It was a surprisingly good meal. This restaurant is in a strip mall, in a very unlikely location but it was a wonderful surprise. The food was great. The poke bowl was the best I ever had. The black cod sushi was outstanding. The uni was good but not fabulous. Service was very good. When we are back in California we will make it our business to come back here for sure.

As always, Ahi Ahi provides consistency in the delicious sushi that we go there specifically for!

Great food with a comfortable family atmosphere.

The sushi is always great our favorite chef was there & he is always friendly & takes care of us. There was a rude & abrupt woman in front at the end who not only cancelled our reservation/point. She took a plate out from under me while I was still eating & holding my chopsticks over. She was very obviously in a big hurry to get everyone out of there, so she could leave. If it had been my first dining experience there I would never return! Due to the increasing poor wait staff service, we don't come in as much anymore; too bad the Sushi is very good!

Took my elderly parents. Very authentic Japanese cooking, great family comfort food as well as exotic fare. Staff is terrific!

This was a great find. Good menu, and the quality of the fish was excellent. It's a small place, so not a huge amount of tables, so expect a wait on a Friday evening. Service was very friendly and prompt. Went back a few times while here!

Always a good time with excellent food and a staff that works hard to please. We went during a very busy time and it great to "see food" come out a acceptable speed. Ordered sushi while at a table since some people did not want raw food. Still a acceptable delay, not as fast when the place is less packed, but always great quality.

The food is always good. They misoyaki salmon is my favorite. They have a great selection, something for everyone.

The food and variation and imagination in the menu is wonderful. The wasabi lamb is perfect - my wife loves them. I go back for the Sushi which is always fresh and delicious.

I also have to give some credit to the staff that was down 2 people but everyone seemed to be chipping in to get all the tables served. It is always a good thing to get fast service but they gave very personal service under tough conditions.

You are seated promptly when seating is available. Server is available soon to take your order with little wait.
The menu has a good mix of unique and standard fare, which is usually my personal choice.
Service during the meal is also good with refills on beverages and keeping the table clear of empty dishes.
Ahi Ahi has become one of our favorite restaurants.

This is our local sushi place, we go there pretty often and the food is always consistently good. Three quarters of the time we are at the sushi bar and one quarter at the table. For sushi they have a range of recently price and exotic options every week. The sushi chef do you have some secret menu items so I ask what is popular and they will tell you. No hard-sell on upscale items. The restaurant is standard Japanese restaurant fair, the food quality is good

Love this place as it's my go to for the best sushi in town!

Everything we ate was quite delicious (rolls, sushi, and other tid bits). Service was also good. The only down side was the banana fritter desert which was pretty bad. My wife and I had it on a prior visit and loved it. We were a little disappointed by the drop in quality.. Specifically, the bananas were not cooked at all (they were cold) and they were not sweet. They tasted like green plantains--not what banana fritters are supposed to be like.

Having said this, Ahi Ahi remains one of my favorite spots. Great food.

Their sushi is always so fresh and tasty. I'm so glad they have introduced yakitori to the menu as well. It's a local favorite and every time we go, we see all the regulars there. Sushi chefs know you, learn what you like and make you off menu specials. It's great.

This place got good reviews on Open Table; not sure why. The sushi was, at best, mediocre and tasteless. It wasn't bad, but certainly not worth a visit. It was crowded with what seemed a neighborhood clientele who seemed happy and familiar with their selections. More power to them as a neighborhood location; not a destination sushi place, though.

The Avocado Volcano and the Spicy Calamari were amazing! I also had the cucumber sushi roll and Grilled Salmon Salad, also winners. I have to stay away from carbs - they have a big enough menu to accommodate me!

Food was whatever, the family members of either the workers or owner sat right next to us. They had kids which were extremely noisy. Food was whatever. I don't think the sushi was even fresh. Will not go back.

I didn't realize what a gem we have so close to us. I had the cucumber sashimi, which was fantastic, and there are plenty of no -shush I choices on the menu for my husband. Nice wine selection also. Many interesting appetizers. Great ambiance. Good service. Lovely restaurant. Good find.

This is the ultimate sushi experience! My wife and I are Japanese food buffs...and this restaurant offers selections that are incredible!

The sushi is freshly prepared, portions are generous and the Happy Hour is a great value. We always enjoy our food and the rolls are well prepared...

We stopped in for a bite to eat and enjoyed the Happy Hour prices on many items. We will return, the sushi was very fresh, nicely prepared and delicious.
