   We treated a friend to dinner at Aioli and everyone was impressed by the food. The paella de mariscos was delicious; it was so delicious that our foodie friend pronounced it "wonderful." Our server suggested a verdejo to accompany the paella and our friend found it the perfect selection. High praise from her, and from us, for a superb dinner.

   We were first timers at this restaurant and were very pleased with the experience. We began by splitting the arugula/beet salad and found it to be an excellent way to start our meal and not be too full to enjoy the main course. The main reason for trying this restaurant was their paella valenciana which turned out to be the best we've had in many years. The saffron rice was delicious as were the assorted seafoods, pork and peppers. Our only regret is that they didn,t include any sausage. The wine list is extensive and included several wines by the glass. The Aborigno was good but the Godello was extraordinary. We concluded our dinner by sharing the flan and found it to be very light and tasty. Service was excellent and professional. Prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant.

   My sister and I visited for early (5pm) supper following the theater. It was her birthday. We were greeted immediately and shown a table near the window. We ordered a charcuterie plate and white bean dip with house made bread. All very fresh and flavorable. The spinach salad we shared was lightly dressed and all the ingredients chilled and crisp. Perfect. My sister ordered the ribeye steak, a goodly portion, which she raved about the flavor and tenderness. I ordered the special fish - a halibut in a delicately flavored fish sauce with fresh peas. Very good. We drank a server-recommended white wine throughout and enjoyed the nuanced differences with Spanish origin. Of course birthday required dessert and so we shared the almond cake with honey and orange topped with fresh whipped cream (yum) and a delicious orange flavored Crema Catalana. I very much appreciated the attentive service we received from "Eddy". Im looking forward to making another visit before long.

    I’ve been here multiple times, I made a reservation, checked in 5 minutes early, watched at least 5 groups of people get seated before me. After 15 minutes, I asked if they forgot about me, he said no, I was looking for the best table, haha. He immediately sits us down, it is hot, doors are open but it’s about 85 degrees outside, no breeze. It’s loud inside and the waiter talks fast and has a mask on so it’s difficult to hear him. I ordered the sangria and it was watered down. The lasagna was good, but overall pricey for the ambiance this time. $22 for a small slice of lasagna, no salad, and you even have to pay for bread. I won’t go back for awhile, there are a lot of great options in Sacramento now.

    Tapas of pulpas was terrific and shrimp very good. The bread w bean spread is always a hit. The back patio is our favorite place to enjoy our family celebrations and Sunday supper was perfect. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the salmon w lemon was hearty and light at the same time. Thank you for another wonderful evening.

    The food was okay only. No AC so it was quite warm in the restaurant. It was busy so I get why we didn’t get the best service. Felt like our waiter was impatient with us even tho it was our first time there. Felt rush trying to order. Overall it was okay only, I didn’t think I would go back.

    We chose to sit in the back outside. Lovely place and much quieter than inside. Our main server was excellent (Malek??) However the person who helped him serve didn't really explain one of the dishes - the cheese platter. Basically said it was a variation of Manchego cheeses. Otherwise, a lovely place to eat and great food.

    A dinner at Aioli is like a trip to Spain. This was my second dinner there, and the food is excellent. We decided to do an all tapas meal, choosing gazpacho, five small plates and flan for dessert. Every dish was not only tasty but unique. On a previous trip, we had paella, which is made to order, so it takes about 45 minutes. But that just gives more time for tapas and wine! For a special night out, Aioli is a great choice. It is relatively expensive, but considering that the food is not only prepared fresh but also presented almost as works art, it is well worth the price. Note that only on-street parking is available, so you might have to walk a block or two during busy times. We lucked on on this trip and got a space right in front of the restaurant.

    The food was generally excellent. I had the Soup of the Day which was asparagus. It had a nice flavor but was way too thin. But for that, everything else was fantastic. The only other negative was that they had apparently over-booked. I wasn't seated for about 30 minutes after my reserved time.

    Arrived at 6pm for a 6pm reservation. No table available. After waiting 30 mins left and had dinner at the Thai restaurant around the corner. Due to extra wait time got back to my car with an expired meter and $50 parking ticket. Will not be back at Aioli.

    I love this restaurant. The ambiance is lovely. I feel like I am in a European bistro and the food is excellent. We usually get a variety of small plates which always leaves us feeling satisfied. I highly recommend Aioli.

    The food was excellent, especially the fish and seafood dishes. Portions were generous but not too huge. The wine selection was very good and the suggestions from our waiter paired nicely with the meal. The wait staff and kitchen were careful about specific food allergies. I’d give the whole experience 5 stars except that we waited about 20-25 minutes for our desserts. That said, the desserts were amazing, especially the rice pudding. Well worth waiting for, and perhaps enjoyed a bit more for the time to rest and digest.

    Aioli is stop we make whenever we are in Sacramento, great food and service. However after last dinner we might not comeback. Food was excellent as usual, tortilla, shrimps and paella, first class service (we appreciate young people walking hard). But when you have a drunken owner seating at the bar, half of time standing and leaning, screaming and dropping F bombs, trying to make a his political opinions known is not my idea of having a good time even I agree with him. I will spend my money somewhere else for a more pleasant dinner.

    The salmon special was outstanding! They somehow managed to cook the salmon to perfection, and salsa and wrap it all in a crispy thin crepe and the flavors came out delicious. I love the light, Mediterranean salad, and with a bowl of soup the meal was amazing
