more!
Lots of choice for my vegan and veggie friends - we always go for our annual get together
Proper Lebanese food, good service and a nice environment
Excellent Lebanese food and a huge variety to choose from. One of the great things is that you can order as you go along, with no pressure from the staff to choose a main course until you are ready - very important as when ordering mezza starters one often over-estimates what you can eat! Ordered a Lebanese red wine we had never tried and it was very good at a reasonable price.
An outstanding meal: everything was incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. Charming unobtrusive service. A lovely dining room. The only slight downside was a table of extremely loud diners next to us - not Al Hamra’s fault!
The food was better than ever - really fresh and delicious. Great service, too
Another wonderful dinner at Al Hamra. Have been dining at Al Hamra since the early 90’s and have always experienced great service, food and casual ambience. New booths are a nice addition to the restaurant. Kibbe is wonderful as are the falafel and hummos!
The food is always great at Al Hamra.
The restaurant itself is not fancy- just an easy dining experience.
