1. The Turkey and Brie Tartine was on white bread (what about rye, whole wheat, etc) and the Cherry Mostarda was just dried cherries with very little flavor. I THINK there was brie on the bread. 2. The cheese board was served with saltines. Saltines. Really? 3. The rice pudding was bad. I don't know if it was bad from the way it was made or if it had gone bad. When I talked to the server and said, "this does not taste good" , she took the cup and walked away. She did not offer to bring another dessert option or apologize, she just took it and walked away. When we got the bill, the rice pudding was still on the check. Therefore, I did not leave a tip. If I have to pay for a horrible dessert, you don't deserve a tip. 4. No ambiance. Nada. Nothing.

Wonderfully fresh, farm to table and delicious lunches. Both tuna salad and chicken salad were scrumptious. And the sangria was refreshing. Annie stopped by the table to check on us and our waitress was super pleasant. Loved AKT!

Food and service were really good. Among the soups, Tuscan minestrone and Chilli soups were excellent. Crab cake sandwich had just the right amount of crab with their special sauce...not very bold in flavors...and not too craby. The ham sandwich, sounds ordinary, was anything but. That was my favorite! In dessert, the Pistachio cake was a perfect mixture of pistachio, sweetness and fluffy cake. Even the bread pudding was really good! All in all, great good, and friendly & attentive service.

I had lunch with a friend. I had the soup and Rubin. My friend and the same soup ( tomato red pepper) and the daily special salad. We were both very satisfied. The extra was our servers, both very personable and attentive, but not smothering.
We were on the porch. Two enthusiastic tables were seated and the volume jumped. Not so bad as to totally interrupt our conversation, but a bit loud.
The ambiance is important, but the food is why we love restaurants. The food at AKT Nourish is to love.
I highly recommend

I have eaten at AKT Nourish a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is made with fresh local ingredients by Chef/Owner Anne Thomas. The specials change almost every day based of what is available in season and from local farmers.

The service is attentive but not intrusive and everyone his friendly. The down side is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.

Fantastic food and great service. We stayed until after the restaurant closed for lunch and the owner was so welcoming. They allowed us to stay and just continue our conversation.

A lovely little spot in Haymarket. Good food. Plenty of selections. Nice that the owner is part of the daily scene. Appreciate being able to pick up local honey there.

Great spot for healthy lunch choices. Freshly made from the best ingredients! The staff was friendly and helpful and well informed about the menu. Lunched with my family and everyone had a great meal from chilled fruit soup to sandwiches everything was delicious! The only downside is it is so small and not really that inviting. Wishing the owners much success and room to grow!
