   This establishment was a regular choice for me. On this hot day it had the front doors open and all AC units shut down. I looked at the thermostats by the bar, they were turned off and the inside temp reading was 87 degrees. It was very humid and hot. Not a malfunction, it was just turned off. This is a place where raw fish is served. Uncomfortable and frankly, gross. I asked for AC. One of three units was turned on. At a setting of 80 degrees. I will never go back.

   My wife and I were in town to visit family & attend an event. We had eaten here once before...we don’t get into Philly that often but when we do eating @ Aki Sushi is the main reason. You absolutely can not beat the price for all you can eat sushi ! There is 1 Resturant in the Lehigh Valley that offers “all you can eat” but Aki wins hands down on selection, service and quality of food. Aki’s Salmon is melt in your mouth delicious. But ALL items we had we extremely fresh and presented fantastic! Service was impeccable. I’d drive an hour to JUST dine here!

   I thought the quality of the sushi rolls was very low. The rice on the rolls was mushy and almost pasty which made it very difficult to eat.

   Slow start; strong middle; weak ending ... service was disrupted due to too few staff at the start of the night, and two large parties turning up at once taking most of the chefs time to prepare, which slowed down the rest of service for every other diner

    I booked a reservation for Aki Sushi at 8pm using Open Table, but when I arrived (at 7:45) the hostess told me that any reservations made on the same day would not be honored because they were too busy! What is the point of making a reservation then?? I don’t think any of the employees were really on the same page and clearly nobody was interested in customer service. After the hostess told me she would “try to fit me in,” she just walked away— didn’t bother to ask my name or put me down on a list or anything. She didn’t say sorry either. We ended up sitting at the bar instead. Sushi was very good.

    The service was excellent! The “all you can eat” sushi is a great value, especially with the type of rolls included, as well as the wide variety of choices. They all tasted delicious. Wine was good and a bargain during happy hour. Would definitely return!

    If you are looking for a good sushi restaurant with decent prices, I don't think you can go wrong here. There is a parking garage right across the street from the restaurant if you are worried about parking. They do have an all you can eat option which I didn't find out about until I got there. I should have gone hungrier so I could have taken advantage of that!

    It was a decent place. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. We ordered sushi which was good. The restaurant offers an unlimited sushi menu but we did not try that. We will definitely return again.

    Woth reservations for 4 the wait time for our meals was astronomical. I felt waiting 40+ minutes for fried rice and stir fry was unacceptable. That was only half the tables order. The others continued to wait for their rolls.

    Came in for the all you can eat sushi and had a great time. We really loved that there were so many great appetizers included in the price. To top it off, our server was prompt and courteous, we enjoyed each round of ordering.

    I made a reservation for 8 people and 730 and did not get seated until after 9PM!!!!!!!!! the food took a very long time to come out....i would never go back

    I thought this place had a great feel to it and the food was good. The presentation of sushi was excellent. I wish it wasn't quite as noisy. The tables are also very close together. I wouldn't say it's romantic at all. Our waiter was very friendly but didn't know the menu and I had to get his attention a few times. I would return but maybe on a quieter, less busy evening. I went on a Saturday night around 7pm.

    Went for restaurant week, the menu was good and on their regular menu they do have variety for sushi lovers. The food was pretty decent. Why the rating is low is because the service was terrible. It was busy but you still shouldn't have to ask after 20 minutes who is your waiter and for water. In addition, the poor hostess had to take our order because they were short staffed. Our courses of food came out of order and took a while as well. Overall, If this was my first impression of customer service I wouldn't recommend it.

    Service and food quality have dropped a great deal in the last year. I probably will not return as this is the second not so good experience! Basically, slow service, slow food delivery, lower quality on food. It's become a Groupon hangout and the service and food quality show it.

    Went for lunch during restaurant week, the ccd restaurant week website said that it was participating. Upon arrival, the waitress told us that it was not restaurant week and then that they weren't participating in it. We ordered from the lunch menu which is on a separate page from the "lunch specials" menu which clearly states it's for weekdays only. Waitress told us that the lunch menu is only available during the week, but that she would put it in anyway. Then I heard the chefs complaining to her that they would not make things from the lunch menu because they were specials. It was a mess and I won't go back. Everyone who walked through the door asked about restaurant week, and if I had known they weren't participating I would have chosen a different restaurant.

    We did not have a server, the hostess waited on us. We ordered three courses. They did not send out orders out right. They gave me my third course first, 2nd course second, and 1st course third. They also had us wait even though we made a reservation. The food did not make up for the poor service.

    Waited 30 min beyond the time of our reservation for a table and hostess said we still had to wait at least another 10 min or so. We gave up and went somewhere else

    Really enjoyed Dinning at Aki as usual. Although it was NYE, restaurant wasn’t crowded, but food wasn’t as good as usual. It seemed not so fresh. But I am a fan of their menu and will always recommend Aki.

    The service was great. Very warm and hospitable. It was a comfortable and yet pleasant. There was no rushing or pressure to move along. They explain and describe everything when asked about specfic things on the menu. I would return weekly if it were closer.

    Sushi was ok. Bent box was worst I ever had. The shrimp and beef was very spiCy, the rest greasy. Miso soup was ok.
