Had a great night out with girlfriends. Service was great. The food was tasty— I think my girlfriends liked their pastas better than I liked my meal, but it was quite good. The appetizers were delicious and the desserts delicious.
I think the only real downside was the ambiance. We stayed until closing and the lights never dimmer or anything. Not that we needed romance, but it just felt off for such a nice place to eat. On the plus side, they played lots of Springsteen, so that was a win 👍🏻
Our second time there, the best part was our waiter BORIS who turned out to be a Sommelier. Very personalized attention and great recommendations for pairings of food and wine.
A quiet Monday evening for our first visit to Aida. We had heard and read about it but never been there ourselves. Summer risotto was excellent. Impressive wine selection, as you would expect. We intend to go back and explore the menu offerings further.
Another wonderful Birthday celebration at Aida! Thanks to Meredith and Boris for adding extra special touches throughout the evening. We all appreciate the attention to detail. Chef Matt's food was amazing!
The food was really not good. The only thing to recommend it seemed to be the bar. I will not go there again.
Chef Laub will be missed. Visit him at Coelum Cafe, Bar & Market in Canton! Good luck, Matt!
Service was very rushed. 2/5 entrees came out luke warm.
Outstanding menu with delicious home-grown Italian fare. The food/wine did not disappoint. Ordered the Shrimp Diavolo and was very impressed. The wines are sourced by tap from producers all around the world. The service was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back (though perhaps for happy hour...prices were oddly high, with entrees averaging $25+ and a $20 wine flight for three 3oz pours). The only thing left to be desired was a little ambience. It's hard to escape the business park environment where the restaurant is located.
We ate on the outdoor patio, which, though it abutted the parking lot, was quiet and enjoyable. The service was competent and friendly. Serving sizes are small in comparison to prices but all our dishes (appetizers and entrees) were flavorful and well presented.
Great food, excellent wine.
Our waiter was very good. He was attentive and patient while we chose a wine. The appetizers were good. Unfortunately, our dinner was very disappointing. I had linguini with oil and garlic. It was so dry and tasteless, that I asked the waiter for more oil. My husband’s dinner was just as bland. I will probably return for happy hour and have appetizers, but not worth the high prices they charge for food that is certainly forgettable.
I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service of this restaurant. I also like how one can easily choose between having a $$ meal or a $$$$ meal; that is, you can to eat cheap or splurge. I was disappointed this time, however, with being surprised by rather high drink prices, which I have noticed is an unwelcome trend among many local restaurants. Had we known the mixed drinks ordered would be so expensive, we would have never ordered them. I realize that it can be hard to be profitable in the restaurant business, but I don't think surprising customers like this is a good long-term strategy. This will certainly not stop me from coming back, but I hope this restaurant and others might start refraining from such a practice.
I highly recommend this restaurant. This was our first time dining at this restaurant and I can't say enough abut the service we received. Our server Boris, was absolutely incredible! So attentive. He made our dining experience memorable. The food was absolutely delicious. We are definitely coming back!!
We need more restaurants of this caliber in the Howard County area.
Never disappoints. Wine selection is amazing as is the food!
Our server was so great and the food was worth every penny! Would definitely recommend to a friend. Loved all the vegan options.
Lovely meal highly recommend AIDA, they were accommodating and friendly
Mother's Day meal was very good. We ordered from the 3 course menu and all the dishes were delicious. Our server Josh was very attentive and personable. We all enjoyed the evening and the food.
We had a wonderful Mother's day dinner at Aida. Every course was better than the previous! The service was phenomenal, and Chef Corey has been wonderful as the young executive chef!
Service was excellent. The food was exquisite in presentation and taste. The Snap-pea Rizzoto was amazing. The only criticism of the food would be that the raviolo pasta, that made the Cod Brandade Raviolo, was a bit tough. Aside from that one minor flaw everything was wonderful and I would recommend in a heartbeat.
Food was not at par with previous visits, which was especially disappointing given that it was Mother’s Day.
My family and I went for dinner to check out Aida’s Bistro and immediately liked what we saw. The food was fantastic and service was awesome. We decided to hold my daughter’s bridal shower here as well. They were phenomenal! Every request was taken care of with kindness and courtesy. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and went out of their way to ensure this special occasion was magnificent for us and our guests. We will definitely refer our friends and plan to return many more times in the future. I’d like to especially note how wonderful the manager, Joe was in helping with plans. Also, I can’t thank enough, Josh, the server who helped to host our event. Josh was wonderful and took care with every detail to make things run smoothly.
We were totally ignored! That is a fatal flaw in my book. There were servers running around but they totally ignored us! We will never go there again!
Very nice! Every time I go, I'm always impressed with the food, drinks, and the staff!
I had the goat cheese salad with grilled salmon and it was delicious. The service was wonderful as well, attentive but not over done. Highly recommend.
I do like this place. Food is verrry good and so is the service.
Wait staff is friendly, knowledgable and very competent. Ask for Boris.
Decided to sit in the bar because we had the waiter previously. Unfortunately, the waiter had double duty, bartender and waiter. On nights when the bar is fairly full, there should be a bartender on duty.
We were there for a celebratory lunch (5 persons). The staffing, menu and food were excellent, however, I thought the kitchen a bit slow considering there were a lot of empty tables.
Amazing...service and food were phenomenal
Waiter was very helpful & pleasant. Seats aren’t too close together. They gave my husband a small birthday dessert.
Great food, convenient location (within walking distance from my work location), and exceptional staff make this restaurant a big hit.
We were originally seated outside but there was a rude couple who were very loud. Our waiter understood our concern and sat us inside without any issues.
Joe Barbera was very attentive in asking about my food sensitivities and had the chef prepare the freshest scallops and spring risotto with no garlic or cream. Only Lupa has ever tried to make this level of effort to accommodate my Fodmap and lactose sensitivities. Normally I am navigating on my own.
The crispy sea bass was so delicious - I would definitely order on another visit. AIda has their fresh seafood down.
The waiter was very attentive. We were able to sit outside on a very lovely evening.
We made a reservation in the bar during happy hour. The waitress brought us water and menus and then it was a good 10 minutes before she showed up again. The bar or restaurant was not crowded. I could see the waitress in the back of the area behind the bar. She appeared to be eating - maybe it was her break. Once she did show up the service was fine. Food was so-so. I've had better bar food. Wine selection was good.
First time back to Aido Bistro in a couple of years. The service was excellent and the food was great (the crispy snapper special was beyond delicious). There was a slight problem with the wine we ordered, but our server took care of it promptly. My biggest complaint was the noise level - the acoustics are just a little off for quiet conversations over dinner. We'll definitely be returning.
We did the chefs table and had an amazing time. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. Joe the owner gave us a private tour and Correy the chef and his crew took great care of us. The food was delicious.
We had a marvelous experience at Aida’s today! I took my 95 year old father and 82 year old mother to lunch to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Aida made our celebration so special from accommodating our request to be seated in a quiet part of the restaurant to bringing my mother a complimentary dessert with “Best Wishes” piped in chocolate on the rim of the plate. Even the owner/manager stopped by our table to check in and to thank us for celebrating my mom’s special day with them. We will definitely return to Aida’s. Fantastic food and marvelous service.
Top Notch in every way! Aida’s wins the award for Restaurant of the year in my book. A tornado hit the Columbia area and knocked out the power at the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner to celebrate my son‘s upcoming wedding. We called 30 minutes before with a party of first 19, then 21 and then 24 people with three small children. Not only did they lovingly accommodate us with an emergency custom menu created by the chef for our party but the food, the room, the staff, and everything about this place will be a part of our wedding memories forever. Thank you all so much. And they stayed way past close to make sure that we all had a great time. Thank you Aida’s.
Our server was great the creme brûlée was amazing.. I finally found a restaurant that actually knows how to make it!!
