Air Canada Club - MLSE Ratings and Reviews
We had booked a pre-concert dinner with four teenage girls and 2 moms going to see a concert. Amazing restaurant with super cool view pre-concert. Our server was incredible they were very flexible on items that weren’t even on the menu. We watch the opening act from the restaurant while we were having our drinks. Great upscale dining and fun for everyone!
Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, but the kitchen botched both our kids meals. Cheeseburger came under cooked after asking for well done. Chicken & cheese quesadilla came with only cheese. Server was very good about it, but frustrating none-the-less.
i'd have to say the weirdest part was when 2 cops came to sit with me. as a 35 year old woman at a katy perry concert, who had obviously been searched upon entry like everyone else, i hope i was not suspicious to open table. it made me extremely on edge and uncomfortable. very, very strange experience.
Great food with extensive wine list. Good as business dining spot before a live sporting event. Expensive as expected for being part of the ACC. Service was quick, friendly, and professional. I recommend going 1.5 hours before the event as it does get loud with pre-game announcements.
Food yummy but pricey and wine list expensive - but location - location!!!
Birthday party was great - but when we took off to concert I had left 2 out our 5 concert tickets (to Roger Waters) on the table- and the waiter and back staff denied having them -
until I had a fit and was pulling them up on my cell phone -
Obviously a staff member took the tickets- which was terrible- but they knew we walked in with them so one of the staff members/ hostess realized what happened- recovered them-
made sure we got them back! But it made us late for the concert.
The women at the desk were great and helped us make sure they were finally returned - but really- this was unacceptable-Need better selection of staff!!
I might have got a but confused on the Canadian conversions and although service started out quick - it slowed down just as we were trying to leave - which was frustrating depreciating the tip -so maybe the dude wasn't happy with the tip which was between 15-20%- but taking the tickets- unacceptable!!
Really ruined a very special night!!
Ordered the fish special (Pickerel $42) and the Prime Rib burger $30. The lump was a lump of protein in a miso tepid bath. Blah, Blah & Blah. Couldn't eat it.
The Prime Rib burger was way over cooked (grey, dry and the cheese wasn't even warm or melted). How do you screw up something that should be juicy given it's so fatty? The 6 ounce medallion was what was left after whatever cooking process was applied. I split the burger with my dining partner. The fries were the best part of the meal --- tasty and a decent portion. People around us appeared to have enjoyed their meals...lots of steaks.
The place was really busy as it was prior to the leafs's game. The service was as good as could be expected. Server was very friendly despite having a lot of people to take care of.
In the end, the manager came by, comp'd us the Pickerel (I never mentioned the burger) and a couple drinks for the game. I had no expectation I was going to be comp'd for anything and the drinks were completely unexpected. The service rating above does not include the us being comp'd.
I would definitely recommend the Air Canada Club. I apologize that I cannot recall our servers name, but he was exceptional, very attentive and provided a great all around experience. All of the staff we dealt with were pleasant and responsive.
Thanks for a great evening.
Was a better experience than expected. Food was great. Portions were not HUGE and difficult to finish. Dessert was excellent.
There was a limited "special event" menu that limited selection to a few apps and mains but none-the-less the food and service was great.
Two thumbs up!
Great place for a meal and drinks prior to concert. It gets busy before a concert but they keep the menu simple and works well. Great wine list - with a few gems in between the pricier wines.
Great staff and helpful sommelier! Best of all was a great viewing table so could stay for the concert - nice to enjoy the rest of the wine and great concert
The menu was not broad enough. The burger was average not worth $30.00. The meatball was excellent. The corn great flavor but would be nice if served off the cob. The lardon appetizer was not like real lardon but like pork rind chips we buy in a bag. The chicken was excellent. The asparagus salad was very tasty but the asparagus was a little under done.
Our waitress was more than amazing she help make the night.
Like to see more of the old menu choices.
Will be back though.
Expensive but acceptable and better than eating with food on your lap. It was like eating while watching a game at home but with more noise and bigger screens. The double cheeseburger and fries ($30) was tasty but small. The kids pasta was supposed to be Penne but arrived as spaghetti, so my son wasn't thrilled. The Fish and chips were tasty but small portion (long and thin). Overall and okay meal. Two adults, one kid and one drink came to about $100.
Order the steak and asked for just vegetables. So when the steak arrived the 4 carrot pieces where hidden under the steak I truest thought they were brining them on the side. That didn't happen and so eat a nice steak and 4 pieces of carrot and paid $59.00 for that priveldge . Probably won't go back.
