We loved the use of vegetables in every course, from the garlicky bean dip with the bread, the French lentils with the sausage, and the mushrooms served with chicken. Attentive service.

Went to Aioli for dine-downtown. My meal was pretty good; however, my boyfriend ordered the chicken and it was awful to say in the least. It was chewy, hard to cut, and I did not have a good flavor. Such a bummer to spend that much money on a meal that just was not great. Probably will not be back.

Enjoy the authentic feeling Spanish kind of coffee and restaurant. And one of the waiters of been there 27 years is always friendly always welcome me. It’s a little bit pricey but always enjoyable and has a find a different feel than many of the other places around the block.

We left without receiving all the food ordered, to end a very long wait. The place was overrun with people due to a dining downtown promotion; they were not prepared for it. Usually this place delivers a good experience, but no this time.

Tables are too close together. A little too noisy, you have to yell at each other to talk.

Very good accommodations, but half way through our meal crowds started to assemble and the room was still very comfortable and enjoyable. Our waiter was very informative and suggested from the specials a very filling and delicious meal. We've been here before and have not had a bad meal yet. Great food the lamb was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and delicious. The waiter made great recommendations, we'll be coming back again.

Went there for New Year's, and they were about 20 minutes late with our reservation, but got a nice bottle of wine at the bar and eventually we got a window seat and then the food came and it was amazing! Think I've been here twice on New Year's now, and a couple other times, and always enjoy it.

Our server, Nick.....was over-the-top awesome!!! He came over to our table and went through the specials and what he would recommend. His friendly personality made our experience wonderful amd I would go back just for his attention to service...not to mention the fabulous food. Happy New Year and thank you again.

My two kids, (one teen and one young adult) and I had Xmas eve dinner here. Overall we had a good experience, the only complain I have is the Paella. All the tapas were de ent, the olives could have been better, but the vegetarian paella was pretty awful, it lacked taste and was soggy, more like a risotto. Despite that we enjoyed our evening and the cozy setting.

When we walked in for our 6pm reservation we were greeted by the manager. He was happy and friendly and personable. He seated us promptly and our waiter answered all of our questions and made recommendations to our liking. We each ordered different Tapas and shared. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. While we were eating a guitar player sat down and played lovely acoustic music. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I highly recommend eating at Aioli's.

This was not my first visit. I like Aioli for a few reasons. The food is good quality, prepared well, served well and delicious. It is on the quiet side. It is well-appointed but not excessively decorated. The wine list is very adequate. The wait staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Our most recent waiter was an encyclopedia of information about the menu. It is a good value. Overall, I think Aioli is what a restaurant should be. It is one of Sacramento's best restaurants.

Great food in a lovely setting. The service was was poor. Only 2 other tables in the restaurant yet we waited 15 minutes for drinks. Apparently it’s more important to put candles on tables than to take drink orders. This would be the theme of the night regarding service. I did remark about to the owner as I left that the food was excellent but service was lacking...he shrugged. Sad.

The server Gigi was non-attentive, curt, and brusque. We had our menus taken away, we were not greeted on entry, and told we had no reservation which we did. We had no checks back on the food, no offer to get new drinks or wine, no offer for dessert until another server took the time. Our plates were not removed, but the bill came right on time. For such a great menu it’s a shame our server didn’t know that customers were more important than silverware.

We attend here for the food NOT the service. When we make a reservation it usually about another 1/2 hour wait - sometimes longer. Best paella in town, but it’s worth the hassle. We are current for new paella place. I have one in mind but won’t say it here.

Late night dinner with some friends. We ordered a bottle of wine and a variety of plates to share. Good food with interesting flavor combinations. Would recommend if you are looking for something unique and different.

Most romantic and fun restaurant in downtown Sacramento hands up! Great service; makes you feel special. Guitar music added ambience. Food exceptional. Friendly staff yet very professional. A great balance of fine food, romantic atmosphere, great staff, live music and the cost is well worth it!

My wife and I drive to Sacramento several times a year from Reno to have dinner here. The food and wines are excellent and the wait staff very good. Eat here---I just wish it was closer to Reno.

It was nice and the food was tasty but the service was iffy. A table that was seated at least ten minutes after us got their food at least ten minutes before us even though they were a larger party. Once we got our food it had to be taken back because they had made mistakes with our order. We went in for our third anniversary celebration so we weren’t in any rush but had it been different circumstances I may have felt differently.

We were very disappointed in the service. For a group of 5, one meal wasn't delivered to the table until the rest of us were almost done eating. Not only was the duck entree very late but it was dry and not appetizing. My husband sent it back after a few bites but he was still charged for the meal. The live music was nice but the room was so loud we couldn't hear across the table. Very disappointed overall. Lots of other choices in Sacramento, so will not be back.

First time visit. Found Aioli via Open Table. What a great treat. Wait staff was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Sangria was delicious. The night we were there, we enjoyed some lovely live guitar music. A quaint setting made for a great meal before the show.
