Aioli Bodega Espanola
Good food. Great selection of Spanish wines. Knowledgeable service staff. A bit slow from the start, but finished well. Will go back…
Great as always. One of our favorites.
Everything was perfect.
The food was excellent (as always) and I will definitely be back.
My one complaint was the waiter. While attentiveness is good, this waiter would not leave us alone. He was over-attentive, coming to our table every few moments to ask questions, refill water (when only a sip had been taken), or clear plates that still had food on them. He kept insisting on taking pictures for us and we had to repeat that we didn't want any pictures.
Good service is wonderful, but also know where to draw the line--we wanted to have a conversation, not be interrupted by the waiter every five minutes. Please let your patrons sit and enjoy their food and conversation without being disrupted repeatedly.
Service was slow. Food was good. Waitress threw three plates of take home into one take home container so my vegetarian husband won’t eat it now and I really don’t carw for soggy potato bravadas.
Won’t return even though food was good. Took forever to request our second drink.
We loved this place. The food was amazing and the prices for lunch were very reasonable. Would definitely go back!!
Great service, love sitting outside on the patio
The shrimp linguini special was amazing and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The charcuterie tapa with chorizo, olives, and manchego cheese was a great starter.
Sat outside on the patio. It was lovely.
Quiet, elegant dining with dishes that will entertain the most distinguished connosieurs
I had been wanting to try this restaurant and finally made reservations. I ordered the prime rib and was completely disappointed. The steak was dry, over cooked and was topped with their own speciality sauce with made the whole thing worse. My advice - don’t order steak here ! They did however have a good wine selection and the service was friendly and fun . I might go back just to try a different dish so I’m not writing this place off completely just yet .
Romantic and great food
One of my top favorite restaurants in the Sacramento area. Always a treat to be there.
Great experience! Amazing food and service. Highly recommend!
We were at the restaurant to celebrate mi husband’s birthday. The vegetarian paella was delicious! Our server was very attentive and offered us some great suggestions from the menu.
We are regular diners at this favorite spot in mid-town Sacramento. It is always a pleasure to come in and be treated like family, no matter what time of day. The food and service are top notch.
The food was excellent. The presentation was superb and the advice given by our server was excellent. The Valencia Paella was definitely worth the wait. The beef short ribs and grilled endives were fantastic. We will definitely eturn to try some of the other exotic tapas and main courses.
Quality of food and presentation was excellent... rivals our experiences in Barcelona. Cant believe we have not come here sooner...
My husband and I have dined at Aioli many times over the past 6 years. It is our go to place when people from out of town visit. This past Saturday we had guests from the east coast in town. We took them there for two reasons, one we were confident that we would not be disappointed and two it had been a good 8 months since we had made it in and we missed it. I do not know what happened in the last 8 months, but something has gone horribly wrong. We started off ordering the PAELLA DE MARISCOS, we knew it took 45 minutes to properly cook at and we wanted to get it in right away. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable so we figured we were in for a good night. We started out with the SALPICON DE PULPO which is always a crowd pleaser, but this time it was flavorless and lifeless. IT was dripping in heavy olive oil and rubbery, I tried to push it off, but it bothered me that it was no longer the dish I loved, I hoped for better on the next item. Next were a few items from the seasonal menu, the shrimp were good, but slightly salty, and the pork pinchos were dry as hockey pucks, I litterally was trying to drag them through oil to hydrate them a little. Then came the paella. It is 45.00 for a serving for two people. It has always been delicious. This time, it was horrible. Gone were the crispy bits of rice at the bottom of hte pan, it appeared to me they had made a giant pot of saffron rice and spooned it into a paella pan, the clams and muscels were dry, dry, dry like they had been cooked earlier in the day and left to sit. It was all so disappointing. We finished off with a couple of other non-discript dishes. All in all dinner for four was well over 200.00. We left hungry, our pallets unsatisfied and my favorite Handle district restaurant crossed off the list, possibly forever. One other weird experience was the owner came over and started pulling out menus off the table even though we had asked the server to leave them We tried to keep them and he
Amazing food experience. Everyone ought to try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Great tapas menu
Sitting outdoors was surprisingly comfy. Nice breeze. Dark atmosphere with some candlelight and some christmas lights wrapped around the tree. Great service too.
Ambiance was great with live flamenco music, service was excellent, and a wide variety of Spanish food selection to choose from.
Always wonderful! The service and food are just wonderful. I would eat here every week, every DAY if I could!
This was our second time. We had such a wonderful first time, so we returned with friends who also loved it. We will return again to try more delightful specials.
The food was wonderful, we let our server choose some tapas style plates for us and they were excellent! The Ambiance outside on their back patio was perfect. A great experience all around.
The patio was very cute, never been here before but loved it!
Although our appetizers were phenomenal, we were unfortunately let down by the paella
Service was great, food was amazing. Fun experience!!
The owner Reda is so welcoming and kind. We felt like we were in our own kitchen dining table having the most delicious food and wine 🍷 Paella 🥘 is a must! Cocktails and wine are excellent! Can’t wait to go back!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Outstanding service, atmosphere and quality of dishes. The seafood Paella was excellent, I even requested an item no longer on the menu, mushroom Bruscetta...accommodated my request.
A perfect evening!
My coworkers and I had a fabulous time the food was excellent the ambience was excellent we were celebrating our Leo birthdays!!!!
Outstanding service and a romantic atmosphere. Server helped us choose a perfect bottle of wine. Ordered the paella and some pork loin ponchos to start. Paella was very good. The pinchos were slightly undercooked. Dessert was chocolate mousse and berries. The mousse was average. I've been to Aioli before and would certainly go back. Their seafood selections are generally excellent and we're eager to try more tapas.
Live music in patio. Conscientious servers. Excellent food choices.
We were looking for something a little different for dinner. We found it. It was delicious, and the service was great.
Everything was perfect! The food, amazing and I’m a foodie, service friendly and amusing, we’ve had Jason, Eddie, Nathan and Lucas as our servers and they were all great! Love the atmosphere as well, cute patio.
Our waiter/bartender was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with tips on what to order. The tapas were delicious and a good value for the money. Its charming ambiance reminded me of restaurants in Spain. This was my third visit to Aioli Bodega and I’ve yet to be disappointed!
Delicious food, good service, very nice patio ambiance
we always enjoy our visits very much!
especially dining in the patio.
