Disappointing, the wait in the bar was great. Great drinks. The food, not so much. The crab cakes were the worst I’ve had at a steakhouse. Served with virtually no sauce. The Caesar’s were underdressed, my dates scallops were barely cooked. The onion rings greasy and served with a fraction of an ounce of ketchup. My steak was good. I ordered a loaded baked potato that was served with virtually no butter and no sour cream. I had to ask for both. The coffee for dessert was served with skim milk instead of half and half. For three hundred dollars for two people, will never be going back.

Love Al Biernats. Amazing service- they knew it was our anniversary, gave us a great table , dessert and made us feel special. Love the Chilean sea bass and my husband loved the snapper. Lizzy was our server And she was awesome. Fantastic service all evening. She made great cocktail and wine suggestions too. This is our favorite restaurant in Dallas !!!

Happy Friday fourth week of lent. Seafood was the choice. I got a lobster! Very good! She had steak! Brussels. Caesar salad and wedge salad. All great. Wine steward chose the cab. Great call. Dessert chocolate cake! Just a great night. Server was great. Valet on point! Thank you to check in for putting is indoors! The place was packed! Took my wife and two other couples to Al Biernat's for her birthday. It has always been our favorite place to dine for over 30 years but this time, we noticed a considerable drop off in the quality of the food. First, we ordered a seafood tower that was excellent but cost $225. It says market price on the Menu and I would not have ordered it if I had inquired first. Its great but not worth $225. My wife and I both ordered scallops which were overcooked and a bit rubbery. They have always been great in the past. Ordered 3 sides, creamed corm, brussel sprouts and scalloped potatoes. The first two were not nearly as good as in the past. On the other hand, 2 of our guests ordered steaks and they said they were good. Service was attentive but pushy. Waiter kept pushing us to order more wine when we still had wine left in the bottle. Bottles of wine were almost twice as expensive as the last time we were there. (December 2022) Total bill came to $1,474 and for that amount, I thought it would be much better. Something has definitely changed with this restaurant as it is not nearly as good as it used to be. We will not be back until we hear that quality and service have improved.

We used to live by the Palm in Houston and were able to walk there. It was a warm friendly environment where they remembered what we liked and it was like a home away from home. My husband and and I stopped in one evening after a dear friends funeral. Unfortunately we did not have reservations, however they gave us a lovely booth by the bar. We enjoyed our dinner very much. When we can in this time, the head bartender remembered us, what wine we liked and our previous desert. It was a wonderful surprise and made us feel at home.

The service and attention were great. There was some difficulty with a fussy child nearby that lessened the ambiance. One of our guest’s filet had to be sent back twice until she was satisfied with the temperature, but I’m not sure she knew what she was requesting. Another guest’s spinalis steak was flavorful but more chewy than anticipated. He did not voice his concern at that time, so the restaurant had no opportunity to respond. The manager, Steve, and our server, Sheila, could not have been more pleasant and accommodating and provided a thoughtful surprise in custom dessert plate that topped the evening off on a high note.

Everything was great- cocktails, food and service. Would definitely dine here again but it’s a definite Dallas steakhouse- nothing wildly special but overpriced.

As usual, Al Biernat's is the epitome of service. Their food is amazing and the service is second to none. There was 7 of us for lunch and we had appetizers, entrees, and dessert. It was all cooked to perfection. The mango ceviche was amazing! The valet is friendly and fast, the hostess, waiter, support staff, and kitchen are all just perfect. I can never say enough nice things about such a wonderful place.

Has yet to disappoint- from the level of service at the valet, hostess area, bar, management & wait staff, everyone gives 100%. A great place to dine for a special occasion, date night or just when you want a guaranteed great meal.

Another great night at Al's! The valet met me and parked car. Check on seamless and bar for a drink , well made! Dinner was outstanding , steaks tender and plenty! Outstanding Service was attentive and professional Al's was packed , so this is no secret place. Enjoy great food and service.
