The food and ambience were great! It felt like a neighborhood café in Morocco. We ordered the chicken tagine with couscous, kefta kebab, vegetarian bastilla, and artichoke salad, as well as mint tea. We also had this fantastic rice pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our server was also so kind and friendly, I think she might be one of the owners. It was a wonderful experience, I would definitely recommended it to anyone!
Great food, great prices. No charge for BYO. Love this place!
Amazing food, we're loyal customers
Fantastic food, loved savoury green pea lamb tagine ! Service outstanding
I come here all the time, and have introduced many friends to this place who also love it! The food is amazing! I've tried another Moroccan restaurant nearby and it was nowhere near as good.
Amazing tasting food and great service
Had the best beef kebabs ever in a restaurant. Lamb shank was outstanding. Small restaurant with excellent food, so reservations are recommended. We will be regulars.
The food was wonderful and authentic. The staff was friendly and responsive. A great location for our concert at The Masonic.
Went here due to reviews on Open table. When we got here, we were the only table and we almost had second thoughts. Glad we stayed. Great food at a great price. They don't serve alcohol but they had glasses and wine opener for us to open the wine that we brought with us. We'd definitely go back here again when we're in the area. I wouldn't call this a destination restaurant - but great if you're in the area and want a good meal at an inexpensive price. It's always easy to find expensive restaurants in SF - so glad that this one is on our radar.
Great & generous Salad, lamb tangene with almonds & prunes and Royal kebab combo plate. The Mint tea was terrific --we had two pots. Would be nice if the 2nd pot is "bigger" in size. We also had the satisfying flan dessert.
Amazing moroccan food. Lots of choices, including vegetarian. There was a lot of food (good portion size!) and it all tasted good. The service was great. They work hard there. Food arrived hot, and plentiful. Servers happy to explain ingredients to those of us unfamiliar with some of the seasonings. Friendly fellow diners. The only reason there's one 4 star rating is because it did get a little noisy at times. We will definitely come back here. It's well priced, great food, excellent service. Delicious! Thank you to the chefs and staff.
Great food at reasonable prices. The chicken tagine won over my somewhat skeptical teenager. Lamb kebabs were perfectly cooked.
The bastilla was best but my lamb kebobs were very good as well. Initially they were over cooked, but the took them back and brought another order which was fine. Nice service but the atmoshphere is a bit austere.
We enjoyed dinner at Aicha/ it was a nice change of pace. The menu is a bit limited for those who don't eat lamb, but our dishes were very tastey. We had the chicken tagine and the chicken couscous. the ambiance is relaxed and feels very authentic - lots of tapestries and silver took us back to wonderful memories of Fez, and we'll be going again soon! (to Aicha:-)
This is my location of choice when I have friends or family visiting the city (especially vegetarians) and I want to show them a unique experience of San Francisco and Polk street.
The restaurant is small and not ostentatious. But every single time I've been here, the service has been fantastic, the food (I think I've tried everything on the menu at this point) has been delicious, hot, flavourful with high quality ingredients.
The mint green tea is a great way to relax into our meal, taking our time, and the staff honors opentable reservations reserving comfortable seats every time. I feel welcome.
